About the Role
Building on an 8-figure philanthropic commitment made by Oak Foundation, the Development Manager will play a key role in securing the long-term viability and success of the Migrant Futures Institute. Working with the Director of Development and Alumni Relations and the MFI Director, the post holder will ensure that fundraising is an embedded strategic priority. They will develop and deliver outcome-led fundraising strategies that work within the broader University fundraising and communications environment and achieve philanthropic fundraising targets.

We are looking for a proactive policy and corporate affairs professional to join the Police Now team and play a key role in shaping understanding of our programmes, build support amongst stakeholders, and lead the conversation on police reform and culture change.

About the role:
This is an exciting new business role which has emerged in our newly formed Philanthropy and Partnerships team. As our Partnerships Development Manager (New Business), you will be confident and credible at senior levels, adept at storytelling, relationship building and able to drive transformational philanthropic partnerships to secure five or six-figure and multi-year commitments. This will help take the organisation from an annual income of £10m to £15m over the next 3-5 years to accelerate and expand Hope and Homes for Children’s impact for children and families.

As Senior Manager, Corporate, you will lead and manage a portfolio of high-value, complex corporate partnerships that deliver sustainable income and transformational impact for children.

Reporting to the Head of Development, the Senior Events Manager will be responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of the LSO Development Events programme by managing all aspects of major donor and corporate event organisation, and generating income through the creation, development and delivery of major fundraising events. The Corporate Partnerships Manager will play a crucial role in the future growth of our charity and the impact that we achieve through partnership for people with sight loss. Research:
· To direct the work of the shared Partnerships Assistant in researching, identifying, and maximising the potential of new corporate prospects using information held within the supporter databases as well as external sources such as LinkedIn, and business press.
Relationship building:
· Ensure all corporate relationships receive exceptional stewardship and that appropriate cultivation plans are developed, maintained and implemented – in particular, quality and timely reporting of impact achieved against funding provided.
· Build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within current and potential corporate partners to embed the organisation as a charity with a strong reputation for meeting the needs of corporate supporters.
· Plan and organise opportunities for funders to view the impact of their funding first-hand, ensuring all safeguarding procedures are followed and met.
