An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Executive Assistant to join the Chief Executives office. Your role is to provide high quality support to the Directors and by extension, the Senior Leadership Team

Role Requirements

• Provide high level administrative support to the Directors.
• Exercise judgement in prioritisation, dealing with matters within own remit and / or referring them to the director as and when necessary, ensuring tact, discretion and courtesy at all times.
• Review incoming mail, prioritising, redirecting or responding to issues.
• Monitor the email inbox of the Director(s), responding where relevant and highlighting any urgent messages to Director.
• Draft, edit and format documents
• Arrange travel bookings / itineraries
• Communicate instructions and other messages to managers and staff clearly and promptly on behalf of the Director(s)
• Keep Emergency Procedures File up to date.
• Monitor team PDR dates, and keep Director(s) updated in this regard; schedule PDRs for Director’s direct reports.
• Effectively support meetings in terms of venue, accommodation, equipment, and refreshments.
• Attend team and other relevant meetings taking and producing minutes for distribution (as required);
• Liaise with Reception in relation to external visitors and ensure the smooth running of internal and external meetings and visits;
• Process expenses on behalf of the Director(s).
• Manage the Director’s corporate credit card and reconcile against monthly statements
• Assist the Director(s) with additional administrative/organisational tasks assigned at the discretion of the Director.
• Assist in the planning, execution and tracking of key projects. Coordinate project timelines, deliverables and resources to ensure successful completion within deadlines.

Job Description

This role is central to positioning CSC as the leading small-to-medium-sized science centre and STEM engagement organisation in the UK. Working with the CEO and Directors, you will help identify opportunities, shape the CSC marketing strategy and convert that into an objective-centric plan of action. You will be responsible for all CSC marketing campaigns and activity, owning the brand and its development across all key audiences, including the public, community groups, teachers and school leadership, corporate CSR teams, and educational grant providers. You will own CSC’s marketing partnerships and publicity channels, including the website, social media, YouTube and press contacts. To develop a steady stream of interesting content for these channels and to celebrate key successes of the organisation, you will animate the entire CSC team to capture and share impactful stories through newsletters, media appearances, social media, conferences, and direct engagements. Additionally, you will ensure the organisation is supported with up-to-date collateral across all major functions and initiatives, while fostering a customer-focused approach through media and marketing skills training across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

● Develop and manage all CSC marketing and advertising, including prioritising of activities to best achieve annual targets within marketing budget

● Own all aspects of the CSC brand and its development

● Support the CEO in the development and revision of a multi-year marketing strategy, identifying top-priority objectives for focused campaigns which you will then own

● Maintain a cross-organisation annual marketing plan and quarterly update schedule with key staff members to help identify ongoing opportunities to promote CSC activities, products, community engagements and programmes

● Working with the broader CSC team, create and manage a marketing content development plan, including case-studies, blogs and social-media threads, to best seize publicity opportunities and achieve annual marketing objectives

Manchester Young Lives is a well-established charity with a 54-year history, providing free open access play, youth, and early intervention programmes. We also provide tailored Post 16 programmes which prepare young people aged 16 to 24 years with an Education Health Care Plan to enter training or employment by offering a programme of functional skills qualifications, employability qualifications and a wide range of enrichment activities aimed to promote independence and confidence.

Wikimedia UK is the national platform for open knowledge, bringing together practical and policy expertise about Wikipedia and the other Wikimedia projects. We are seeking an Education Lead to create a step change in the scale and impact of our education work. The post holder will lead Wikimedia UK’s work with the education sector, focusing on secondary schools, and including universities and non-formal education.

Main Duties

1. Programme Development and Delivery

• Lead on the development and delivery of Wikimedia UK’s education programme, in collaboration with the Director of Programmes and Evaluation and other colleagues
• Build on our learning from past and existing activities across Wikimedia UK and the wider movement to develop and roll out a new Wikimedia and information literacy programme for the UK’s secondary school sector; adapting this for the four nations as appropriate
• In conjunction with other Programmes staff, support the delivery of information literacy projects within higher education, through existing and new strategic partnerships as well as smaller projects and interventions such as Wikimedia in the Classroom courses
• Develop and deliver a range of information literacy activities
• Seek opportunities for new partnerships within the education sector, and grow existing relationships with potential delivery partners, for example within the cultural sector
• Work with the Development team and other staff to identify and follow up funding opportunities for existing or potential projects
• Support other staff within the Programmes team in their own work with the education sector

2. Sector Advocacy

• Promote the importance of media and information literacy skills to digital citizenship and civic engagement, and demonstrate Wikimedia’s value in developing those skills through running targeted interventions and disseminating our research and outcomes
• Advocate for a strong focus on media and information literacy skills in schools and university curricula, and work with other staff, partners and allies to campaign for public policy initiatives and investment to support these skills across society

3. Monitoring, Evaluation and Impact

• Run and evaluate the pilots of our work in schools
• Report regularly on programme plans, outputs and outcomes, in collaboration with other staff in the Programmes team
• Handle documentation and record all relevant programme metrics. Update CRM records for partnerships, volunteers and activities

4. Communication and Dissemination

• Write blog posts, create case studies, and generally contribute to the promotion and dissemination of our work and impact, in collaboration with the Communications team

The Senior Children’s and Families Pastor is a key role within the staff team at St Stephen’s.

We are looking for someone with a passion to see children (0-11s) and their families grow as whole life disciples of Jesus, with direct experience working with children, and proven strategic leadership skills, to lead this ministry into continued growth at this exciting time for St Stephen’s.

Currently there are 4 main strands to children’s ministry at St Stephen’s:

1. Church based kid’s ministry and discipleship

The successful candidate will take responsibility and strategic oversight for all 0-11 ministry, leading the kids and families team (presently consisting of a part time community families pastor, and the Associate kids pastor, to be appointed.) and the recruitment and training of a large volunteer team.

We are looking for a thoughtful, relational and data savvy Individual Giving and Philanthropy Lead to strengthen and grow our community of supporters. This is an exciting opportunity for a fundraiser who wants to take ownership of a key income stream, shape strategy and bring creativity and care to supporter relationships.

This is a hands-on and strategic role that blends relationship building, storytelling, data management and fundraising techniques. You’ll work closely with the CEO, trustees, the corporate partnerships lead and our communications lead to develop a supporter care programme that reflects our values, grows engagement and ultimately increases income. Main Responsibilities:
Working with the CEO, trustees corporate partnerships and communications team, your main responsibilities will be:

• Individual Giving and Donors: develop, manage, monitor and improve the individual giving fundraising portfolio - with the initial aim of generating in excess of £250,000 per annum from individual giving. 
• Relationships with local churches and their congregations: work with the trustees and senior leadership team to deepen our relationships with out (cross denominational) member churches and to build links with additional churches in and near the area and local umbrella Christian organisations. 
• Relationships with local institutions: work with other local institutions such as schools and business to find individual donors who will financially support Pecan's work. .
• Fundraising Appeals: coordinate fundraising appeals including the Pecan and Foodbank Christmas fundraising campaign, Big Give Campaigns, and other appeals across all income and media streams.
• Fundraising Systems and Processes: Oversee our fundraising systems and processes using our new CRM (Beacon) to ensure data is accurate, GDPR compliant, segmented and usable for effective analysis, reporting and engagement. 

Key Requirements (specific skills, qualifications required):

• Proven experience in individual giving fundraising, including appeals and donor journeys.
• Experience managing and stewarding a portfolio of regular and one-off donors.
• Experience of using and maintaing a fundraising CRM (e.g. Beacon, Raiser's Edge, Donorfy, Salesforce), including data segmentation and analysis.
• Experience writing compelling donor communications (letters, emails, thankyous, updates). 

Desirable knowledge/expertise

• Exposure to, or experience with, major donor fundraising (e.g. researching prospects, supporting cultivation or stewardship).
• Understanding of Pecan's values and how they shape organisational culture.
• Knowledge of Peckham and the London Borough of Southwark.
• Member of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising or similar professional body.

Role Context

The Accelerating Reform Fund is an initiative launched in 2023 by the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC) which aims to transform social care services, making them more responsive to the needs of the community. It is a national programme, with 42 regions taking part and contributing to a national evaluation led by Ipsos. Greater Manchester (GM) is one of the ARF regions – we have formed a consortium across the GM Integrated Care System area consisting of the ten local authorities, health and VCSE partners to deliver projects on two themes:

1. Services that reach out to, and involve, unpaid carers through the hospital discharge process. (We have 8 hospital discharge projects across GM currently in the delivery phase across GM)

2. Improving respite options for carers via the community-based care model, Shared Lives through increasing workforce and exploring flexible options to reduce risk of carer breakdowns (Our main, GM wide, projects are delivering a regional communications campaign to raise awareness of Shared Lives and recruit more carers, and developing an early intervention model of Shared Lives supporting people living with dementia).

Gaddum was appointed to provide dedicated infrastructure support to ensure effective coordination and delivery of ARF projects and the GM consortium. This includes secretariat and project management responsibilities, financial oversight, leadership on coproduction, stakeholder engagement, and liaison with national partners.

Role Purpose

The Lived Experience Coordinator will sit within Gaddum’s Coproduction team but work closely with the ARF infrastructure team consisting of Senior Project Manager and Project Administrator and our appointed external marketing and communications partner agency to ensure a seamless, joined-up approach to embedding engagement and coproduction in the ARF in line with the overall project aims and timelines.

The main purpose of the role is to ensure that people with lived experience (PWLE) are enabled and empowered to contribute to project design, steering, evaluation, and decision-making processes in the ARF, thereby driving service transformation and improvement across all ten GM Local Authority Social Care Systems and partner organisations. This will include providing expert advice, information and guidance to project teams on embedding coproduction approaches; establishing and supporting a lived experience steering group for our Shared Lives project, supporting the recruitment and development of PWLE representatives, and fostering inclusive, accessible opportunities for their involvement; and leading on a Community Research project to ensure lived experience voices shape the evaluation and subsequent recommendations.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Coproduction Support

• Provide specialist information, guidance, and support about service user/carer engagement and involvement to Adult Social Care staff, partners and stakeholders across a range of services and departments in Greater Manchester, either individually to project teams or in our established GM Carers Leads meetings.

• Provide and signpost to best practice tools and resources to support project teams with their coproduction initiatives.

• Compile and share case studies showcasing examples of best practice in coproduction across the ARF consortium to facilitate learning and improvement.

• Maintain records and data and provide regular monitoring reports on outcomes, including end of project evaluation report. Lived Experience Steering group management.

• Set up and provide ongoing management of a new Lived Experience Steering Group consisting of people with lived experience of Shared Lives across GM (carers and service users) ensuring the underpinning principles of coproduction are explained and embedded.

• Manage the recruitment and support of specific members for any additional opportunities.

• Identify and, wherever possible, remove barriers to member participation including but not limited to travel, childcare, carer responsibilities and/or translation costs.

• Ensure Lived Experience Representatives receive inductions and training suitable for their level of engagement and ensure they are properly off boarded when their involvement ends.

• Coordinate regular meetings and events via a hybrid approach of face-to-face and virtual.

• Liaise and collaborate with our external creative agency partner who are leading on the delivery of the Communications and Marketing Campaign for Shared Lives.

• Collaborate with the ARF infrastructure support team (Senior Project Manager and Project Administrator) and relevant ARF subgroups to ensure work is joined up and seamless and feedback loops between the various groups are closed.

• Assist Lived Experience Representatives to capture their experiences into their CV’s or find opportunities in the community where people with lived experience are needed to help develop services, creating links with Gaddum’s Coproduction Management Committee where relevant.

The Role

This is an exciting role joining a Programme Team of 15 staff based throughout the UK. You will work closely and collaborate with the other Network Managers and share some priorities across regions, working to develop the region as a whole. The purpose of this role is to facilitate good relationships between the mentors and mentees in the region. 70-80% of the role is about relationship building (with schools, mentors and partners), coordination and the tracking/ administration of those relationships. 15-20% of the role is direct delivery with the girls in the region.

Mentoring programme

• Manage overall success of the cohorts (groups of mentees and mentors) in your region, including coordinating and administering events and communications for cohorts in your area.
• Deliver engaging on-boarding sessions for mentees.
• Design and deliver events and workshops for mentees.
• Deliver matching of mentees and mentors at in-person events or virtually.
• Work with the wider programme team to train mentors.
• Support mentors once matched through regular check-ins, monthly emails and ad-hoc conversations.
• Collect data to track the progress, and impact of, mentoring relationships.
• Support mentors with safeguarding concerns, following The Girls’ Network process in line with our child protection policy.
• Develop effective relationships with schools, on-boarding, supporting and retaining the partnerships.

This role will be leading and developing the Volunteering and Employability functions for FSSW, alongside providing operational safeguarding support to the Safeguarding Team. The core volunteer program supports the running of the organisation as a whole every day and is embedded across all departments in Bristol and Plymouth. The Employability team runs a NEET Employability programme in our South Bristol warehouse 3 days a week, with administrative duties full time. This part of FSSW is expanding and your role will oversee the pilot and launch of another Employability programme in Plymouth.

In this role you will:

1.Be the senior management overseeing and supporting the running of our employability and volunteering functions across Bristol and Plymouth.

2. Support the organisation as the Operational Safeguarding Lead, working alongside the Strategic lead to oversee incidents and support the training and development of staff.

3. Lead on project development across both volunteering and employability as we grow our offer and launch a number of major organisational developments. This will include but is not limited to; policy, strategy, role and process development.

4. Build and work with our volunteer, employability and warehouse teams to ensure that they have the skills, knowledge, support and training opportunities needed to manage the volunteer workforce and deliver the employability programs across the charity.

Line Management:

Volunteer Recruitment, Retention & Development:

· Oversee the volunteer managers who run the day-to-day of the volunteer programme

About the role

We are looking to recruit a Youth Outreach Worker in London for a new role within our UK Safeguarding on Transport Programme. This is a 12-month outreach pilot engaging and safeguarding young people in and around Waterloo Station, helping identify and safeguard young people under 18 years at risk of criminal and sexual exploitation, county lines, missing from home, homelessness or family breakdown. This role does involve working regular unsociable hours including evenings and weekends.
