In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
Strategy, vision and impact [25%]
- Be at the forefront of leading Resurgo’s ‘big picture’ vision of a transformed society, empowering churches to transform young lives
- Build and implement a strategy for developing relationships with local referral agencies to ensure effective recruitment of young people onto the Spear programme
- Oversee the reporting of the Centre outcomes and ensure the Spear Programme is delivered in line with agreed targets
Leadership, line management and training [25%]
- Lead your team with confidence; spurring them on in Resurgo’s mission; invest in a team culture of excellence, belonging and fun
- Manage and develop the Lead Coach and Graduate Coach, using a coaching approach to invest in their growth and development. This includes weekly 1:1s, performance reviews and regular feedback
- Equip your team to drive change through a data informed approach, and keep them accountable to agreed targets for the Spear Programme
Relationship management [20%]
- Manage great relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including referrers, local businesses, donors, and your Board of Trustees
- Embed into your local church; working closely with your Spear Trustees and congregation, and actively participating in their mission and events
- Partner with the Spear Trustees and assist in implementing their funding strategy by helping to build corporate and donor relationships. For example, by hosting prospective donors in the Training Room
Delivery of the Spear Programme [20%]
- Lead group and 1-1 coaching with numerous 16-24-year-olds: equipping them with practical work-ready skills and resilient mindsets
- Provide guidance to the Lead Coach in the training room when dealing with behavioural and safeguarding situations and upskill coaches with consistent coaching feedback
- Use a coaching approach to engage young people in challenging conversations that will enable them to take responsibility and over significant barriers to employment
Operations [10%]
- Liaise with relevant staff regarding site operations and work to resolve any issues as soon as possible, ensuring the office and training room are safe and tidy working spaces in line with health and safety policies

Using the Macmillan Electronic Holistic Needs Assessment to support Cancer Care Reviews will ensure patients have access to the right support for all their non-clinical needs. The post will also work on the preventative agenda, supporting uptake of cancer screening across the PCNs and supporting the practices within the PCNs to deliver their improvement plan around early diagnosis of cancer. This role will involve liaising with services from within the NHS structure as well as external services, so you will need to be skilled in navigating intricate processes and organisational structures from both the inside and the outside. You will also help with improving screening uptake and community engagement, building relationships with local services and groups to further enhance the support.

Last year we saw a 133% growth in the numbers of young people facing homelessness coming through our doors. Now, nearly half of them are - or recently have been - sleeping rough and with the numbers of young rough sleepers in the capital growing at an alarming rate, New Horizon Youth Centre has had to take decisive action to unlock support and housing for this group. The Head of Services - Rough Sleeping is a brand-new role for the organisation and will lead on developing a new internal strategy for young people facing rough sleeping, as well as holding operational oversight of our established youth-specific street outreach function and emergency accommodation hub, both of which are unique in London. You will need to be strategic in approach and an excellent relationship builder. You will act as our lead colleague on relationships with the Greater London Authority and London Councils’ rough sleeping teams, working with them to ensure our learning and insights inform policy and ultimately open up access to emergency support for those under 25. Alongside this you will need a keen eye for operational detail, have experience of delivering homelessness services, and be passionate about piloting new solutions to prevent homelessness among young people. The Gregory Centre for Church Multiplication (CCX) helps the Church make disciples in new and renewed ways. We work with willing partners across the Church to catalyse multiplication, equipping leaders through adaptive learning pathways.

CCX’s organisational structure is a hybrid management model, blending elements of both functional and project-based structures. The two core teams of Operations and Media operate as shared services across the organisation.

Schoolreaders was launched ten years ago in Bedfordshire with the aim of recruiting volunteers to provide one-to-one reading support for children in primary schools across the country. Over 22,000 children in over 1000 schools are receiving weekly reading sessions from a Schoolreaders volunteer. This exciting role is an important part of the PR and Media team which works to increase the Foundation’s profile and reputation with target audiences. We aim to strengthen our brand presence and ability to influence and inform decision makers by engaging professional stakeholders and the public through media and other communication channels.
What does the role involve?
· Delivering key communications projects, particularly related to our policy and research work, in a coordinated and strategic way.
· Being a source of expert communications support to senior management colleagues and organisational spokespeople.
· Supporting the development and delivery of campaigns including our Mental Health Awareness Week.
What skills, knowledge and experience are we looking for?
· Knowledge and experience of running effective communications campaigns.
· Proven writing and editorial skills, capable of delivering engaging and concise copy for a range of communications channels.
· Demonstrable ability to develop a wide range of contacts in the media and external environment, and to work in partnership with other organisations.
· Interest in mental health, public health, and social justice.

The role of Community Fundraising Manager for Yorkshire & Humber is to engage, inspire and develop a network of individuals and local groups who will in turn help generate income through events to support and fund NSPCC services.

Job purpose
· To be accountable for the delivery of a fundraising budget and help grow income to raise vital funds to support the work of the NSPCC.
· To support and steward existing volunteer networks, develop new relationships, and establish new fundraising groups in Yorkshire.

Key relationships - Internal
· Reports to the Supporter Fundraising Manager (North East, Yorkshire & Humber.)
· A member of the Community Fundraising Team for the North East, Yorkshire &
Humber region.
· Works closely with other colleagues in fundraising to develop supporters, potential supporters and fundraising initiatives.
Key relationships - External
· Working with NSPCC supporters and organisations, including senior volunteers, Fundraising Group Chairs, Regional Trustees and local partners.
Main duties and responsibilities
· With the guidance of the Supporter Fundraising Manager, devise, agree, deliver and be accountable for the area income budget, managing expenditure appropriately - to enable the NSPCC to plan its activity and services to grow fundraising income.
· To be responsible and accountable for the development of relationships with all supporters and deliver consistent high-quality stewardship and engagement programmes to retain existing and help grow new volunteer groups inspiring them to raise funds
· To identify new opportunities, to recruit and onboard new volunteers and fundraising groups
· To work with fundraisers and staff in other departments to maximise relationships with NSPCC supporters.
· Attend and speak at events and meetings, representing NSPCC when required.
· To complete monthly reports and ensure compliance with policy and procedures including safeguarding and EDI, always adhering to NSPCC values and behaviours.

· To update databases and supporter information systems on a regular basis in line with Data Protection legislation and NSPCC policy and procedures.

1. Experience of success in developing relationships to achieve results within a fundraising or income generating environment.

3. Excellent communication skills to deliver fundraising pitches, ideas, and project updates to a range of audiences in a clear, inspiring and confident way.
