Core Purpose
The Corporate Partnerships Executive plays a vital role in managing and growing corporate relationships to maximise income and engagement. The role involves stewardship of existing partnerships, delivering corporate assets and communications, and ensuring smooth operational processes. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with internal teams to create partnership assets, support fundraising activities, and drive engagement across corporate supporters.

Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Partnership Management

• Manage a portfolio of five-figure partnerships and act as the primary point of contact for smaller corporate accounts, including our UK partnerships through Make-A-Wish International.
• Provide support for larger strategic partnerships that will include but not limited to: developing bespoke fundraising initiatives and newsletters, coordinating charity champion networks, tracking income, attending partner meetings and assisting with bespoke partner events and promotions to ensure all fundraising and communications activities remain on track to achieve income targets.

Stewardship & Administration

• Ensure timely thanking of partners through certificates, letters, and recognition initiatives.
• Coordinate with the volunteer team to identify, promote, and track volunteering opportunities for corporate partners.
• Represent corporate partnerships on internal working groups, ensuring alignment with wider organisational objectives.
• Provide administrative support to the wider corporate partnerships team
• Ensure the corporate website is kept up to date with relevant partnership information and opportunities.

Corporate Communications & Financial Processes

• Support corporate financial processes, including invoicing, reporting, and data management.
• Assist with Gift-in-Kind (GIK) donations and tracking.

Internal Collaboration & Compliance

• Work collaboratively across teams to align corporate partnerships with wider fundraising and engagement strategies.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and ethical fundraising standards.
• Support internal initiatives, including volunteering opportunities and engagement activities.

Head of Fundraising and Communications

Due to the current Head of Fundraising and Communications moving on, we are looking to recruit for an experienced senior leader in fundraising to play a vital role as the team transition into the new Youth Zone.

About the Role

As Head of Fundraising and Communications, you’ll be working with the Chief Executive, Board of Trustees, and Leadership Team to deliver £1.4m of income and establish a strong financial foundation for the new Youth Zone.

You’ll develop and drive income strategy, lead a high-performing Fundraising and Communications team, and personally manage relationships with key major donors, including local individuals and businesses supporting the Founder Patron campaign. Founder Patrons pledge at least £25k annually for four years, together these 34 Founder Patrons will ensure that the organisation has a strong financial position ensuring the team can transform the lives of 18,000 young people in the first four years.

This is a unique opportunity to combine strategic vision with hands-on fundraising expertise in a role that’s as inspiring as it is impactful.

About You

You will have a demonstrable track record of income generation through personally securing at least five figure major donor gifts from high net worth individual (HNWIs) and/or corporates, with an impressive track record in securing significant funds and meeting challenging financial targets, including both new business and account management

You will have experience of:

• Developing a new pipeline of HNWIs and/or corporate prospects and being pro-active in converting these to active donors.
• Developing and delivering successful fundraising strategies and aligned annual plans, with income and expenditure budgets, and associated fundraiser key performance indicators.
• Stewarding HNWIs and/or corporate donors, or key senior external stakeholders to maintain the highest levels of engagement.
• Managing and motivating team members to achieve their personal and collective goals.
• Working with and influencing senior leaders and peers within an organisation.
• Working to and achieving personal targets and KPIs.

About the Organisation

This is a brand-new locally run youth charity, set to provide thousands of young people with the opportunity to have fun, make new friends, try something new and feel safe. With community centric values and located in the heart of Grimsby, it will be an inspiring place for young people aged 8 – 19, and up to 25 for those with additional needs, to enjoy their leisure. · Develop and implement a stewardship programme for donors and funders building support and securing new income for The Carers’ Centre.

· Work collaboratively with colleagues to help deliver The Carers’ Centre vision for carers.

Income generation

· Design and deliver a diverse income generation plan to support philanthropy and fundraising in line with The Carers’ Centre Strategic Plan.

· Co-produce annual philanthropy and fundraising targets and take the lead responsibility to instigate and co-ordinate the activity that will achieve them.

· Build long-lasting relationships with key local philanthropists, donors, and funders.

· Work proactively with colleagues to research, identify and scope a portfolio of compelling projects and proposals that will appeal to donors and funders.

· Work closely with communication colleagues to develop appropriate communications campaigns and activities for different supporter groups.

· Contribute towards the charity’s communications and marketing strategy ensuring fundraising is embedded.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Head of Funding and Partnershipsis a key member of HACT’s Leadership Team and leads the organisation’s business development, tendering and fundraising function. As part of the management tier, the role is responsible for scaling HACT’s impact across and beyond the housing sector through innovative commercial approaches, strategic fundraising, and exceptional customer relationships.

This position combines fundraising expertise, partnership building, developing and maintaining high-value relationships with funders, partners, and clients, as well as market intelligence. It identifies new opportunities for R&D development, pipeline growth, product sales and tender submissions while managing core business development activities that support HACT’s strategy.

The Head of Funding and Partnerships creates and executes annual fundraising and commercial plans, fosters collaborative relationships across the organisation, and embodies HACT’s values through transparent, supportive leadership. From time to time, the role presents to the Trustee Board and provides strategic advice and leadership to the executive team.

JOB PURPOSE

To lead HACT's fundraising, tendering and business development function, delivering ambitious fundraising targets while providing strategic market insights that drive organisational growth and innovation.

Responsibilities

Strategic fundraising leadership

• Create and deliver a fundraising strategy aligned with HACT's business strategy and ambitious growth target, with annual and multi-year targets
• ·Identify new funding opportunities through market research, relationship building, and strategic intelligence
• Lead the development of high-quality tender responses and proposals
• Maintain a register of frameworks and procurement opportunities aligned to HACT’s strategic priorities
• Oversee the production of high-quality client proposals within agreed deadlines, ensuring compelling cases for support

Partnership building:

• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate sponsors, foundations, and other organisations to create mutually beneficial partnerships.

Market intelligence & business development

• Contribute to organisational strategy development through participation in Leadership Team activities

Cross-functional collaboration

• Work closely with the Head of Communities and Projects to ensure project delivery meets funder expectations, leading on managing key grant funding relationships
• Work closely with the Head of Marketing to align fundraising and marketing strategies for maximum impact
• Work closely with the Head of Services to create proposals that maximise income opportunities
• Work closely with Head of Customer to identify commercial opportunities and enhance service delivery, using insights form Social Value Insight to strengthen funding propositions.
• Work with the Head of Business Functions to develop commercial pricing and funding models and ensure compliance with due diligence and funder requests.
• Support colleagues across the organisation by providing proposal support, market insights and funding intelligence

• Line manage and develop the Funding and Insights Officer, providing coaching, guidance, and performance management
• Develop and implement Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for proposals and grant applications to ensure consistency and quality
• Establish accessible, reliable management information systems to track performance and inform decision-making
• Ensure efficient processes and systems that support high-quality proposal development, tender submissions and relationship management

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Governance

• Work with the Board of Trustees to set and deliver the charity’s vision, mission, and strategic priorities.

Orchard Fundraising is actively seeking Client Leads to join our team. ​​The role is to lead all activities for a set of clients (typically 4 or 5 in due course). You will be the main point of contact and manage the work supporting each charity. You will be responsible for delivering the agreed fundraising strategy, setting the plan and supervising others working for you in a matrix management system.  At times, you will also need to be involved in application drafting for more complicated bids. 

The role is fully remote, working from home, ideally between 20 and 32 hours per week and can be structured to accommodate your availability and aspirations. Work is highly flexible and could fit around other commitments and lifestyle, with periodic client and colleague meetings at mutually convenient times. Orchard Fundraising is proud of its highly personable approach and is adaptable to a wide range of working patterns. If your availability and needs are outside these parameters, we may still be able to accommodate the right candidates.

At least five years experience of charity fundraising is required, notably trusts and foundations, with expertise in one or more of HNWI, legacy, corporate, digital and individual giving an advantage. You are likely to have been in a senior and/or management role (or demonstrate the capabilities to develop the necessary skills). While no formal qualifications are needed, a Chartered Institute of Fundraising qualification or training would be preferable. Client Leads work as part of the wider Orchard Fundraising team, so there is always support, but it is necessary to be highly reliable, available for clients, a strategic thinker, able to remotely manage others and be highly self-sufficient. Having personal characteristics compatible with the company ethos is essential.

While Orchard Fundraising has clients throughout the UK, nearly all work is conducted remotely, and visits are rare. We have a concentration of clients in the South West and West Midlands, so living in (or knowledge of) these areas would be beneficial.
