In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
Strategy, vision and impact [25%]
- Be at the forefront of leading Resurgo’s ‘big picture’ vision of a transformed society, empowering churches to transform young lives
- Build and implement a strategy for developing relationships with local referral agencies to ensure effective recruitment of young people onto the Spear programme
- Oversee the reporting of the Centre outcomes and ensure the Spear Programme is delivered in line with agreed targets
Leadership, line management and training [25%]
- Lead your team with confidence; spurring them on in Resurgo’s mission; invest in a team culture of excellence, belonging and fun
- Manage and develop the Lead Coach and Graduate Coach, using a coaching approach to invest in their growth and development. This includes weekly 1:1s, performance reviews and regular feedback
- Equip your team to drive change through a data informed approach, and keep them accountable to agreed targets for the Spear Programme
Relationship management [20%]
- Manage great relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including referrers, local businesses, donors, and your Board of Trustees
- Embed into your local church; working closely with your Spear Trustees and congregation, and actively participating in their mission and events
- Partner with the Spear Trustees and assist in implementing their funding strategy by helping to build corporate and donor relationships. For example, by hosting prospective donors in the Training Room
Delivery of the Spear Programme [20%]
- Support group and 1-1 coaching with numerous 16-24-year-olds: equipping them with practical work-ready skills and resilient mindsets
- Provide guidance to the Lead Coach in the training room when dealing with behavioural and safeguarding situations and upskill coaches with consistent coaching feedback
- Use a coaching approach to engage young people in challenging conversations that will enable them to take responsibility and over significant barriers to employment
Operations [10%]
- Liaise with relevant staff regarding site operations and work to resolve any issues as soon as possible, ensuring the office and training room are safe and tidy working spaces in line with health and safety policies

Role Overview:

New Horizon Youth Centre runs a busy day centre from Monday to Friday, providing basic needs to young people experiencing homelessness and a one-stop-shop for housing advice, youth work activities, counselling, jobs, education and training support. The Services Manager (Day Centre) is a brand new role for the organisation. As Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will collaborate with the Head of Strategic Partnerships, New Business Manager and Senior Membership Officer. As part of their large and esteemed organisation, you’ll contribute to innovative projects that empower young women and girls worldwide, spanning five global regions. Their impactful programs encompass vital areas such as menstrual health and hygiene, STEM, gender-based violence, leadership and climate change.
This is a key role in a global team working with a range of experts and specialists with in-depth knowledge of both the global Girl Guiding Movement and the international development sector. You will focus on new business, generating income from new corporate partnerships that are aligned to WAGGGS’ vision and purpose.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and cultivate new corporate partnerships at five and six figure level supporting a team target of £1.7m.
- Develop creative and innovative funding propositions for corporate partners.
- Research and subsequent engagement and networking to identify potential strategic partners, including managing and maintaining pipeline.
- Represent the organisation and participate in external events (globally) to promote WAGGGS’ interests, brand, and mission.

Role Overview:
Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Customer Service Manager will be integral to the implementation, training, monitoring, and improvement of the new 5 Star Customer Service model being rolled out across all services within Enable – including but not limited to events, leisure facilities, an arts school, bereavement services, filming, health & wellbeing, parks and community development. The role will work closely with both Senior Management and operational staff to ensure that 5 Star Customer Service is at the heart of all interactions with our customers.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analyse customer feedback and data to identify areas for improvement
- Further develop and implement the 5-Star Customer Service strategy to improve customer interactions across multiple touchpoints and channels
- Design business-wide customer service processes, best practices, and KPIs to ensure consistent and exceptional service delivery across all Enable teams
- Develop and roll-out relevant training models
- Collaborate with all internal teams to align customer experience efforts with greater business goals and objectives

- Visit all services within Enable to assist with research, process implementation and relationship forming
The successful candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience in customer service, experience or management, preferably in a hospitality or Not-For-Profit background

As our High Value Engagement Manager, you'll be at the forefront of developing high- quality communication materials to engage donors and partners with our mission. Reporting directly to the Senior High Value Engagement Manager, you'll lead the charge in crafting persuasive narratives and producing captivating content that showcases our impact on children and communities. Your work will focus on fundraising priorities, including flexible funding streams and emergency appeals, allowing us to adapt and respond swiftly to the most pressing needs.

What will an average day look like?

- Lead strategic initiatives to support High Value Engagement and Partnerships & Philanthropy strategies.

- Create inspiring written communications tailored to high-value audiences, highlighting fundraising priorities and impactful stories.
- Develop timely fundraising materials to support priority asks, including emergency communications and high-priority proposals.
- Design professional materials using InDesign and develop engaging digital products such as scrolling stories, to enhance donor engagement.
- Collaborate with the Digital team to drive the development of new digital products and maximise their impact in connecting donors and partners to our work with children.
- Devise innovative strategies to engage donors and partners, leveraging insights from various teams and organisations.
- Provide writing, proofing, and editorial support, and proactively share best practice to ensure consistency in brand tone and messaging across all communications.
To be successful, it is important that you have:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a track record of producing high-quality, and persuasive communication materials that have succeeded in demonstrating impact and influenced an outcome.
- Ability to translate complex program information into compelling communications for diverse audiences.
