This is a newly created role and there is a great deal of untapped potential here for a proactive leader to support the CEO and SLT to create efficiencies in how we manage our internal infrastructure (IT Systems and processes), Finance and charity Governance, and HR/people to ensure we maintain and develop a thriving and nurturing working environment. All parts of the Church will need to raise funds to implement this net zero plan. In 2024 and 2025, the Church of England is testing and piloting a range of approaches to help churches fundraise for projects. Our feasibility study identified that statutory sources of funding, currently under-accessed will be a new area of opportunity for churches, schools and housing to access.
The Giving Directorate is leading on the strategy to coordinate and support the plans being developed by our dioceses, churches, cathedrals, schools, and departments. In addition, The Giving Directorate and NetZero Programme Team will be engaging with funders at a national level to secure investment for projects.
Job Summary:
As Net Zero Carbon Statutory Fundraising Coordinator, you will work in The Giving Directorate and operate across the whole Church with a focus on supporting parishes and dioceses to access statutory funds. You will share your knowledge and insight to support with identifying, researching and applying to funding from a range of government sources. You will develop and maintain resources, guidance and training and help share best practice across the country, as well as working with regional fundraisers. With a range of projects and fundraising initiatives, the post holder will work collaboratively within The Giving Directorate and with the Net Zero Programme Team, with diocesan colleagues and with church volunteers.

The role:
Main responsibilities
- Develop a national plan to secure statutory funding at parish and diocesan level
- Acting as a central point of coordination between the schools, housing and parish fundraising workstreams to oversee statutory funding
- Working specifically with the Regional Fundraising Officer in the north west cluster of dioceses to identify and support applications to statutory funding sources by parishes
- Working with Net Zero Implementation Manager to support statutory funding applications for clergy housing
- Building capacity in dioceses to support senior staff (incl. Bishops) to use their networks to identify relevant statutory funding opportunities (e.g. mayors, local council leadership, police and crime commissioners etc)
- Supporting dioceses to think creatively about packaging projects up a) between parishes, b) between parishes, schools and clergy housing, c) across deaneries.
- Leading consortia of dioceses to apply for funding if available and supporting applications
- Building a hub of best practice and shared learning which will include designing and delivering training to staff and volunteers at all levels
- Sharing statutory funding opportunities across the Church of England, Net Zero Carbon, Giving, and Fundraising networks and with Cathedrals
The ideal candidate:
To be successful, you will need experience of securing statutory funding for projects and of other aspects of fundraising. You will need to be a very strong self-motivator and initiator as the job requires an ability to work across a wide geographical area on a diverse range of projects. Experience managing projects would also be useful. You will be an excellent trainer and communicator.
Due to the specialist nature of the roles within The Giving Directorate, training will be provided to successful candidates to enable them to carry out their role confidently.
Qualifications
- Educated to degree level, or equivalent/relevant experience.
- Membership of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising
Experience
Essential:
- Experience in securing funding from statutory funders
- Success in securing five and six-figure gifts
- Experience of other types of grants and trust fundraising in a paid capacity
- Experience of working successfully in multi-disciplinary teams across departments in a complex organisation.
- Influencing others through communication and strong leadership skills
Desirable:
- Experience of working within the Church sector, either in a paid or voluntary capacity, ideally in relation to giving, fundraising, or church finances.
- Experience working in the environment/low-carbon/sustainability sector.

Role: Digital Marketing Manager
Hours: 30 hours per week (4 days per week)
Location: Homebased within the UK with a requirement to travel to occasional meetings, mostly held in London

About the role
We’re recruiting for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to steer us in the next stage of our journey. This is an exciting development of an existing role at Overcoming MS and will allow the successful candidate to make the position their own.
The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for delivering an innovative new digital marketing approach, through the innovation, creation and delivery of projects and activities which increase leads, donations and engagement for Overcoming MS charity.
Key Responsibilities
The Digital Marketing Manager will work across several areas, including:
1. Conversion optimisation
· Increasing our donations and data capture - to enable us to continue the dialogue and create donations from a greater percentage of those who visit our website, or interact with other digital channels.
· Working with our agency partner to optimise key landing pages and signposting for conversion.
2. User journey optimisation
· Helping people find the right content based on data optimisations so that more people find what they need and understand what else the charity could offer them. Using HotJar for insights.
· Automated email journeys - Building customer journeys to support the Program pillars to build deeper relationships with people in our community.
3. Increasing reach and traffic generation
· Testing different low-cost digital reach opportunities.
· Including paid social, referral activities, calls to action across our channels, YouTube SEO and SEM. Working with an agency to optimise journeys from Google Grant, leading to clearly articulated actions (eg donations, sign-ups, click-throughs).
4. Testing to improve results continually
· Email AB testing - Deliver AB testing to inform future email AB tests.
· Plan AB testing for email marketing projects, for the website, and other projects as needed to improve conversion rates.
5. Digital project management
· Testing new digital versions of courses and tools. Project management of website updates.
6. Campaign support
· Leading, innovating and supporting advocacy, communications and fundraising campaigns as needed to increase reach, engagement and conversions.
7. Gathering community feedback
· Continue the plan to access regular community feedback to influence Hub improvements and other digital channel improvements.
8. Supplier collaboration
· Working with our suppliers to optimise collaboration, reduce cost and increase impact.
About you
Strong digital skills
• A proven track record of managing digital products/projects/programmes which create value for end-users.
• Strong working knowledge and experience in digital solutions.
• Experience in evaluating and improving existing digital programs.
• Significant experience working with 3rd party digital providers to create solutions that work for the target audience.
• Confident in Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Excellent understanding of AB testing to maximise conversion rates.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced operations manager to join our team. We are looking for someone who will help strengthen the foundations of our organisation, as well as help us expand our growing network of partner organisations across the UK.
As a small charity, the role will require balancing practical tasks with strategic planning and management. Building on what has already been done, you will work directly with the CEO to help build the operational structure of Big Green Heart, and support its day-to-day operations.

About us
World Jewish Relief has been successfully delivering our refugee employment programme, STEP, for over seven years. Research into this programme showed that women were dropping out more often than men, not moving through the programme as fast as men, and not getting the same level of job outcomes. As a result, STEP Forward was created to specifically address the barriers to integration faced by women.
The aim is for women refugees to make informed decisions about their lives and their continued pathways in the UK. In April 2023, a new phase of the programme was launched with a target to support 315 women until April 2026 in Coventry, Bradford, and Leeds.
Project Details
We are seeking a Monitoring and Evaluation consultant(s) to assess STEP Forward programme effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations for enhancement. The consultant(s) will be responsible to produce three monitoring reports between 2024 and 2026.
Specific tasks:
- Conduct a thorough desk review of all relevant project documents.
- Design and implement a systematic approach for data collection, both quantitative and qualitative.
- Engage key stakeholders, including partners and clients, through surveys, focus groups, and individual interviews, including site visits to Coventry, Bradford and Leeds.
- Leverage various data collection tools to gather quantitative and qualitative data.
- Compile comprehensive reports that synthesise the consultancy's findings and recommendations.
- Deliver presentations that effectively convey the consultancy's findings to a diverse audience.

As an Area Manager you will give leadership, direction and guidance to the staff of Medaille Trust to ensure the provision and development of a high quality service in line with the Trust’s Mission, Values and Strategy.
You will have a good understanding of the CQC framework relating to Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking. You will carry out quarterly assurance audits in all safe houses ensuring any appropriate action is taken where necessary.
You will line manage, induct, mentor, coach and support Service Managers. Additionally, you will ensure that any complaints, grievances and disciplinaries are investigated and responded to in an effective and timely manner in line with Medaille Policies.
Although the post is home based, the post holder will be expected to travel frequently to our safe houses within the South and London areas with some overnight stays.
You must have previous experience in a relevant sector or experience of working with adults that are vulnerable. Experience of managing staff, carrying out line management, supervision and appraisals is essential. Additionally, you must have experience of setting up Service User Engagement groups.
