About the Role

The Donor Relations Officer is a pivotal position within the Donor Relations team. It works across the entire development function to ensure the strategic planning, organisation, and implementation of integral donor recognition, thanking, and stewardship projects. It also supports some Development and Alumni Engagement events.

The post holder will regularly liaise with donors, prospects, alumni, and senior members of the University community.

The Donor Relations Officer is a responsible and rewarding position in an exciting and fast-paced environment that will suit an experienced project officer. We are currently recruiting for a versatile Health, Safety and Facilities Manager to join our Infrastructure Services team, to cover maternity leave. 

As our Health, Safety and Facilities Manager you will provide efficient facilities management and Health & Safety services to and for Friends of the Earth’s offices, workspaces, staff and volunteers. 

We are looking for someone with experience of a broad range of facilities management across multiple sites and the ability to communicate effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds and with different needs.

Entry level Health and Safety qualification or working towards this is essential along with up-to-date knowledge of current legislation and experience of carrying out assessments. 

Key Skills and Attributes:  

• Practical experience of a broad range of facilities work, including Hard and Soft Facilities matters across multiple sites. 

• Management of third parties’ contractors hired to complete facilities tasks, using method statements, risk assessments and a permit to work scheme. 

• Proven experience of improving supplier value through contract review, market research and contract negotiation 

• Entry level Health and Safety qualification (IOSH Managing Safely Certificate or similar) and working towards NEBOSH qualification, with up-to-date knowledge of current legislation and experience of carrying out Risk Assessments, DSE Assessments, etc. 

• Experience of communicating effectively and building strong relationships with people from a variety of backgrounds and with different needs, both individually and in groups, and working with sometimes challenging clients. 

• Ability to safely perform equipment installation/elementary repair work and manage/assist in the movement of office apparatus.

Special working conditions  

• This role is a key holder for our offices, and the holder must be prepared to be on call in the event of an emergency.

Working closely with and managing the Facilities Assistant, you will ensure Friends of the Earth meets the required Health and Safety standards. You will be part of our vital Infrastructure team, sitting within the Finance and Operations Directorate.

Responsible for the day to day running of the Financial Control department, and line managing two Senior Finance Assistants and two Finance Assistants.

Responsible for group reporting requirements for branches and subsidiaries, including assisting with their opening and closing.

Support the stewardship of the finances of ITF Group, including fixed assets, investments and banking. This includes processing and recognising transactions, maintaining schedules, reporting requirements, forecasting cash requirements and liaising with advisors.

Facilitate receipts, payments and expense claims, including checking of expense claims, and checking and recording regional office transactions in ITF Group accounts. Collaborate with and support teams responsible for different income streams, and process transactions on credit cards and prepaid cards, including issuing and closing of cards.

Responsible for employee and employer tax matters for benefits-in-kind that are identified in invoices or expense claims, including preparing the PAYE Settlement Agreement.

Responsible for statutory and regulatory calculations, reports and filing, including Certification Office, Companies House, corporation tax, VAT, gift aid and other taxes, levies, charges and duties.

Prepare for and assist the external audit, and year-end and monthly accounts, and complete allocated balance sheet reconciliations.

Establish and provide appropriate policies and processes to ensure compliance and to meet defined deadlines.

Lead the operational team, systems and initiatives that enable ITF to deliver high-performing, values-led services. Ensure effective planning, delivery and improvement of the organisational function. ABOUT YOU 

We are looking for a highly numerate and organised individual with a strong ethical approach. The ideal candidate will have:

Essential criteria:

• Substantial experience: A professional accounting qualification (CCAB or CIMA) with a proven track record in a senior finance role.
• Leadership: Proven experience in managing and leading a team.
• Technical accounting expertise: Hands-on experience preparing annual reports and financial statements, with a solid knowledge of accounting standards and HMRC requirements.
• Audit experience: Direct experience of being audited by external financial auditors.

A key leadership position in the UK, responsible for leading a dynamic and talented team who delivers the highest standards of operational support to WaterAiders in country. Team Leadership

• Drive the importance of data and people analytics and create a culture of data-based decision-making and insight across the team.
• Ownership of maintaining the monthly UK headcount establishment data with key stakeholders in Finance.
• Annual analysis and statutory reporting of the Pay Gap in the UK.

Compliance and Contract Management

• Act as the UK Team specialist on areas of HR compliance, working with 3rd parties and specialist advisors, to ensure that our policies, processes and practices are compliant and meet legal requirements.
• Responsible for data protection in the People Team, provide senior expertise and build capability across the wider people function.

Other

• Ownership of salary calculations in the event of employee termination and/or redundancy.
• Monthly payroll and pension sign off.
• Budget management and invoice approval.

Requirements

To be successful, you will need:

Functional skills

• Proven experience in leading, managing and developing a high-performing people operations team in a matrix, fast-paced organisation.
• Proven experience in managing and running in-house payroll for at least 250 staff or more.
• Excellent understanding of HR policy development; and proven experience in developing and embedding HR policies, processes and procedures that are fit for purpose.
• A qualified and robust HR Practitioner who has sound and up-to-date knowledge of employment law, tax and legislative requirements affecting a wide spectrum of HR policies and practice, i.e. payroll, pension, reward and benefits, together with their application in the context of the employee experience.
• Working knowledge and experience of HR and Payroll systems, to maximise the functionality and create efficiencies.
• Demonstrate project management capability.
• Proven experience in contract management and managing a wide range of third-party service providers.

About the role

Reporting in to the Global Head of Programme Policy and Practice, the Programme & Partnerships Lead is pivotal to the design and impact success of signature programmes. It works closely with Multi Country Clusters (MCC) to do so, including the design of MEAL frameworks to support monitoring and evidence capture. 

Working with MCC leadership the post-holder will identify areas for support and make appropriate links with enabling functions. Across MCC programme portfolios this role will provide support to ensure a coherent application of our partnership principles and alignment with organisational values and goals. 

The role provides leadership to the team which includes MEAL, a Programme Portfolio Advisor, and a Civil Society and Faith specialist to help deliver high-impact programmes with an emphasis on decolonial approaches and methodologies. The role will provide specific support to the development of Christian Aid’s faith based partnerships.

The role spearheads localisation and CSO approach as an underpinning ethos of the new organisational mode.

Some of the main responsibilities of the Programme & Partnerships Lead include:

• Inspire and motivate the team and colleagues in the Programme Policy and Practice division to support MCC’s, to drive meaningful impact.
• Work across Departments to support the design of signature programmes, including building connections across the MCCs, developing an appropriate MEAL framework and ensuring effective reporting and links to Organisational Effectiveness.
• Work with the Global MEAL Advisor and Organisational Effectiveness Department to commission internal and external impact evaluations and research for signature programmes and the wider unrestricted funding portfolio; this will include a focus on decolonial approaches to evaluation.
• With an emphasis on signature programmes work with IPE and MCCs to identify opportunities for the further development of signature programmes.
• Ensure processes and guardrails are in place to support the strategic allocation of resources to MCCs.
• Develop and maintains strong cross sector and internal relationships that fosters cross-functional consensus.
• Collaborate with MCC staff to develop and communicate a clear picture of Christian Aid’s programmatic portfolio, and of delivery of organisational impact that aligns to organisational values and goals

We’re recruiting an Advice & Triage Service Manager to lead Norwood’s new Advice Triage Service (Open Front Door), a flagship access point for families, professionals, and community partners seeking advice and guidance across children’s and adult social care.  This is a key leadership role overseeing the service’s launch, growth and delivery, with responsibility for operational performance, stakeholder engagement and service innovation. 

You’ll build and lead a committed triage team, align referral pathways across Norwood’s services, and work closely with external partners across the Jewish community and statutory sectors.  This role offers a unique opportunity to shape a model that puts accessibility and cultural sensitivity at the centre of how families seek support.

Your Day-to-Day

As Advice & Triage Service Manager you’ll:

• Deliver: establish and embed the Advice Triage (OFD) model for public launch in March 2026
• Lead: recruit, manage and motivate a multi-disciplinary team including triage workers, referrals staff, and reception
• Develop processes: create triage protocols, safeguarding and referral procedures, and escalation frameworks
• Be client focused: oversee a first class inbound query management across all contact channels
• Champion collaboration: coordinate referral pathways with   key partners, and build strategic relationships with schools, synagogues, charities and LA/NHS services
• Design: manage the design and population of an online service directory
• Turn up the volume: work with communication and engagement teams to promote the service
• Ensure great customer service: oversee the development and rollout of a CRM system
• Analyse and evaluate: lead service evaluation, report to senior leadership  and funders, and embed co-production in service design

Qualifications, Training and Experience

Essential:

• Relevant degree in Social Work, Health, Education, or Management; And/or Leadership or project management qualification
• 3+ years’ experience in social care, education, or advice services
• Proven ability to lead services, manage teams, and deliver change
• Strong knowledge of referral systems across the voluntary and statutory sectors
• Sound safeguarding knowledge
• Excellent stakeholder, communication and CRM skills

Desirable:

• Knowledge of the Jewish community and culturally specific services
• Experience setting up a helpline, triage service or call centre
• Familiarity with neurodivergent support needs and transitions
• Experience developing service directories or digital tools

Citizens Advice 1066 is looking for an organized and capable Project Manager to oversee the delivery of our advice initiatives, focusing primarily, but not exclusively, on our energy service. This role is essential for ensuring our projects meet their charitable goals in Hastings, Rother, and the surrounding areas.

What You'll Be Doing: Project Oversight and Delivery

You will manage the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects, ensuring they run efficiently, meet targets, and adhere to our quality standards and organizational values. This is a practical management role requiring attention to detail and good communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure effective setup: Establish all necessary processes, IT systems, and regular meetings required for successful project delivery.

• General Tasks: Carry out other project-related tasks as required to maintain smooth operations.

Camp Jojo is a small/medium, but growing charity with a committed team of Trustees, Special Advisors, and Volunteers. This is a chance to contribute to a dynamic organisation and work in a supportive environment. In particular, Camp Jojo’s extension of its work to Nags Head Farm, Appleby, Cumbria, is new; with Open Days held in 2025, and the first camps to be held in August 2026.

The holder of this post will be critical to this development; working to establish a sister site in Cumbria to Ivy Farm on Mersea island, Essex, with a well tried and tested model of operations. The role of Nags Head Farm: Operations Manager (Families and Site Ops) is to offer leadership and administrative support to key functions of Camp Jojo at Nags Head Farm, and to members of the Camp Jojo Board, in relation to the camps held at Nags Head Farm.

The Contractor will handle clerical and logistics tasks for the organisation in a timely and efficient way. The primary task of the Nags Head Farm: Operations Manager will be to oversee family applications to the camps, and to maintain and develop data bases in support of this. They will hold a key role in relation to communications with the families pre-, during, and post-camps. In addition, they will attend and minute meetings, and contribute to camp operations in planning etc. They may need to work flexibly, according to the seasonal demands of the charity.

They will attend the first day (Friday) of each camp The Nags Head Farm: Operations Manager will have a varied and sometimes high-pace job environment. As such, they will need to handle multiple tasks, manage their own time well, interact professionally with the wider Camp Jojo community, and be very good communicators.

Hillside Clubhouse is a coproduced mental health charity based in Islington that works collaboratively with people with mental health conditions across Islington. We work with people wherever they are in their Recovery journey, supporting those with long-term and enduring conditions such as personality disorder and schizophrenia and people with more common mental health conditions like depression and anxiety.

• Lead and support a busy team of debt advisers, ensuring advice is accurate, effective, and compliant with FCA and sector standards

About you:
You’ll bring at least 5 years’ experience of delivering debt advice and managing caseloads, together with a specialist debt advice qualification (or the drive to complete one). You’ll be confident managing a team, balancing priorities, and ensuring services meet the highest quality standards. Strong communication, data, and organisational skills are essential.

About the role

CARE International UK is looking for a Programme Officer to provide administrative support within our Programme and Policy Department.
