The Role
Based at our Head Office in Basingstoke, Hampshire, and reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will deliver engaging, creative, data-driven marketing campaigns targeting our beneficiaries and supporters across the UK’s fire services community. You’ll achieve this by utilising all our available media channels including email, websites, direct mail, social media, on/offline advertising and events.
In this fast-paced and exciting role, you’ll be supporting teams across our Charity to promote our health and wellbeing services to the deserving people we support. You will also assist our fundraising teams to generate the income needed to fund the diverse range of services we provide to the fire family.

About You
We’re looking for an enthusiastic marketer with experience delivering marketing campaigns that demonstrate a return on investment.
You will need to be confident communicator, calm under pressure and keen to evidence the success of your work through data analysis, you will be able to adapt your approach to suit different audiences and to translate marketing briefs and objectives into effective campaign activity.
Naturally creative and pro-active, this role would ideally suit someone who is keen to take the next step in their marketing career, who thinks on their feet to overcome challenges to deliver projects on-budget and on-time.

We are looking for a Fundraising Officer to lead the administration of CCT’s tiered membership programmes, annual and church-based appeals, legacies, and fundraising events. The Fundraising Officer will also support in the creation of marketing materials to support these initiatives.

The Operations Manager is responsible for Dose of Nature’s day-to-day operational management, providing a welcoming and efficient front face and ensuring organisational effectiveness to support the delivery of Dose of Nature’s strategic objectives. Dose of Nature is in an exciting phase as we continue to receive greater funding to expand our reach. Dose of Nature is a mental health charity whose objective is to improve the mental health and wellbeing of individuals through increased engagement with the natural world. Our work is rooted in a wealth of scientific evidence that demonstrates the physiological and psychological benefits of spending time in nature. We deliver ‘nature prescriptions’ to people referred by their GP with a wide range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction. Our Dose of Nature Prescription Programme is overseen by psychologists and is a genuine alternative to both medication and more traditional psychological interventions. Through a combination of education, first-hand experience, and practical and motivational support, we aim to encourage a greater connection with nature, and inspire lifestyle changes that will have a significant and lasting impact on mental wellbeing. The role is 37.5 hours per week and will involve working at Pensford Field, Kew, Monday to Wednesday from 9am-5:30pm and from home Thursday and Friday 9-5:30pm.

About You:

Director of Income Generation
37 hours per week
Salary £70k to £75k per annum WTE based on 37 hours a week
An opportunity has arisen to join Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice as our new Director of Income Generation. Reporting to the Chief Executive you will lead a dynamic and committed team to achieve ambitious income generation targets. You will sustain and further develop a balanced, and diverse income generation portfolio, focusing on maximising income and growing enduring relationships with supporters and customers across our region.
This is an exciting time to join Phyllis Tuckwell with the successful candidate having the opportunity to plan and implement the final stage of our £6 million appeal to build a new hospice.
The successful candidate will:
- Be a member of the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to generate income and raise awareness of the Hospice mission and services.
- Provide direction, expertise, guidance, vision and leadership to all teams on income generation activities in a way that enables the teams to own the delivery of the IG strategy and plans.
- Sustain and develop a balanced, and diverse income generation portfolio, focusing on maximising income and developing enduring relationships with supporters and customers across our region.

Position Requirements:
- A minimum of five years of related work experience in major gifts fundraising or in the field of marketing and communications, preferably at a non-profit advocacy organisation.
- A proven track record of bringing in major donations of six-figure sums.
- Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred.
- A practical understanding of fundraising, GDPR and charity regulation.
- Knowledge of and proven ability to develop and implement fundraising strategies.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable presenting professionally.
- A positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, effective communication, and the ability to work cooperatively with others in a team-oriented work environment.

Salary and Benefits:
Salary band £37,000-£40,000, depending on experience. This is a remote working opportunity (UK-based candidates only).

The other half of your time will involve meeting with and training clients (to pass on your skills in research communications), both online and through face-to-face courses. Our senior team has an exceptional skill set, and we recognise that candidates with all the skills we need simply may not exist. But don’t worry, if you have some of the skills we want but lack others – we will train you to fill those gaps. This will include thorough training in the delivery of our well-respected training courses.
Our staff have the choice to work wholly or partly from home or from our office in Tooting, SW London, during regular operational hours (08.30-17.30). If working from home, staff must have a working environment suitable for holding video-call meetings/training sessions with clients.
Wherever you work, you will interact regularly with senior team members to gain new skills and exchange ideas.
This job will require regular travel to deliver training courses (mostly in the UK, estimated 2 to 8 days per month) and may also involve international travel, including to developing countries. So, applicants must be willing to travel (in line with UK government guidance).

Salary and annual leave
