This role has an exciting responsibility to capture the importance of the work that Snowdrop does and drive forward our ambitious fundraising strategy, focusing on diversifying income streams that sustains and grows our support to survivors.
You will need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills; experience of fundraising; and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively and prioritise rapidly changing lists of tasks.

What You’ll Be Doing:
You’ll lead our Fundraising Team and line manage our dynamic and engaged fundraisers, supporting them from planning inspiring activities and events to supporting local fundraisers and volunteers all whilst upholding Snowdrop’s values and fundraising best practice.
- This person will take the lead in delivering the next 12 months of Snowdrop’s fundraising strategy, driving forward strategic development, implementing learning and further developing the fundraising team to deliver on its fundraising ambitions in line with the wider organisational strategy.
- The Head of Fundraising role sits within the Senior Leadership team at Snowdrop and is responsible to contribute to the overall leadership, strategic management and continued development of the organisation
- Leading on creating strategies for attracting new corporate donors and partnerships alongside driving forward our well-established corporate volunteering programme
- This person will work alongside and support Snowdrop’s trusts and grants fundraiser and support on large grant applications where necessary
- Line management of the Donor Relations and Communications Manager and Community and Events Fundraising Manager, alongside the supervision of two consultants

The role

OVERVIEW
This role will be a key member of our ambitious team, delivering a growing portfolio of fundraising campaigns, fundraising events, and supporter engagement initiatives. You’ll oversee our supporter journeys, manage our communications channels, and build meaningful relationships that drive income and deepen our impact.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Fundraising Campaigns & Income Generation
- Work with the Head of Fundraising to plan and deliver our 12-month supporter journey – including fundraising campaigns (online and offline), events and appeals.
- Manage our calendar of challenge events (e.g. The Don’s Cycle Challenge, Wombles Walk, Sponsored Skydive).
- Grow supporter-led community fundraising in the local area.
- Lead outreach to engage new local partners – including small businesses, schools and clubs – promoting fundraising opportunities and supporting their initiatives.
Communications & Marketing
- Alongside the Head of Fundraising, lead all communications for the charity.
- Create engaging fundraising content for email, website, and social media to drive online donations, event and programme sign-ups.
- Work with the wider Foundation team and club comms team to create content for social media, e-newsletters and our website.
- Promote Foundation programmes and campaigns to fans, families, and local supporters, driving participation and donations.
- Create marketing materials (posters, flyers, etc.) to support charitable prorammes and campaigns.
- Collaborate with Senior Managers to share the impact of the Foundation through monitoring and evaluation reports. Including creating the annual organsiation Impact Report.
- Manage the Foundation’s website, ensuring content is regularly updated, fully functioning, and aligned with key campaigns, events, and programmes.
Supporter Engagement & Stewardship
- Manage the supporter engagement programme, delivering a rolling 12-month plan of personalised and meaningful touchpoints.
- Develop and implement strategies to encourage increased giving and recruit new regular donors.
- Maximise engagement and retention of individual supporters (particularly low- to mid-level donors) through excellent donor care, timely thanking, and compelling communications.
- Coordinate supporter stories and participant case studies to inspire giving.
- Manage our weekly e-communications, using engaging content to recruit new subscribers and convert them into donors, event participants, or programme attendees.
Supporter Care
- Act as the first point of contact for fundraisers and donors, delivering first-class stewardship and support.
- Ensure timely, warm and effective follow-up with all supporters, helping them feel inspired, valued and connected.
Events & Community Activation
- Support the delivery of fundraising and engagement opportunities at AFC Wimbledon fixtures and stadium events.
- Represent the Foundation at local events, cheque presentations, and community partner visits.
Administration & Data Management
- Maintain accurate supporter and income records in our CRM system, ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection laws.
- Liaise with the Finance Officer to process donations, including Gift Aid claims and income reconciliation.
- Provide regular fundraising reports and insights for internal and external stakeholders.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential
Qualifications & Experience
- Hold a relevant higher education or industry recognised certification or have a minimum of at least 1–2 years' experience in a fundraising, communications, supporter engagement or similar role
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with supporters, partners, or donors
- Experience planning and delivering fundraising campaigns, events, or community initiatives
- Experience using digital tools for fundraising and engagement (e.g. mass email platforms, design tools, giving platforms, CRM systems)

The Role
The Head of Partnerships and Fundraising is responsible for the majority of income generation for our charity. The Switch raises income from corporate volunteering partnerships and through grant applications to other trusts and charities, which together contribute circa £800,000 per year. This is a role that requires strategic thinking, relationship and negotiation skills, and the ability to meet income targets.
This role will manage and grow our current key corporate partners, ensuring sustainability and longevity in our partnerships. The person will be responsible for communicating effectively with corporate partners on a strategic level, to understand how we can improve our volunteering offer and communicate impact to their business.
The job-holder will seek new partnerships in diverse industries where we have fewer stakeholders, to ensure our young people work with companies and volunteers from wide-ranging sectors.
In this position you will scope fundraising opportunities from grant and trusts, and be adept at assessing our viability so that applications we submit have a higher rate of success than average.
As Head of Partnerships and Fundraising, you will create new income streams which The Switch has not considered before, for example legacy funding, individual giving, corporate match funding. This will improve our financial stability.
In addition to income generation, this role will lead the Partnerships team and manage two to three staff as follows :
1. Our Corporate Partnerships and Volunteer Manager - oversees all volunteer logistics, including maintaining volunteer records and distributing relevant briefing materials to ensure volunteers are well-prepared for their role. Some time dedicated to fundraising too.
2. Our Communication Coordinator – leads on our regular comms including our digital newsletter, social media pages, and bespoke comms for projects or funders.

· Working hours are typically 9am – 5pm Monday – Thursday, and 9am – 4pm Fridays.

We are looking for a Head of Supporter Led Fundraising to join the senior fundraising leadership team at Scope.
This is a brand new role for Scope and will be responsible for developing and executing the vision and strategy for supporter-led fundraising, building and leading a new team to deliver income growth.
Your team will be engaging with all individuals who choose to fundraise on Scope’s behalf through community fundraising and challenge events.
Additionally, safeguarding and increasing legacy income through community events and robust stewardship will be an essential aspect of this role.
The role
As the Head of Supporter Led Fundraising, you will set the vision and strategy for supporter led fundraising at Scope:
· Operationalise the strategy delivering flexible and responsive supporter led fundraising activity for the long-term.
· Develop and lead a high-performing and collaborative supporter led fundraising team, coaching and motivating where needed.
· Focus on increasing net income while deepening public knowledge and engagement, and why disability equality is so important.
· Oversee the development and delivery of a portfolio of co-produced fully accessible and inclusive supporter led fundraising products.
· Build effective and positive working relationships with peers and colleagues across the charity including the Executive team and Board.
· Lead by example modelling Scope’s values and behaviours, focusing strongly on accessibility and inclusion.
· Responsibility for focusing on legal and regulatory compliance including hiring to new functions and model best practice in safeguarding and health and safety.
About you
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced fundraising leader, with experience of meeting and exceeding income targets.
You will:
· Proven track record with at least 5 years' experience in a relevant fundraising leadership role with demonstrable success in achieving targets.
· Experience in developing and leading teams in implementing fundraising strategies and growing income
· Extensive experience in leading teams and managing cross-departmental projects.
· Experience of developing and reporting against KPIs to senior leadership teams and trustees.
· Extensive income and expenditure budget management and reporting.
· Knowledge and understanding of the UK funding landscape and current fundraising compliance and best practice.
· Experience in digital fundraising and supporter engagement.
· Ability to build mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders.
· Experience in working with external agencies and internal creative teams.
