Head of Programmes is a key role with significant scope to grow as the charity evolves. You’ll lead on the day-to-day delivery of our programmes, including our largest single programme, Maths Circles: a small-group-based maths enrichment programme engaging talented young mathematicians nationwide. You will coordinate a large community of volunteers as well as our in-house team of part-time and freelance staff to deliver an excellent experience for students, parents, tutors and partners.

You will need to be genuinely enthusiastic about using our CRM and Google Sheets to track progress and excited about martialling the charity’s data to communicate clearly with colleagues, partners and trustees. You will take ownership of programme reporting and KPIs, using insights to identify and implement delivery improvements and demonstrate impact.

You will communicate regularly with our diverse community – including speaking directly to young people and parents to resolve issues, recruiting and training education professionals and meeting with partners to organise and manage projects. Beyond programme delivery, you’ll play a crucial part in fundraising, communications, recruitment and planning and will occasionally deputise for the Foundation Director in representing the charity externally.

• Lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of programme operations
• Drive impact by setting, monitoring and reporting on KPIs (e.g. attendance, retention, satisfaction) whilst sharing insights with partners and funders
• Coordinate and support a team of part-time staff, freelancers and delivery contractors

Founded in 2018, Sister System is a charitable organisation and an Open College Network (OCN) approved centre dedicated to empowering girls and young women aged 13-24 affected by the care system.

Responsibilities and Duties 

• Develop and implement a comprehensive multi-year fundraising strategy that encompasses diverse income streams, working collaboratively with senior leadership to coordinate efforts and maintain an up-to-date fundraising pipeline.

• Steward high-value relationships with trusts, foundations, and corporate partners while leading grant applications and proposals for six-figure funding opportunities.

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Individual Giving Appeals Officer, the Individual Giving Appeals Officer will deliver fundraising success during key moments like Christmas, Christian Aid Week and Emergency Appeals, focusing on maximising one-off donations. They will champion creativity to craft impactful campaigns, ensuring consistent, positive, and memorable interactions that align with organisational goals and values.

The post-holder will collaborate closely on key initiatives across stakeholders, supporting the Senior Individual Giving Appeals Officer to deliver the high-impact key appeals, hitting income targets while fostering meaningful connections with supporters.

Some of the main responsibilities of the Individual Giving Appeals Officer include:

• Collaborate with the Senior Individual Giving Appeals Officer to plan and deliver the high-profile annual Christmas appeal, aligning with organisational values and goals.

Role Purpose
This is a key role to oversee RDA UK’s approach to safeguarding, supporting senior management and working with external partners. This is crucial to maintain good practice, resources, quality and support to RDA Groups which includes driving RDA safeguarding training.

Specific Responsibilities
1. To ensure RDA UK has effective safeguarding practices:

• develop and deliver the action plan and ongoing objectives from the British Equestrian Federation (BEF) audit/ Framework Plan and RDA Safeguarding Action Plan

• continuous review of all safeguarding materials and resources, to ensure RDA UK’s Safeguarding policy and statutory obligations and expectations are met, including relevant actions following BEF Safeguarding Action Team (SAT) meetings

• manage requests for guidance from the RDA UK network, including concerns raised and reporting

• provide safeguarding case management, collaborating with the Membership Services Manager.

• work in collaboration with the RDA UK Designated Safeguarding Lead and other relevant RDA UK staff and volunteers to plan, deliver and review projects that improve outcomes for children and adults at risk, within the RDA UK network

• provide advice to the RDA UK team and working groups on safeguarding best practice, policies and requirements, including specific projects or events

• deal promptly with enquiries from RDA Groups concerning policies, procedures and training requirements and respond to feedback received

• maintain the safeguarding content on the ‘MyRDA’ website, ensuring it is current, clear and relevant

• provide guidance to RDA Groups signposting them to resources for disclosure checks

• develop and maintain safeguarding training materials, and coordinate the delivery of regular accredited courses and workshops (both tutor led and e-learning), in conjunction with RDA UK Trainers and relevant external bodies

• developing, maintaining and administering Safeguarding courses and materials

• support the Designated Safeguarding Lead to compile reports for the RDA UK Board, including case management data and analysis, updates and recommendations

• act as the Safeguarding Officer at the RDA National Training Centre, the RDA National Championships and other key events

2. To provide administrative support to the Membership Services Team as required.

The sessions will range from outdoor activities in green spaces to world of work experiences, creative projects, life skills and everything in between!  You won’t be sitting behind a screen every day, this is an active role which will involve frequent travel to Portsmouth and Southampton to deliver these exciting programmes, as well as programme visits and short residential trips. You will provide pastoral support for young people, helping them to apply their newly acquired skills to their progression into education or employment. However, it’s not all fun and games, keeping things on point means meticulously recording info and data about our programme participants, volunteers, and partners. It's all about making sure every step of their journey aligns perfectly with our funding contracts and has maximum impact for everyone involved.

Head of Individual Giving

We’re looking for an experienced and creative Head of Individual Giving to lead and grow our individual giving programme.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you’ll shape and deliver our individual giving strategy, overseeing the recruitment, retention and development of individual supporters. You’ll lead on our major appeals, including an annual national campaign to Catholic parishes across the UK.

You’ll also play a key role in developing new fundraising products, optimising donor journeys, and ensuring our CRM and data systems support excellent stewardship and insight-driven decision making. This is a senior position with significant scope to shape the programme and make your mark.

About You

We’re looking for a confident and strategic fundraiser with a strong grasp of individual giving and a collaborative approach. You’ll bring:

• Proven experience delivering successful individual giving or direct marketing campaigns in the charity sector
• Strong skills in supporter stewardship and donor retention
• Experience of managing budgets, teams and external suppliers

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day operational delivery of our website, email marketing, and digital assets. They will play a key role in user engagement, service promotion, and data-driven decision-making. They will manage and optimise our WordPress website and DotDigital email platform, ensuring all content aligns with brand and accessibility standards. The role will contribute to creative content development and campaign ideation, as well as tracking and reporting performance across channels to support the marketing manager with data-driven recommendations. This is a fixed term position for just about 2 years (end date to be confirmed at the offer stage)

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to take their first step into a Head of role, or an established manager looking to make more of an impact. You will report directly to the Director responsible for Corporate Services and work closely with the Chief Executive, Trustees and senior team.

You will take ownership of all areas of finance including planning, reporting, controls, systems and compliance. You will also provide leadership to the Hydropool and Maintenance Managers, ensuring safe, efficient and cost-effective operations.
