About the role

What you'll do
- Lead the creative development, design and production of high-quality, impactful marketing and communications materials across print, digital, photography and video channels for the Charity
- Be an active and influential member of the core Brand Refresh project group, delivering the project to time and budget, strengthening brand awareness, consistency and impact.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Fundraising, Marketing and Digital teams to produce effective marketing and communications which meet audience objectives, interpreting briefs and deliver creative solutions that achieve campaign objectives.
- Lead creative concepts from initial brief through to final delivery, presenting ideas confidently to stakeholders and translating feedback into exceptional outputs. Develop efficient creative briefing and workflow processes that support excellent project delivery.
- Run weekly design clinics to review all business as usual design and video outputs.
- Manage and develop the creative team, including the Designer and Video Producer, providing leadership, coaching and support.
About you
We're looking for a creative leader who combines outstanding design expertise with strong project management and people skills.
You'll bring:
- Significant experience developing and delivering high-quality creative campaigns and marketing communications.
- Experience leading creative projects from concept through to implementation and review.

What you’ll be doing
As a Senior Policy and Advocacy Manager, you will lead the development and drafting of River Action’s overall policy strategy as well as leading on specific policy areas. You will play a leading role in shaping and advancing River Action’s political and policy influence, working closely with the Senior Management Team, Chief Executive and wider organisation to develop and execute an impactful policy and advocacy strategy.
River Action is the Co-Secretariat for the APPG on Water Pollution, offering our Policy and Advocacy Manager a unique opportunity to shape the policy direction for River Action and also to influence policy development across Parliament.
You will also work closely with our public affairs agency who manage our daily Westminster activities.
You will:

- Lead the development of management dashboards and KPI reporting across the organisation.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- You'll be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with a track record of turning financial data into strategic insight.
- Equally comfortable partnering with senior leaders as leading a talented finance team, you'll bring expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and performance reporting, alongside excellent communication skills and a drive to improve systems, processes and decision-making.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
- Experience of Power BI and ERP systems would be welcomed but is not essential.
- Experience in the arts/charity sector, or the entertainment/hospitality world would be beneficial

An international membership organisation is seeking a Finance Manager to join on an interim basis for a 9-month contract.
The successful candidate will play a key role in safeguarding the organisation's financial health through high-quality financial management, business partnering, planning and analysis. This is a broad role offering exposure across management accounting, budgeting, financial modelling, payroll oversight, governance and continuous improvement.
Reporting to the Senior Finance & Risk Manager, you'll work closely with budget holders and senior leaders, providing financial insight and challenge to support strategic decision-making while helping to strengthen financial controls and improve organisational performance.
Key responsibilities are as follows:
- Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial reporting and performance analysis.
- Coordinate annual budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes across the organisation.
- Develop financial models, scenario analysis and cashflow forecasts to support strategic planning.
- Partner with budget holders, providing financial guidance, challenge and decision support.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and KPIs, investigating variances and identifying trends.
- Produce insightful monthly, quarterly and annual management reports for senior leadership.
- Support the preparation of statutory accounts and annual audit processes.
- Oversee payroll processes and liaise with external payroll providers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Support the development and enhancement of financial controls, governance frameworks and risk management processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial systems, reporting and operational efficiency through automation and process improvements.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, banking partners and service providers.
You will:
- Be a fully qualified accountant or with significant QBE experience
- Have strong experience in management accounting, FP&A, business partnering or finance management.
- Have experience leading budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes.
- Be confident developing financial models and providing commercial insight to support strategic decision-making.
- Have excellent analytical skills with the ability to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
- Have experience supporting external audits and maintaining strong financial controls.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to improving financial processes, systems and governance.
- Be highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively across the organisation.
