Job Purpose
Coordinate delivery of the BELIEVE programme, managing interns and supporting school-based climate action projects. Ensure effective communication across partners, assist with monitoring and evaluation, and maintain strong operational systems. Play a central role in day-to-day coordination, enabling high-quality delivery of youth-led and community-focused climate initiatives.

The BELIEVE project
Believe in Climate Action (BELIEVE) is an ambitious and innovative national programme led by the Faith & Belief Forum in partnership with the Cambridge Interfaith Programme. Together, we are building a bold new model for climate action, one that connects grassroots communities, young leaders, researchers and policymakers through collaboration, co-learning and shared purpose.
At its core, BELIEVE recognises that climate change is not only a scientific or political challenge, but a deeply human one. By bringing faith and belief perspectives into climate conversations, the programme challenges narratives of fatalism and opens up new, values-led pathways for action, rooted in care, responsibility and collective agency.

Key responsibilities
· Coordinate the day-to-day delivery of the BELIEVE programme across multiple regions
· Line manage and support youth interns, including onboarding, supervision and ongoing development
· Coordinate school-based climate action projects, ensuring strong communication between schools, interns and partner organisations
· Maintain effective systems for planning, tracking and reporting programme activity
· Support the delivery of workshops, events and knowledge-exchange activities
· Assist with monitoring, evaluation and learning processes, including data collection and reporting

Person Specification
Essential
· Experience in a coordination or programme support role, ideally within a multi-partner project
· Experience working with young people, education settings or community-based programmes
· Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, as well as being detail oriented.
· Excellent communication and relationship management skills
· Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with diverse stakeholders

Key Responsibilities
Programme leadership & delivery
· Lead the strategic and operational delivery of BELIEVE across its three interlinked workstreams
· Ensure effective planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of a multi-year national programme
· Manage programme timelines, budgets, reporting and risk
Stakeholder engagement & partnerships
· Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-sector stakeholders, including schools, community organisations, funders, academic partners and policymakers

· Convene and facilitate high-level stakeholder spaces, including national workshops and knowledge-exchange forums
Team & youth leadership oversight

· Oversee delivery of the youth leadership strand, including internship programmes and youth-led climate action projects
Strategy, learning & influence
· Design internal evaluation frameworks and processes, in collaboration with University of Cambridge academics
· Translate research, learning and evaluation into programme development, communications and external influence

· Responsible for delivery, and ensuring programme outputs (reports, toolkits, events, digital platforms) are high-quality and impactful
Manage 2 teams of ParliaMentors students
· Support with delivery of the ParliaMentors programme, including facilitating workshops, having meetings with students, organising the logistics for various events throughout the year
· Mentor and support two teams of students at two universities as they work together to deliver a social action project
· Contributing to communications for the programme on social media, LinkedIn, and newsletters
· Support with delivering trainings for university staff
Person Specification
Essential Experience
· Significant experience managing complex, multi-partner programmes (ideally national or multi-regional)
· Demonstrable expertise in stakeholder engagement at a senior level, including building and maintaining strong partnerships across sectors
· Strong track record of delivering complex programmes on time and within budget
· Confidence and proven experience in line management (this role will line manage 1 Project Coordinator, and oversee an internship programme of up to 8 paid interns per year)
· Strong financial management skills, and experience managing large budgets (this role will be responsible for financial management of the BELIEVE project, and reporting to funders)
· Strong experience and understanding of Safeguarding, in charities and/ or school settings

The Role
The Careers Advisers will cover one or more of the following regions: Medway, West Kent and Mid Kent to a broad range of school and college settings, delivering creative and inclusive Personal Careers Guidance, as well as assemblies and drop-in sessions as required.
Each student and each learning environment will be unique, so the opportunity lends itself well to candidates who enjoy traveling and working in varied locations, meeting people from diverse backgrounds, and educating people of all abilities.
You will routinely liaise with Careers Leaders and senior school/ college staff to arrange and deliver activities for students during the school day. Whilst most delivery will take place between 8:30am and 4pm, travel before and after these times will be required and occasional attendance at parents’ and options evenings will also be required, but you will be given time off in lieu where this is applicable.
We would require you to work five days-a-week, term time only, with a pro rata holiday entitlement. If you would prefer part-time only employment (minimum of three days a week), this can be negotiated.

There are two parts to the Primary Science Mentor role. The majority of the role will focus on strengthening primary science teaching and leadership by leading our third Priority Areas initiative in North-West England. Through their knowledge of and passion for primary science education, the successful candidate will inspire transformational change in schools taking part in this project. They will build close working relationships with participating schools and create a vibrant and exciting learning community based on mutual support and the sharing of expertise.
The remaining hours in the role will be as a Primary Science Mentor: joining PSTT’s growing team of primary science experts who provide bespoke support directly to individual schools, multi-academy trusts and other school groupings and organisations. This is a pivotal position designed to transform our capacity to provide professional social and emotional support through mentoring. About the Giving Directorate and Net Zero Carbon Programme

The Giving Directorate plays a vital role in equipping dioceses, parishes, and clergy with the tools and confidence to encourage generosity. Through strategic leadership, innovative resources, and collaborative partnerships, we aim to inspire giving that enables the Church to flourish in every community. We lead major funded projects that strengthen giving across the Church, ensuring that generosity is central to mission and ministry.
The Giving Directorate has four teams: Innovation & Insight (leading on innovations, the parish share project, data analysis and marketing); Parish Giving Scheme (giving mechanisms and technology); NZC Fundraising (including policy, philanthropy and gifts in wills) and Learning & Development (delivering training, mentoring, and equipping clergy and diocesan giving advisors, national and regional conferences, and developing online learning resources for parishes).
You will sit within the Net Zero Carbon Fundraising team which leads the strategy to coordinate and support the plans being developed by our dioceses, churches, cathedrals, schools, and departments to secure the significant additional funding needed to decarbonise the Church of England.
What you'll be doing
Legacies have historically played a transformative role for the Church of England - sustaining parish ministry, helping deliver the 30,000+ community projects run by parishes every year, conserving historic buildings and enabling important work for the future, including Net Zero Carbon projects. There is significant untapped potential for legacy giving to make an even bigger difference to our work, but awareness is uneven, and local church leaders often lack the training and resources to talk confidently about gifts in wills.
As the Gifts in Wills Manager, you will lead an ambitious new legacy programme to significantly expand the support and resources available for all parts of the Church of England to effectively encourage legacy giving. This will include creating new legacy giving resources that can be used by parishes, cathedrals and Dioceses as well as new training for local parish volunteers, clergy and senior leaders.
Gifts in wills have the potential for significantly enhancing the work of the church in caring for God's creation, being the culmination of a person's lifetime of commitment and care for the church and God's creation. The role will include specifically looking to develop NZC cases for support as a way to encourage gifts in wills, through linking the ongoing and perpetual care of God's creation with the long term impact of gifts in wills.
Through your work you will create a culture shift where legacy giving is demystified to become a natural part of Christian discipleship. The increased number and generosity of legacy gifts pledged and received will make a long-lasting impact on the financial ability of parishes, cathedrals, and dioceses to fund their ministry and social impact in the communities they serve.
