The opportunity
We are seeking a commercially minded, results-driven professional to support the delivery of CILIP’s membership growth strategy. This pivotal role is responsible for generating demand through targeted marketing campaigns and converting interest into membership through business development and relationship management.
Working closely with the Director of Business Development, you will play a key role in achieving CILIP’s strategic goal of increasing both individual and organisational membership, while also maximising member lifetime value. You will take a cross-functional approach to attract new audiences, re-engage lapsed members, and foster long-term loyalty.
About the role
This role supports the delivery of CILIP’s membership growth strategy, focusing on generating demand, converting leads into new members, and enhancing member retention and value. Working closely with the Director of Business Development and cross-functional teams, you’ll take an integrated, insight-led approach to increasing individual and organisational membership, aligned with CILIP’s strategic priorities.
Key areas of delivery:
· Demand generation and lead nurture
Plan and deliver targeted, multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, social, email) to attract new members. Develop compelling messaging and offers in collaboration with the Marketing and Communications team, and engage key audience segments, including underrepresented groups.
· Lead conversion and business development
Qualify and convert leads through proactive engagement and relationship management. Build a strong membership pipeline, track performance metrics, and optimise the member acquisition journey.
· Retention and member value
Ensure new members are effectively onboarded and connected with relevant services. Use data insights to assist the development of retention strategies, drive engagement, and support the promotion of CILIP’s wider offer, including training, events, and professional registration.
· Data, insight and reporting
Monitor membership performance and campaign outcomes, maintaining accurate records within the CRM. Produce regular reports that will be used to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
· Cross-team collaboration
Work collaboratively with internal teams to support aligning messaging and integration of supporter journeys. Represent CILIP externally at events and networking opportunities, and contribute to broader organisational goals, including digital transformation initiatives.
About you
The ideal candidate will have experience delivering digital marketing campaigns that drive lead generation and conversion, ideally within a membership or service-based environment. You’ll be confident using CRM systems to manage pipelines and track performance, and skilled at collaborating across teams to deliver integrated journeys.
· Essential experience: Track record in delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns, converting leads into paying customers or members, and working across teams to meet performance goals using CRM systems and data insights.
· Desirable knowledge: Understanding of the membership lifecycle, experience in a professional body or association context, and an appreciation for balancing commercial objectives with public benefit.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Communications and Events Coordinator lead the development and delivery of Khulisa’s communications strategy and key campaigns, designed to engage our supporters, stakeholders, and the wider UK public.
About Khulisa:
Khulisa, meaning 'nurture' in the Zulu language of South Africa, is an award-winning charity dedicated to providing therapeutic support to young people. We focus on reaching those who are most at risk – young people from deprived communities who are often marginalized, vulnerable to exclusion, and at heightened risk of becoming involved in crime.
Our approach centres on safe, exploratory methods that aim to understand behaviour and experiences often rooted in trauma, abuse, and neglect. We deliver intensive therapeutic programs within educational and community settings, empowering young people to confront the underlying causes of their emotional distress and work toward healing. To create lasting, sustainable change, we also work to establish trauma-informed environments around young people by equipping parents, caregivers, educators, and other professionals with the tools they need to offer effective, supportive care. Currently, our services are active in London and Manchester.
About the role:
This role will be a key part of helping to raise awareness of Khulisa’s mission and the issues we address, strengthening support for our programmes. The postholders will also take ownership of planning and delivering all Khulisa events, ensuring they are impactful and well-executed.
- Develop and deliver Khulisa’s Communications and Branding Strategy in line with the strategic plan.
- Lead public engagement campaigns to raise awareness, promote youth voice, and drive participation.
- Plan and manage events, including fundraising and challenge events, from concept to delivery.

The Role:
The Fundraising & Events Officer will provide administrative assistance with grants and donor fundraising and the logistics for events. Working alongside the Development Manager and the Founding Director you will support identifying and managing donor opportunities, and the research and support of applications to Trusts and Foundations. It is a diverse and varied role and is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to build a solid foundation in fundraising and events.
This is a results-driven role with the postholder driving planned income growth by establishing, enabling, and inspiring events, building relationships and maximising fundraising efforts. Principal Accountabilities for the Core Job:
- Ensure all the necessary administration to support fundraising including recording all donations and potential contact information on Salesforce, thanking and reporting to all event attendees and donors.
- Assistance in the planning, setting up and logistics of all events including attending events as required (includes occasional out of office and out of hours commitments).
- Establish and maintain donor contacts on the database, and, with the Development Manager, coordinate donor communication and planning.
- Prepare donation quarterly reports and report post event on financial and potential contact outcomes and lessons learnt.
- Build and support our individual giving Champions programme through events and regular communications.
- Work with the Founding Director in research to support grant applications and assistance in making applications to small grant–making organisations.
- Prepare information for reports to Trusts and Foundations and major donors, creating a fundraising dashboard to include uploading and managing reporting and grant deadline dates on Salesforce including the establishment of a reporting procedure for existing grants makers.
- Working with the Development Manager, ensure there is sufficient and appropriate fundraising events to meet the annual donations targets through events.
- With the Executive Director and the Development Manager, support the logistics for event committees including assisting in identifying potential Chairs and committee members and working with the event hosts.
- Support the Development Manager to expand FCW’s fundraised revenue through developing event sponsorship opportunities and other forms of event revenue (ticket sales, raffles etc).
- Supported by the Finance Director, set up and manage the annual budget for expenditure and income from events.

The Direct Marketing Manager at CBM UK is a vital role and has responsibility for delivering CBM UKs digital and direct marketing plans to engage and inspire individual supporters and churches to support the work of CBM.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing, as part of the Public Fundraising team, the role holder will be responsible for the management and development of two Marketing Officers. Through digital and direct marketing, the Public Fundraising team are responsible for raising over £3m of unrestricted income from cultivation, acquisition, mid-value donors, regular giving, legacies and churches.
Key responsibilities
Fundraising campaign management (40%)
Manage the effective implementation of the annual public fundraising plan, ensuring that all activity is of a high standard, and delivered on time and to budget:
a. Oversee cultivation fundraising appeals primarily carried out through direct mail and email, leading on the continued development of mass fundraising to engage both existing and potential supporters, including high donors, regular givers and church communities.
b. Manage and develop CBM UKs donor acquisition activity in collaboration with the Marketing Officer (Acquisition), using channels such as social media, magazine inserts, press advertising, email and telephone.
c. Oversee the delivery of CBM UKs legacy and in-memoriam giving plans and campaigns.
d. Identify and consider new income streams and broaden the channels used currently for direct response campaigns to reach an agreed balance of long-term value versus risk.
Digital marketing (40%)
Grow digital engagement and income from new and existing supporters:
a. Lead on Pay Per Click strategy, including agency management and development of internal capabilities.
b. Oversee CBM UK’s paid social media activity.
c. Collaborate with the Communications Team to optimise the performance (traffic and income) of fundraising pages, including appeal and donation pages, churches and community, legacy, and in memoriam giving. Ensuring fundraising pages on the CBM website are engaging to existing and new audiences and where appropriate, utilising Search Engine Optimisation tools where appropriate.
d. Explore and make use of new and existing digital platforms and partners, such as Dataro and SEMrush, while promoting a culture of testing, innovation and learning within the digital space.
Leadership and people management (10%)
a. Support and inspire direct reports in line with CBM UK’s staff management policies and procedures. Ensure team members are appropriately trained, briefed and motivated to achieve their objectives and meet targets and recruit to posts where relevant. Regular 121s and appraisal reviews.
Planning and reporting (10%)
a. Monitor and report on fundraising appeals, identifying opportunities for future testing and optimisation, and contribute to the creation of annual planning, budgeting, and the setting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Purpose of the role:
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support our Finance function in its day-to-day operations. This role is key to maintaining accurate financial records, supporting payment processing, and ensuring robust financial administration. You will work closely with the Head of Finance and play a critical role in supporting internal processes and contributing to the effective financial management of The Churchill Fellowship.
Key responsibilities:
Financial Processing and Bookkeeping
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping duties and ensure timely and accurate data entry
- Process supplier invoices and Fellows' grant payments via the purchase ledger
- Prepare weekly payment runs and ensure payments are accurate, authorised and recorded
- Manage and reconcile credit card transactions and receipts

Bank and Account Reconciliations

About the role
As Central Fundraising & Engagement Executive, you will be the first point of contact for Save the Children fundraisers, volunteers and corporate supporters, delivering excellent supporter experiences to inspire action and deepen relationships.
You will create engaging communications, manage operational processes, and collaborate across teams to support key campaigns and projects such as Save the Children's Christmas Jumper Day.
This is a hybrid role, working from our London Farringdon head office circa 2 days per week.
In this role, you will:
• Manage relationships with community volunteers, individual fundraisers, and corporate contacts to provide a high standard of supporter care.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive stewardship plans to inspire and maximise fundraising and engagement.
• Create engaging and effective communications across multiple channels for internal and external audiences.
• Support the development of fundraising resources to equip supporters with ideas and tools for successful activities.
• Provide operational and communications support for key departmental campaigns, emergency appeals and initiatives.
• Contribute to income forecasting and pipeline management for the Regional Fundraising & Engagement team.
About you
To be successful, it is important that you have:
• Proven experience in delivering exceptional fundraiser or customer care.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and inspire supporters.
• Experience using CRM databases (preferably Salesforce) and confident with Microsoft Office programmes including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• A good understanding of fundraising rules and regulations.
• Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
• A proven ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, supporters and suppliers.

OVERVIEW
This role will be a key member of our ambitious team, delivering a growing portfolio of fundraising campaigns, fundraising events, and supporter engagement initiatives. You’ll oversee our supporter journeys, manage our communications channels, and build meaningful relationships that drive income and deepen our impact.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Fundraising Campaigns & Income Generation
- Work with the Head of Fundraising to plan and deliver our 12-month supporter journey – including fundraising campaigns (online and offline), events and appeals.
- Manage our calendar of challenge events (e.g. The Don’s Cycle Challenge, Wombles Walk, Sponsored Skydive).
- Grow supporter-led community fundraising in the local area.
- Lead outreach to engage new local partners – including small businesses, schools and clubs – promoting fundraising opportunities and supporting their initiatives.
Communications & Marketing
- Alongside the Head of Fundraising, lead all communications for the charity.
- Create engaging fundraising content for email, website, and social media to drive online donations, event and programme sign-ups.
- Work with the wider Foundation team and club comms team to create content for social media, e-newsletters and our website.
- Promote Foundation programmes and campaigns to fans, families, and local supporters, driving participation and donations.
- Create marketing materials (posters, flyers, etc.) to support charitable prorammes and campaigns.
- Collaborate with Senior Managers to share the impact of the Foundation through monitoring and evaluation reports. Including creating the annual organsiation Impact Report.
- Manage the Foundation’s website, ensuring content is regularly updated, fully functioning, and aligned with key campaigns, events, and programmes.
Supporter Engagement & Stewardship
- Manage the supporter engagement programme, delivering a rolling 12-month plan of personalised and meaningful touchpoints.
- Develop and implement strategies to encourage increased giving and recruit new regular donors.
- Maximise engagement and retention of individual supporters (particularly low- to mid-level donors) through excellent donor care, timely thanking, and compelling communications.
- Coordinate supporter stories and participant case studies to inspire giving.
- Manage our weekly e-communications, using engaging content to recruit new subscribers and convert them into donors, event participants, or programme attendees.
Supporter Care
- Act as the first point of contact for fundraisers and donors, delivering first-class stewardship and support.
- Ensure timely, warm and effective follow-up with all supporters, helping them feel inspired, valued and connected.
Events & Community Activation
- Support the delivery of fundraising and engagement opportunities at AFC Wimbledon fixtures and stadium events.
- Represent the Foundation at local events, cheque presentations, and community partner visits.
Administration & Data Management
- Maintain accurate supporter and income records in our CRM system, ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection laws.
- Liaise with the Finance Officer to process donations, including Gift Aid claims and income reconciliation.
- Provide regular fundraising reports and insights for internal and external stakeholders.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential
Qualifications & Experience
- Hold a relevant higher education or industry recognised certification or have a minimum of at least 1–2 years' experience in a fundraising, communications, supporter engagement or similar role
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with supporters, partners, or donors
- Experience planning and delivering fundraising campaigns, events, or community initiatives
- Experience using digital tools for fundraising and engagement (e.g. mass email platforms, design tools, giving platforms, CRM systems)
- Experience creating digital content (e.g. website management social media, e-newsletters, case studies)
Skills & Abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Confident in working independently, taking initiative, and problem-solving
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when managing supporter data and income records
- Ability to travel to activity & meetings across London and surrounding areas
Knowledge
