Background
Healthwatch North Northamptonshire is one of more than 150 local Healthwatch formed in response to the Health and Social Care Act 2012. Healthwatch represents the views and experiences of local people and help communities to exercise greater choice over the services they receive.
Healthwatch North Northamptonshire will champion the health and social care needs of our communities, acting as an independent local voice and ensuring that services meet the needs of our communities and remain high quality.
Our vision is to inspire positive change in North Northamptonshire’s health and social care service through effective community engagement and ensure people and communities have a strong voice to influence and challenge how health and social care services are provided.
We hope to ensure that Healthwatch North Northants has a strong presence, with an effective, proactive and independent local voice. We act as a ‘critical friend’ to the commissioners and providers of health and social care services to enable progressive and beneficial decisions to be made.
Job Purpose:
To lead and manage all aspects of the Healthwatch North Northamptonshire service in line with statutory duties, service specification, performance requirements and in line with the values and objectives of Support Northamptonshire.
Our aim is to raise awareness amongst commissioners, providers and other agencies about the importance of engaging with communities, and the expertise and value that individuals can bring to discussion and decision making on local and national issues.
We hope to carry out this work in North Northamptonshire through specific ways:
· By capturing community views through people’s experiences and by understanding and reporting on these experiences to health and social care services.
· By actively promoting community involvement in the commissioning, provision and scrutiny of health and social services, giving people and communities a stronger voice to influence and challenge how health and social care services are provided within their locality.
· By undertaking community-led research in priority areas to examine the impact of health and social care services, its pathways and make any recommendations for change.
· Healthwatch can monitor and review how local services are planned and run (except for social care facilities for children and young people) and have the statutory power to ‘Enter and View’ premises delivering health and social care services. This enables authorised representatives of Healthwatch to observe the nature and quality of services, report on their findings and make recommendations so that local authorities and health services can exercise their duty to respond.
· By providing Information & Signposting Service to help people understand the services available in their local area and to make informed choices about different health and social care services.
KEY TASKS:
To work closely with the Healthwatch NN Advisory Group and the Support Northamptonshire’s CEO to:
1. Fulfil Healthwatch NN’s statutory purpose, contractual requirements and its strategic and operational plans and objectives.
2. Contribute and challenge at a strategic level, influencing and shaping decisions made by commissioners and providers, in line with the vision and priorities of Healthwatch NN.
3. Implement a project management approach to the design and delivery of all workplan activity and deliver on respective programme areas including:
• Providing an effective Information & Signposting service for the public.
• Priority Research Projects
• Gathering Patient Experiences
• Proactively managing Community Engagement & Outreach work
• Meeting Enter & View requirements
• Promoting and supporting Volunteering
4. Coordinate all statutory functions including enter and view visits, information requests, escalations to Healthwatch England, and the coordination of intelligence gathering from a range of sources including the Information and Signposting function, and the NHS Complaints Advocacy service. ·
5. Work closely with the Care Quality Commission, Experts by Experience representatives, Social Service Quality Inspectors and any other stakeholders that perform a quality or inspection role to ensure coordination of activities and awareness of each other’s workplans. ·
6. Lead on all communications with Healthwatch England, the CQC and other national partners, ensuring the timely distribution of intelligence collated locally, and escalating matters of serious concerns.
7. To lead and undertake research and issue led investigations. in priority areas, provide quantitative and qualitative analysis on key data, ensuring projects and reports are achieved on time and to a high quality and that recommendations are reported and reviewed.
8. To develop a core team of community volunteers who can support and contribute to the work of Healthwatch NN and support them to be proactive and enthusiastic in fulfilling their roles.
9. To represent and promote Healthwatch NN with the NHS, Local Authority and Third Sector stakeholders and
10. Deliver presentations and progress reports at key statutory bodies including the Health & Well Being Board, Health & Care Partnership and Overview and Scrutiny Committee as required.
11. Act as the central point of contact for key stakeholders, commissioners, and service providers and sit on issue led boards and networks and attend such meetings when deemed it could add value to the work of Healthwatch.
12. Ensure effective working relationships are in place with neighbouring Healthwatch, and explore opportunities for cross boundary working and joint utilisation of resources. and ensure appropriate protocols are in place for collaborative working. ·
13. Identify, advance and manage collaborative relationships with key strategic stakeholders and partners to achieve our statutory roles (including voluntary sector, statutory agencies and other local Healthwatch)
14. Act as ambassador for Healthwatch NN, working with other organisations and bodies as appropriate, taking part in external working groups and events to further the work and reputation of the organisation.
15. Lead and develop and maintain productive networks, relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders and other appropriate bodies and organisations.
16. Where deemed appropriate, prepare formal requests for information to providers and commissioners, and keep a record of requests and timelines for responses. Identify appropriate actions when a late or insufficient response has been received, including onward referral to the Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee. ·
17. Identify gaps in the knowledge of Healthwatch North Northamptonshire about the health and social care needs of local residents and look to address these, particularly working with key partners. ·
18. Assess local strategies and policy documents, to identify gaps where local public concerns are not being addressed.
19. Adopt an effective and shared approach to information management with appropriate sharing of data to avoid duplication, misinterpretation or underuse of data. ·
20. Work with the team to identify gaps in service provision and alert local commissioners of any such gaps.
21. Act as the central point of contact for all incoming press enquiries and be available to provide comments when health and social care related articles appear in the news, or direct enquiries to Senior Management where appropriate.
22. Act as the central point of contact for any complaints made against Healthwatch North Northamptonshire and escalate accordingly to internal policies.
23. Deliver key performance targets and ensure contract monitoring reports are produced in a timely manner.
24. Manage the Healthwatch NN website and social media , production and publication of reports and all external materials and content.
25. Line manage Healthwatch NN staff and carry out supervisions and appraisals in line with Support Northamptonshire policies and procedures
26. Working with the relevant staff ensure the necessary infrastructure, resources and relationships are in place for the effective and efficient management of Healthwatch NN.
27. Ensure compliance with all Support Northamptonshire policies and procedures

Purpose
The Marketing Assistant is a varied role, working primarily in our Supporter Relations team, but also supporting other areas of the Fundraising and Communications team.
The primary focus of this position is to provide an excellent customer experience for CBM supporters so that every interaction is carried out with excellence, integrity and efficiency. This will help to create and be part of a supporter experience that develops and maintains long-term relationships with dedicated individuals and churches across the UK. The Marketing Assistant will ensure supporters feel valued and engaged with CBMs work.
On a day-to-day basis the position holder will be engaging with supporters by phone, email and writing, in responding to a wide range of enquiries, and carrying out administrative activities associated with marketing campaigns, donations, fundraising events and requests for materials.
The successful applicant requires strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as confidence to make outbound phone calls to build relationships, thank supporters, to share updates on our work, and ask for donations to build relationships, grow supporter engagement and maximise long-term income.
The position is part of a dedicated and enthusiastic Fundraising and Communications team, and part of this role is to provide additional administrative support to the wider team, specifically in areas such as 121 supporter communications to fundraisers doing events, churches, and legacy and in memoriam supporters.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inbound enquiries (40%)
Respond to the needs of CBM supporters and the public through the handling of inbound calls and emails in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner.
This includes:
a. Taking and processing donations over the telephone.
b. Handling requests, feedback and complaints in a respectful and timely manner, and offering solutions when appropriate.
c. Updating supporter records on the Customer Relationship Management system (currently Salesforce) and carrying out mail or email follow-up when required.
d. Responding to emails in the giving inbox, directing queries appropriately and maintaining organised records of communication.
e. Co-ordinating and responding to comments made on CBM’s social media platforms.
2. Outbound 121 communications (30%):
Carry out outbound calls to potential and existing supporters to inspire donations and explain over the telephone how support will transform lives, following set briefs and guidelines, but when applicable engaging supporters in conversation in a non-scripted approach. This includes:
a. Regular outbound calls and emails include thanking and stewardship communications, asking for support by Direct Debit, clarifying Gift Aid statuses, and discussing the possibility of supporting the charity in a Will.
b. Update the outcome of calls on supporter records on the CRM system.
c. Process donations made over the phone, carrying out mail or email follow-up when required, using existing materials and letter templates.
d. Refer follow up actions that are outside of the team’s remit to the relevant team or individual.
e. Contribute to the creation and development of guidelines for in- and out-bound telephone conversations.
3. Additional administrative duties (30%):
Perform a variety of other administrative tasks to support the wider fundraising team:
a. Data inputting, preparation and reports.
b. Updating and proofing fundraising materials.
c. Supporting speaker and church coordination when required.
d. Co-ordinating the stock and the distribution of supporter materials and fundraiser resources.
e. Mailing out church packs, thank you letters, and personalised communications, such as handwritten cards.
f. Liaise with colleagues and attend meetings to ensure up-to-date knowledge of CBM’s work.
g. Help develop a culture of enthusiasm and success, which reflects the ambitions of CBM.

The Role
The key purpose of this role is to work as a “right hand” to the Associate Vicar, as an Executive Assistant and lead of key projects. Listed below are the key elements that the role holder will be doing:
Email, Diary Management & General Administration
• Drafting high volume of emails, correspondence, enquiries, managing the email inbox and ensuring that replies and responses are timely and appropriate
• Oversee diary of AV and manage key dates and appointments in church cycle, book and set-up appointments, coordinate meetings, set-up Zoom links, include briefing notes for AV and coordinate all relevant information for meetings

Sunday Services
• Support AV in the running and oversight of 10 services across 6 sites at HTB and specifically with the 9.30am and 11.30am services at HTB Brompton Road
• Organise information and map out strategy and plan for special services, key points in the church calendar (Christmas, Easter, Vision series, Leadership Conference, Focus)
• Liaising with external speakers, processing honorariums, handling comms and coordination logistics for all outside speaker invitations and serving as the point of contact for guests – including sourcing books and resources, organising transportation, liaising with speaker team and coordinating with Director of Comms on any major requests
Budget, Strategy & Governance
• Assist AV with budget and strategy and annual salary review process for all HTB staff and also help with HR and recruitment issues where necessary
• Assist AV with strategy documents for HTB and the annual strategy process to ensure all HTB ministry departments aligned with overall goals and objectives for HTB set by the vicar
• Ensure accountability and clear communications with HTB Department Heads for all ministry areas and drafting of internal comms for internal HTB staff team
PCC & wider Church of England
• Assist with drafting PCC reports and documents for HTB where needed working closely with the Group COO’s office
• Support AV with communications with Chelsea Area Deanery, Kensington Area Council and all wider Church of England matters and requests (Diocese of London, Archdeacons, Legal Agreements, etc)
• Help HTB to ensure it is compliant with all C of E requirements and maintains good working relationships with the Diocese of London
• Support AV to ensure that all safeguarding matters/requirements fulfilled and clear communication with Safeguarding Officer
• Assist AV with managing matters relating to HTB’s accessibility matters (i.e. disability and special needs), sustainability policy and approaches, recruitment and staff policies, etc.
Project Management
• Support AV with any special projects or assignments as needed – i.e. School of Preaching Course, special Alpha projects, Electoral Roll, crisis management, projects for the PCC, key events, donor comms, fundraising and stewardship, racial diversity working group matters, research assignments, etc.

We are looking for an exceptional Grants Commissioning Manager (Scotland), with a focus on Faslane. This is a senior management role working as part of the Grants team within the RNRMC at a time when the Charity’s strategy has a real focus on beneficiary need and impact, managing RNRMC commissioned grants in Scotland, ensuring that the funds are awarded in accordance with the Charities Values and Outcomes Framework.
The role will work strategically with The Director of Relationships and Funding to support and deliver the charities funding plans for Scotland and support the Head of Commissioned Grants with all elements of the commissioning cycle including understanding need, designing projects, performance management of delivery and reporting of impact. Working with internal and external stakeholders, the role will involve the oversight and good governance of grants programmes to ensure quality, evidenced outputs, and value for money of projects.
In addition, you will lead and manage the Grants Administrator (Scotland, taking responsibility for actively and proactively supporting them to achieve in their post.

The Role
Staffordshire Wildlife Trust had an income of £4.7m in year ending March 2024, and this has grown again in the last 12 months. To push ahead with the Trust’s vital work to restore the natural environment across Staffordshire, and to meet the strategic goals by 2030, the Trust needs to increase its revenue substantially.
You’ll be leading a dedicated fundraising and communications team currently made up of 10 staff but set to grow. This position is a new one, and one of the key recommendations of a fundraising research assignment conducted at the end of 2024.
The Head of Fundraising and Development will report to the Chief Executive and be a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
Key tasks include:
• Develop and implement a five-year fundraising strategy

• Co-develop bottom-up, evidence-led income forecasts with your team and relevant Senior Leadership Team members

About You

About the role

- Experience of leading and managing continuous improvement in changing contexts.

The School:
Merchant Taylors’ School is a large Independent Boys’ School, situated in 280 acres of parkland in Northwood, Middlesex. Main duties and responsibilities:
Fundraising
· Developing and innovating the school’s regular giving programme, the Merchant Taylors’ Fund, to ensure a consistent income stream and increased participation from alumni, parents and friends.
· In conjunction with external consultants, running our (currently) biennial telephone fundraising campaigns and Giving Days.
· Liaising with school departments, clubs and societies to identify exciting projects to motivate supporters.
· Segmenting and targeting recipients for appeals to ensure the greatest impact and returns.
· Devising the strategy for promoting legacy giving as a means of supporting Merchant Taylors’, and to implement this strategy to increase the number of known legacy pledges to the school.
Stewardship
· Establishing and running a comprehensive benefactor stewardship programme that thanks and stewards donors at all levels, including legacy pledges, through regular communication and events.
Reporting
· Reporting on progress against all objectives to the Development and Alumni Relations Sub-Committee of Governors.
· Where appropriate, working with the Development Executive (Events and Communications), to produce benefactor report publications and contribute to other Development publications.
· Ensuring that all contact with OMTs and parents is recorded on the Development Office’s database, the Raiser’s Edge.

Based in North Kensington, the Dalgarno Trust runs a wide range of services that promote health, wellbeing, youth development, and inclusion. We’re proud to be the only community centre in our area delivering such a diverse offer, and we’re looking for someone who can lead our programme teams with vision, clarity and compassion.
In this role, you will:

Oversee the delivery and performance of a wide range of community projects.

Lead and support a team of programme managers across youth, food, health and community engagement.

Ensure robust monitoring, evaluation, and reporting for both internal learning and funder accountability.

Contribute to the organisation’s growth by supporting strategic planning, quality assurance (ISO 9001), and partnership development.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with at least two years’ experience managing community projects and leading delivery teams, with a strong understanding of programme performance, monitoring and evaluation, and stakeholder communication.
