Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a creative talent, with excellent attention to detail. With a focus on regularly producing high quality video edits, written content and editing and curating compelling photographs, you must be highly proficient in Adobe creative suite and be able to demonstrate excellent copywriting / scriptwriting skills. You will also be a great relationship manager – particularly working closely with our operations team and operations partners.
It is also a requirement of this role to have a working knowledge of Premier Pro, Indesign, Photoshop and After Effects. With a strong creative approach, you’ll be able to pick up new ideas and concepts. The role will work across all content disciplines with a particular focus on the brand and helping others to make content effectively within brand guidelines.
The successful candidate will have experience in practical photography and film. You will need to be able to confidently pick up a camera and capture ShelterBox footage as well as being a passionate and proficient editor. This role will be required to deploy in both major disasters and pro-active content trips in the field and the UK – gathering content themselves and supporting external freelancers – once the necessary pre-deployment training has been completed and our teams are safe to travel again.

- Help support and train the wider organisation to effectively create content within ShelterBox brand guidelines.

- Develop and deliver quality content training (online and in-person) for ShelterBox staff, ShelterBox Response Teams and partners (within GDPR, consent and ethical guidelines).

- Deliver content projects from initial briefing through to final concept working with teams across the organisation.
- Support the team to provide content for digital channels – working to weekly/fortnightly editorial meeting outcomes.

About the role

Over the past fifty years we have helped over 30,000 isolated, homeless young people struggling with family breakdown, school exclusion, poor mental health and drug and alcohol dependencies.
The Director of Housing and Youth Services is a newly established role and you will be joining us at an incredible moment in our history.
We recently completed a merger (October 2020) and we operate services across six London Boroughs and the City of London. Further to this, City YMCA London are on the cusp of opening a brand new, flagship centre for homeless young people called LandAid House.
Our LandAid House site is due to complete by Spring 2021 and will offer the opportunity for 146 young people to move off the streets and sofa’s and into a safe place they can call home. As Director of Housing and Youth Services you will lead the strategic development and operational management of housing services across 5 sites, including the new flagship provision at LandAid House. Your initial focus will be on bringing together staff, systems, and services to create a unified team within the merged organisation.
Crucially, your role will be to lead the strategic development and operational management of youth work, ensuring maximising of synergies between housing and youth with the shared focus on supporting young people to create a future of their own choosing.
As a member of the Executive Team you will also have the opportunity to contribute to our wider strategic development and to help us seize future development and growth opportunities.

For a large, complex organisation, we are recruiting an interim Head of Finance Transformation for up to 12 months to deliver a first-class Finance function and transform the finance service delivery model. Reporting to the CFO, this role will lead the transformation change project to reshape the Finance division, realise the benefits of the implementation of a new finance system and improve system effectiveness. Main Duties:

Person Specification:
- CCAB Qualified with experience of leading and delivering large-scale finance change and transformation programmes

- Experience of working in a challenging project environment having project managed people and cultural change
- Delivering process efficiency
- Substantial experience of building effective networks and collaborative working relationships, influencing at senior leadership level
- Knowledge or organisational change methodologies and how to assess and use OD diagnostic tools

This is a unique time for CRUK - we are establishing an in-house creative team for the first time by bringing together existing expertise across the organisation. We are looking for a Senior Creative Producer who can help make this happen. Working alongside the new Head of Creative, you will lead the creative production function helping lay the foundations for a new culture of creativity at CRUK.
You're going to oversee the in-house production unit made up of video producers, photography and AV management professionals. The unit has a wide remit and needs a proficient creative leader to unite the team, set a vision and strategy and help build the capability and skills to deliver it. Collaboration will be at the heart of what you do. You'll be working with colleagues from across the organisation, leadership and external agencies to drive a strategic shift for the organisation.
If you have experience of working on production units in fast-paced complex organisations with a purpose driven remit this may be the role for you. This is a brand-new role, and we're looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
Minimum Criteria:
Significant experience in producing video content for a charity or a cause-driven organisation including experience of delivering content to broadcast specifications and editorial requirements
Relevant experience of leading and delivering through a team; line managing, inspiring and motivating them creatively and delegating where necessary
Relevant experience in operationally managing a team, implementing process, systems and standards and looking for opportunity to improve efficiency
Strong knowledge of brand strategy, style and tone of voice and demonstrable experience of adapting and integrating brand messaging creative and content outputs
Highly proficient in production and editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro CC, Final Cut Pro X, After Effects) including adding music, sound, voice over, visual effects and colour grading
Ideally, you'll also be a strong strategic thinker with long-term planning skills and significant experience of operationalising strategic plans.
