Oxford Hospitals Charity is looking for a talented and creative fundraiser to lead on growing income from individuals. You will join a wider Fundraising team of eight people and play a key role in developing exciting activities; encouraging new support to grow our existing supporter base and inspire our loyal supporters to continue giving.

You will use your experience to help the charity maximise our fundraising by designing engaging and intentional multi-channel donor journeys. You will lead on making donor specific fundraising asks and delivering exemplary donor care to maximise lifetime value. Programme Delivery Officer role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to join our Programmes Team as a Programme Delivery Officer. PDOs are responsible for supporting and coordinating the delivery of First Give in up to 50 schools, ensuring smooth running of the programme, providing guidance and troubleshooting for the Lead Teachers.

The role is home-based, in Yorkshire, with regular travel to schools across the county and occasional forays to schools in the North-West. Several times a year travel will be required to London, where our office is based.

Key responsibilities

• Provide logistic and programme support to teachers delivering the First Give programme at their school, including but not limited to:
  • an introductory Programme Call with the Lead teacher;
  • delivering a briefing to class teachers;
  • troubleshooting via phone and email;
  • booking in First Give facilitated sessions
• Ensure all programmes are delivering all core elements of the First Give programme
• Update and monitor Salesforce to track programme delivery
• Liaise with freelance facilitators to ensure events at schools are effectively staffed
• Deliver Launch Assemblies, Workshops and First Give Finals in partner schools
• Collect data for monitoring (student surveys, teacher surveys, identifying potential stories of impact, writing programme reports)
• Ensure prompt delivery of any programme resources required by schools (including Coursebooks and other physical resources)
• Support in the collection and distribution of comms via social media, newsletters and other formats to raise awareness of First Give’s work

We’re looking for a Science Communications Officer (Fixed term) to join our team

Base: Central Edinburgh/hybrid

Finance Coordinator is a new role to support our expanding services.

Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) is a faith-based humanitarian relief and development organisation working to save and transform the lives of some of the world’s most vulnerable people.  Established in 1984, with an active presence in over 45 countries, we strive to make the world a better and fairer place for those affected by poverty, conflict and natural disasters. IRUK’s focus is strengthening effective funding, mobilising for change through advocacy and awareness-raising, and strengthening programme development and delivery. Islamic Relief UK (IRUK) is recruiting for the position of ‘Supporter Relations Assistant’ to be based from its Waterloo Office, London. This position is being offered on a fixed-term contract basis for 6 months. The organisation is currently operating to a hybrid working model.

To manage IRUK’s switchboard and phone enquiry system and to administer the entry of data on the fundraising database. This will include processing donations, updating supporter details, maintaining supporter records, and ensuring that information held is accurate, appropriate and up to date.

The successful candidate must have:

• Demonstrable experience in a similar role
• Experience of using databases
• Excellent customer service experience
• Experience of working with sensitive information
• Experience of and passion for, delivering excellent supporter care
• Good levels of computer skills with experience of working with databases and competent in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.
• Fast and accurate data entry skills
• Good standard of numeracy
• Proven administrative skills
• Excellent communication skills by phone, email, and post
• Experience of delivering timely and accurate responses
• Experience of multi-tasking and effectively prioritising workload. Ability to work in a methodical manner with attention to detail
• Must be a team player as well as being able to work on own initiative

We are seeking an inspiring leader to become the next Chief Executive of the Magistrates’ Association, the only independent voice of magistrates in England and Wales.

The MA is a Royal Charter charity with around 12,000 members. For more than a century we have championed magistrates, supported their development, and spoken truth to power on behalf of the magistracy and the wider justice system.

The role of the Direct Marketing Executive is a varied one. Working with different teams and suppliers, you will be supporting and delivering direct marketing campaigns across a range of media channels. The acquisition programme is an evolving one and there is change and growth happening in a lot of interesting areas at a fast pace.

As well as running day-to-day activities, the post holder will be responsible for supporting the wider acquisition team by ensuring data and supporter engagement processes are running smoothly across campaigns. Alongside this, they will ensure compliance and adherence to the most recent regulations and codes of practice is top of the agenda.

Fundraising experience is not essential for the role, but we are looking for someone with the desire and self-motivation to learn and develop, and the drive and passion to change the future for those affected by dementia. The successful candidate will be able to show this, be collaborative and enthusiastic, want to learn and develop, and be keen to get involved with the activities of the team right away.

Main duties and responsibilities of the role:

Fundraising and Marketing Campaigns

· Support with planning and delivery of a wide range of supporter engagement and fundraising activities including digital marketing and face-to-face fundraising.

· Support with the creation of content and copywriting for digital adverts.

· Social media monitoring of direct marketing activity, responding in line with brand messaging.

· Work with others in the team to conduct mystery shopping, shadowing and call listening to measure fundraising quality and ensure compliance.

· Liaise with designers, printers, mailing houses, agencies, and fulfilment houses.

· Support the day-to-day management of fundraising agencies and suppliers, ensuring relationships are effective and productive.

· Assist in the production and delivery of motivating fundraiser training that ensures quality, compliant fundraising.

· Support in recommendations for change and refinement across the direct marketing programme.

Finance & Reporting

· Daily campaign tracking and reporting.

· Administer the recording, reconciliation, and processing of invoices.

Team and Programme Support

· Tracking and evaluating competitor and industry trends, collaborating with the other Direct Marketing Executive to provide recommendations to the wider team for potential improvements and testing opportunities.

· Keep up to date on the latest developments within the sector relating to best practice in fundraising.

· Proof-read direct marketing materials and collateral.

· Regularly attend, support, and contribute to meetings and events.

· Ensure compliance and adherence to the most recent regulations and codes of practice.

 

What we are looking for:

· Experience of using Microsoft packages; particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

· Proof reading.

· Administrative experience.

· Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload.

· Willingness to collaborate and work closely with other departments and external suppliers.

· Excellent attention to detail.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the confidence to communicate with people of all levels.

· Strong team player and self-motivator.

· Strong focus on results and continuous improvement.

· Flexibility to work some unsocial hours and willingness to travel independently.

Additional Information:

Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.

Roles that are classed as part of the Agile ways of working are not able to claim any costs for Mileage/Travel on Public Transport, Accommodation and/or Meals.  This includes when attending the office for various meetings/events.

Salary: Circa £24,000 per annum, plus benefits
