Key Responsibilities
Strategic
- Lead on the development and delivery of CFT’s corporate fundraising strategy, setting income targets and KPIs with the Director of Development
- Create compelling and innovative partnership opportunities for corporate supporters
- Contribute to the wider Development strategy and annual Business Plan
Fundraising & Relationship Building
- Meet the annual Corporate Development target, currently c£300,000, along with the support of the Development Officer
- Secure sponsorship for productions, seasons, and organisational priorities
- Identify, cultivate and convert new corporate supporters, building long-term, high-value relationships
- Devise and deliver tailored cultivation and pitching strategies, including for national brands
- Draft and negotiate contracts for all corporate partnerships
- Host cultivation events and support the Development Committee, Executive and senior managers in engaging prospective sponsors

JOB PURPOSE
We are looking for a creative, ambitious, and data-driven individual to join us as Senior Officer Digital Optimisation, specialising in UX/UI to lead on the development and delivery of UK for UNHCR’s testing and optimisation strategy to improve conversion rates and user experience online, including our website, donation pages, and various subdomains. The role reports to the Head of Digital Fundraising and manages all donation pages, digital testing and tracking, as well as a range of Google and optimisation products.
The primary purpose is to optimise digital performance through A/B testing across our websites and supporting teams to adopt and implement a test-and-learn framework in their digital channels to raise more funds for refugees.
An existing A/B testing roadmap has been developed and is ready for your input and ideas. However, testing and optimisation is not limited to fundraising and will aim to improve digital conversion and performance across teams, channels and platforms – playing a key part in UNHCR’s annual fundraising programme to enable UNHCR to deliver its vision of a world where every person forced to flee can build a better life.
You will work very closely with the digital fundraising team and wider Individual Giving team, as well as Communications and Philanthropy/ Corporate Partnership colleagues, our digital agency and international fundraising teams.

Role Responsibilities
- Develop and lead strategy for conversion rate optimisation, including the management of a testing roadmap to regularly execute A/B and multivariate tests and the use of new and existing technology, e.g. heatmapping to reduce friction rates and continuously improve and optimise conversions.
- Lead UX/UI across organisation, overseeing and implementing tests and analysis across teams to improve web experience and achieve required KPIs and objectives.
- Manage Google suite of tools and relevant relationships, ensuring everything is up to date and operating as necessary.
- Manage all donation pages and fundraising landing pages, building new pages, maintaining existing pages and closing pages; identify areas for improvement and work with relevant stakeholders to test and optimise.
- Utilise and manage suite of third-party platforms, e.g. Optimizely, Mouseflow, iRaiser, Sleeknote, Typeform to improve user experience and increase donations and conversions.
- Remain flexible and quickly respond to emergency situations, identifying fundraising opportunities and develop relevant comms and journeys as needed, collaborating with colleagues from across the organisation.
- Use data and insights to produce regular reports on performance against KPIs; use analytics to identify trends and optimise activities based on user behaviour.
- Manage and maintain vanity and tracking links across the organisation, utilising Google Tag Manager and UTMs to monitor performance and results.
- Stay up to date with digital best practices and technology, including sector trends, follow industry policies, including GDPR, PECR regulations, attending training and optimising plans accordingly.
- Stay up to date with issues affecting displaced communities, campaigns from international, content and reports from the field.

Essential Experience
- Experience of implementing and optimising digital marketing campaigns across channels, including paid and organic social, search and display; preferably within the charity sector.
- Experience of developing and delivering strategies for conversion rate optimisation and user experience/user interface.
- Experience of using digital channels for lead acquisition and conversion to grow income.
- Experience of measuring, evaluating and reporting on digital activity and performance across multiple channels and digital campaigns, paid and organic.

What is the overall purpose of the role?
At Youth Action Alliance (YAA), our mission is to support the personal and social development (their values, beliefs, ideas and skills) of the young people living in Kensington and Chelsea, enabling them to increase their resilience and skills in the present and promote their ambitions for the future.

We’re looking for a creative and confident Content & Communications Coordinator to join our busy Digital and Marketing team at Imperial College Union. We are looking for an exceptional fundraiser with significant experience in successfully fundraising from trusts and foundations as well as governments.
The Senior Officer – Statutory & Foundations will join a highly collaborative, supportive and ambitious Development Team and will play a key role in sustaining and growing income from trusts & foundations as well as governments. The ideal candidate will be able to work in close collaboration with Senior staff across the organisation to identify and strategize responses to grant opportunities turning complex issues into clear and persuasive proposals. The Senior Officer – Statutory & Foundations will also be responsible for initiating, developing and deepening relationships with a global roster of trusts and foundations in support of TRAFFIC’s strategic priorities, primarily focusing on six-, seven- and eight figure opportunities.
This is a diverse role with key responsibility for the delivery of TRAFFIC’s global fundraising strategy and income streams. About the role
You will launch and lead our major giving fundraising, with the scope to design and implement a strategy that secures five and six figure gifts, while also embedding the systems and practices that underpin a sustainable programme. You’ll have access to the CEO and Board of Trustees, and we’ll also tailor a package of support around you to ensure you can thrive and grow alongside the programme you’ll build.
Initial targets are achievable and grounded in our current situation, and there is room for these to grow ambitiously. As senior communications manager, you’ll set direction for our communications, creating content, build relationships, and bring our impact stories to life as well as being responsible for managing all our communications day-to-day. You’ll work closely with programme teams, funders, and partners to ensure Heard’s work is visible and accessible.
Whilst you will work with all of our five programme teams, a majority of your time will focus on our climate programme. You don’t need to be a climate expert but have an awareness of TV and and foster partnerships with media to transform how climate is seen and felt on screen by helping the team develop impactful climate and health story case studies to fulfill our mission of changing hearts and minds.

OVERVIEW
- Job type: 18-month fixed-term contract (potential to extend, subject to funding)
- Days: 0.8 full-time equivalent (FTE) – totalling 25.6 hours per week* not including breaks (Mon – Thurs).
- We will consider 0.6 or 0.7 FTE to allow more flexibility for the right candidate.
- Pay: £42,510 (per annum pro rata – so for 0.8 FTE this works out as £34,010)
- Staff Benefits: 7.5% pension contribution, generous holiday leave, birthday leave, Christmas leave plus bank holidays, annual training budget, mentoring, and hybrid working.
- Reporting to: co-ceos (Sophie Hobson and Nathalie McDermott)
- Based at: London-based / hybrid.
- Working at least 2 days a week in the office, one of which is a Tuesday.
- Our office is on Cambridge Heath Road, London, E2 9DA.
*Heard is trialling the Four-Day Week as part of our commitment to well-being, sustainability and effectiveness. This means our full-time equivalent has reduced from 35 to 32 hours, spread Mon – Thurs. Our trustees will review whether to permanently adopt Four-Day Week in early 2026, at which point we will work carefully with all our team to ensure all work patterns are sustainable for them, regardless of the decision.
