Ways of Working:

You will have solid experience of driving business results and of building business thinking in colleagues, influencing, and challenging as needed, together with substantial experience of working with and generating insight from high-volume databases within a fundraising environment. You should have strong experience in organisation wide efficient and effective data management, as well as experience in managing change projects, working alongside, and influencing key stakeholders to achieve the best outcome for the organisation. You will need to have a commitment to personal growth through self-awareness and self-management, together with good working knowledge and understanding of cyber security. You will need to enjoy being part of a small team where individuals thrive on working outside of their designated roles from time to time to get things done. Although not essential, experience of using Power BI / Power Query / DAX for data analytics would be advantageous.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with good understanding and experience of individual giving. The main objective of this role is to drive income to the hospice from individuals, growing and retaining donors through direct mail cash appeals, regular giving, lottery, in-memory giving and legacy promotion.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Developing an individual giving strategy that builds on previous successes and learnings, which looks to significantly grow our contactable community over the next three years and maximise the lifetime value of our donors.
• Project managing a variety of fundraising campaigns and events
• Managing a programme of supporter direct mail appeals
• Developing In Memory giving income
• Managing and developing our lottery income and our relationship with Local Hospice Lottery
• Developing engaging supporter journeys for key audiences to encourage repeat giving
• Managing the development of the income and expenditure budget for our IG programme
• Managing our In-Memory Fundraising Officer

This role will be working with internal teams, external suppliers, and third-party providers to develop and test propositions.  The post holder will work to acquire new donors and suppliers, segment our data, and maximise insight into our donors to support our growing individual giving stream.  We have ambitious targets for this programme and lots of opportunities and an appetite to test and learn.

We are seeking someone who is an experienced individual giving fundraiser, with excellent interpersonal skills and a great team player. Role Purpose:

This is a great opportunity to make a significant impact on hundreds of civil society, social movements and community groups around the world, driving funding to where it is needed most. The Head of Development will join the central team, reporting to the CEO and will be responsible for forging relationships with funders, as well as identifying opportunities to engage with local community groups. 

They will share the Social Change Nest’s ambitions to transform funding for grass roots organisations and coalitions by reimagining fundraising, removing structural barriers and encouraging institutional funders to support community interests. They will oversee the Marketing, Communications & Development Assistant and one other team member and will collaborate with Risk, Compliance and the Innovation Managers. This is a busy and exhilarating role with opportunity to grow and develop. We are planning to increase the size of the team over the next year.

We nurture grassroots groups and enable funders to support frontline social action by offering fiscal hosting, grant management, grant distribution and fund management services. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Risk & Assurance Manager to join our Audit, Risk & Governance Team. This role will require the successful candidate to support to the Head of Audit, Risk & Governance in the implementation and oversight of effective risk management and assurance policies and procedures for the whole organisation.

Role Requirements

 You will attend the Audit & Risk Committee and other board committees from time to time to present on risk and assurance.  With experience of delivering 2nd line risk and assurance activities within large, complex or heavily regulated organisation, you will be effective in building professional relationships and influencing and collaborating with colleagues from all disciplines and at all levels. 

You will need to engage effectively with frontline and support colleagues to really understand the needs of our beneficiaries and the risks to the charity more broadly.  The ultimate objective of risk management at The Children’s Trust is to ensure the charity continues to deliver high-quality, safe and effective and financially sustainable services for vulnerable children now and in the longer-term.

Although the role does not have any formal direct reports, the Risk & Assurance Analyst will have a dotted line into the Risk & Assurance Manager, providing support particularly on business continuity but also on risk management as and when necessary.

With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.

The role

As the motion design producer at Breast Cancer Now, you’ll play a key role in helping bring our work to life.

You’ll be creating high quality, engaging content about our life-changing research, campaigning, fundraising, services and health information. And you’ll be part of the multimedia team, where we produce video, photography, motion design and audio that help strengthen our brand and tell our story.

Reporting to the senior multimedia manager, you’ll be producing motion design projects that cover all aspects of the organisation. This includes producing multiple small and large-scale motion projects throughout the year to support major campaigns and projects. Experience of producing long and short-form content with an eye towards social trends is also desirable.

The role may require some work on larger video and photography projects throughout the year to support the wider team, so any skills in video production, video editing or photography would be an advantage.

About you

You’ll have a keen interest in all things motion design and have a good portfolio of work to show this. You’ll be hard-working and highly motivated, with a flexible approach to your work. And you’ll be used to working in a busy team environment and able to work on your own initiative.

Strong communication skills are essential as you’ll be working with teams across the charity, supporters and people affected by breast cancer. 

You must have considerable experience using adobe creative suite, particularly after effects, illustrator, photoshop and premiere. Any knowledge of blender or other 3D software would also be welcome.

Safe Passage International (SPI) is recruiting a Head of UK Legal Team to lead our ground-breaking legal work in the UK. The UK Legal team works to ensure that safe routes exist for all people seeking asylum. The team specialises in providing free legal advice and representation to unaccompanied children and families seeking asylum in the UK.

The Head of UK Legal Team will be a UK-based qualified solicitor or barrister or OISC Level 3 accredited caseworker or IAAS Supervising Senior caseworker with experience of working within the UK in a legal capacity, specifically in the area of asylum, immigration and refugee family reunion.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead a high performing team of immigration lawyers, casework supervisors, and caseworkers. You will drive the development and delivery of our legal strategy in the UK; supervise all UK legal casework; lead our litigation strategy; develop good practices of line management and regulatory compliance within the team; and lead legal policy work by collaborating closely with colleagues within the UK, France and Greece to create a cohesive, powerful, cross-border legal response and framework.

You will also work closely with the Heads of SPI Greece and France, our International Safeguarding and Protection Manager, Experts by Experience Consultants, and Safe Passage Young Leaders to shape our legal function.

This is a vital role within the senior leadership team of a young and dynamic organisation. About You

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Producer, with strong climate credentials, to lead our small, dedicated production team. As the Executive Producer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the editorial direction in close collaboration with the hosts; oversee the production process end-to-end, including acting as Producer on episodes; and ensure the podcast maintains its high standards of quality and impact. Working closely with the hosts, content creators, and other stakeholders, you will drive the strategic vision of the podcast and spearhead efforts to grow its audience and influence.

Given the size of the team, this is a hands-on role, combining storytelling and editorial excellence, alongside strong climate knowledge and a commitment to driving action and impact.

Sense are in search of a Trusts and Statutory Manager to join our fantastic engagement team based in London. The successful candidate will play a key part in delivering Sense’s strategy to reach 50,000 people with complex disabilities by 2026. Central to this strategy is our plan to deliver growth in our charitable projects and to build several new multi-million-pound hubs in Belfast, Leeds, and the Southwest. These hubs will significantly increase the number of people who can access our services, helping to bring forward the day when no-one is left of life.

Sense has a strong track record in Trusts fundraising over several decades. We have recently secured several 6 and 7 figure statutory partnerships, and we have talented colleagues in post, but there is room to grow, and Sense is investing. This year, we have also welcomed new corporate, major donor, prospect research, and special events colleagues to the team, and this new role is part of the same planned investment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage a robust portfolio of prospects and supporters to meet income targets 
• Research and identify potential funders for unfunded Sense projects/concepts
