Senior Social Media Officer
Are you passionate about social media and have experience of managing content across a range of platforms?
Sue Ryder is looking for a Senior Social Media Officer to join the Digital Team, to manage our portfolio of social media accounts and develop the charity’s channels to showcase the importance of our end-of-life care and bereavement support.
The Role
Reporting to the Social Media Manager, the role works closely with colleagues across the charity including fundraising, health & social care, and retail. Our social channels play a key role in providing support to people who are struggling with grief, as well as being an important engagement tool with our supporters. The role will be responsible for the content creation and planning across our accounts, including content around grief and bereavement, as well as taking ownership of key paid social campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
· Content planning for our local channels and leading on social media activities for fundraising events, PR campaigns and other projects.
· Creating content with a story-led approach including copywriting and developing visual assets for our national and retail accounts including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn and TikTok.
· Manage the response matrix for our social media moderation and escalation processes in line with organisational safeguarding procedures.
· Moderation cover for the Online Community and deputise for the Social Media Manager in meetings/project groups. Supervise the Social Media Assistant through proofreading, monitoring and delegating tasks.
· Gather data and insights to develop reports with actionable recommendations.
· Plan and implement paid social campaigns for fundraising events throughout the year.
· Provide training and support for colleagues in social media best practices.
About You:
· Experience in planning and coordinating social media content for different platforms
· Highly proficient digital copywriter with excellent attention to detail
· Intermediate level of Photoshop or Canva skills
· Experience creating and editing high-quality videos for social media and mobile
· Experience of using GA4, Looker Studio and Excel to build reports
· Ability to create, manage and optimise paid-for social media campaigns
· Excellent organisational skills and ability to efficiently work across a multi-disciplinary team to prioritise projects and content
· Experience of monitoring social media out of hours

Fairtrade Foundation We are recruiting for a Sustainable Sourcing Lead at the Fairtrade Foundation. This role is a new senior technical role to deliver and implement new and innovative solutions across Fairtrade supply chains.
This role will be leading the supply chain development for a pioneering Fairtrade strategic initiative which is supporting UK grocery retailers to collaborate on sustainability in supply chains. This role will have a focus on two key commodities; cocoa and coffee and will be responsible for a team developing & implementing sustainable supply chain strategies for key identified commodities. This roles focus is to:

- Developing a strong understanding of market and producer needs and articulating these realities and trends to both internal and external audiences.
- Providing deep supply chain expertise support more broadly and all along the value chain to drive forward new innovative solutions within the Fairtrade offer.
- Providing commodity and supply chain expertise and insights both to internal and external stakeholders for identified Strategic Initiatives.
- Maintaining and building engagement with relevant industry bodies, think tanks, NGOs and forums relevant for strategic Initiatives.

This is a brand new, unique role to be an impact catalyst across both Carlisle and Barnet youth zones, generating support and building towards a ‘culture of impact’ in both organisations such that outcome measurement and impact reporting becomes routine and ‘every day’.
Position: Impact and Insights Officer
Location: Home-working combined with a minimum of 8 days per month across both Barnet and Carlisle youth zones (travel expenses will be covered as part of the package)
Salary: £38,000 – £42,000 (dependent upon experience)

About the Role
You will lead on data analysis and reporting on the data held in Salesforce CRM, improving both the quality and quantity of monitoring and evaluation processes, driving improvements in data capture through training and upskilling the Youth Work team, strengthening the ability of both youth zones to demonstrate the measurable impact of youth work delivered.
You will also be responsible for measuring and demonstrating both charities’ impact to stakeholders; authoring and providing the necessary data to the leadership and fundraising teams and Board (as required), annual publications such as Trustees Reports and annual Impact Reports. Innovation is a key aspect of this role, involving the introduction and embedding of new methodologies to enhance the qualitative data capture process.
You will collaborate closely with a cross section of teams within the youth zones, working with the Youth Work delivery teams to feed data into decision making, and with the Communications and Fundraising teams to provide impact measurement and analysis content for use with stakeholders and in donor reporting. Furthermore, it will align impact and data work with national and local policy, and use national census, health, police and other statistical data to position both youth zones for new income generation opportunities.
About You
This role is ideal for someone who has the ability to bring technical analysis to life in a youth work setting and can communicate insights in an accessible style to different audiences. The Impact and Insights Officer should be passionate about embracing the power of youth work and be keen to support youth zones in evidencing the impact created with young people. It will require someone who can bring impact expertise and creativity to create buy-in and drive improvements in data capture; and someone who is keen to work flexibly and closely with teams of passionate youth workers and who is unafraid of the challenge presented by Youth Zones in two very different geographic locations.

London Victim and Witness Service is recruiting for 2 x DRIVE Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA). These roles are full-time working one-day per week in the office and the other days from home, with regular travel required to visit clients and attend meetings.

- Address the safety of victims at high risk of harm

AFK (Action For Kids) is a national charity helping young people with disabilities to develop their independence and find employment. Our vision is a world where all people living with a disability get to lead the life they choose. As part of this we provide bespoke employment skills and organise work experience placements across North London. At a national level, we provide mobility equipment not available on the NHS for disabled children and young people up to the age of 26.
Job Purpose
To support young people aged 18+ who have disabilities and/or are neurodiverse to gain employment. The role will be to primarily liaise with businesses and employers to broker new opportunities for supported and unsupported employment. You will also work with a small caseload of young people, assessing their employability skills. You will work closely with the Employment & Skills team to place young people from the Employment Coaches caseloads into employment, as well as locate some voluntary roles and work placements. You will deliver one to one job coaching to enable young people to progress towards their own goals and objectives.
Working Conditions
The post is 35 hours a week, normally between 9.30am – 5.30pm. The post holder may be expected to work some evenings and weekends as required by the job. There is a TOIL policy. This role is peripatetic within London.
Principle Responsibilities
- Engage with businesses and employers to source and secure employment opportunities for the young people AFK work with.
- Encourage businesses and employers to offer volunteering, work tasters and work placements that may also lead to paid opportunities for young people.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of the local labour market & opportunities relating to employment, work tasters, work placements and volunteering.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with local employer groups, statutory, voluntary and private organisations to support the development of suitable opportunities.
- Participate in employer visits with young people to engage them in the different workplace roles to further aid their choices in employment.
- Provide training / advice to employers as required.
- Provide employment support for the Employment & Skills team and produce monthly updates in line with AFKs key performance indicators (KPIs).

About the role:
The main purpose of this role is to provide quality support to children and young people who are victims and survivors of sexual violence. You will be responsible for completing comprehensive initial needs and risk assessments, developing and delivering personalised safety and support plans for clients, many of whom have additional vulnerabilities and have complex needs.
You will need to be able to build and maintain effective working relationships with the Police, statutory and voluntary agencies to deliver the best possible outcomes within a multi-agency setting. As well as being tenacious in support of your clients and adept at problem solving.
To be successful in this role you will need to be approachable, flexible and caring, demonstrating empathy at all times. You will have had lengthy experience of direct service delivery (casework) with people with complex needs (ideally with children) and will have a good understanding of the impact of sexual violence offences on victims and survivors and of safeguarding issues. IT literacy is a must and candidates must evidence both the ability to use bespoke packages and excellence in their recording practice.

About the role:
This role is based at Accrington. Once your probation period is completed you will be eligible to apply for hybrid working. As a Domestic Abuse Caseworker, you will be:
- Focusing on victims of domestic abuse, providing a pro-active, short to medium term crisis intervention service

Victim Support has been commissioned to provide a new, bespoke service in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire which will provide support to those affected by a recent high profile police incident including fraud and other crime types.
