We’re looking for a proactive and creative Senior Individual Giving Officer (Digital Acquisition) to join our friendly and ambitious fundraising team at the MS Society on an 8 month fixed-term contract. Your main focus will be acquiring new supporters through digital channels — planning and delivering high-performing campaigns across paid social, PPC, email and more. You’ll also lead on developing and testing new digital fundraising products that inspire one-off and regular giving.

You might be working in digital fundraising, marketing, or performance-based acquisition. You’ll have experience running digital campaigns, analysing results, and using insight to drive improvements. You’ll also be a creative thinker who’s excited to try new approaches and help us grow.

This is a hands-on role that will also help influence strategy. You’ll work within the Individual Giving and Legacies team, but work closely with colleagues across Brand, Content, Digital and Data, and with external partners and agencies. The role

We’re looking for a strategic, creative Head of Fundraising to lead our next phase of growth.

Your first focus will be stewarding our 3,000 fundraisers - overseeing segmented email journeys, managing a £40k prizing fund, and improving supporter care through deeper, more personal touchpoints. That might mean calls, events, or just finding ways to help people feel more connected to their impact.

Beyond that, you'll help us develop and test new income streams - from matched giving and regular giving, to sponsorships, repeat fundraising, and post-event conversion. You'll also play a key role in evolving our Challenge Events portfolio across in-person, virtual, and blended formats.

This role requires someone with a strong track record in fundraising growth, a test-and-learn mindset, and the ambition to build something big.

Core Responsibilities

• Strategy Development and Implementation
• Develop and execute a fundraising strategy aligned with the charity's objectives.
• Identify and cultivate new fundraising opportunities to diversify income streams.
• Defining our fundraising growth strategies, specifically around our event series.

Community and Events Fundraising

• Oversee the planning and execution of community fundraising initiatives, specifically with our event fundraisers.
• Engage and mobilise volunteers and supporters for fundraising activities.

Fundraiser Care

• Customer Lifetime value / retention / regular giving.
• Build and maintain relationships with donors, ensuring effective stewardship.
• Develop and implement donor retention strategies to increase long-term support and regular giving.

Trusts and Foundations

• Working closely with our Head of Programmes to oversee our bids process, working with specialists and utilising learnings from previous years.
• Deepen strong relationships with grant-making bodies and ensure compliance with grant requirements.

Corporate Partnerships

• Manage and develop corporate partnerships and event sponsorships. 
• Develop tailored proposals and pitches to attract corporate support.

Team Leadership

• Lead, inspire, and manage a small fundraising team, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members for both fundraising and marketing.

Monitoring and Reporting

• Track and report on fundraising performance against targets.
• Provide regular updates to the Senior Leadership Team. 

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in a senior fundraising role.
• Proven experience working on fundraising events and event fundraising.
• Demonstrable success in developing and implementing successful fundraising strategies.
• Strong track record of securing major gifts, grant funding and/or corporate partnerships.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a wide range of stakeholders.
• Experience in digital fundraising and leveraging social media platforms.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Communications Assistant

Are you new to nature and keen to start out in the conservation sector? Are you a creative communicator with a passion for storytelling and making a difference? Do you have experience working with young audiences, preferably within a wildlife or conservation setting?

We are looking for an enthusiastic Communications Assistant to help support the work, grow reach and engage a wide range of communities, for a small, purpose-driven conservation charity.

Position: Communications Assistant

Location: Remote (this role requires occasional travel and overnight stays)

Hours: Full time (37.5 hours per week)

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £24,946 per annum

About the Role

Whether you're just starting out or bringing early career experience, in this role you will have the opportunity to develop your skills across digital, print and media, working with a highly committed team to help restore beavers across Britain.

The purpose of this role is to amplify the charity’s communications by supporting the communications team’s day to day administrative tasks, channel planning, content creation, website updates and campaign delivery, involving some relationship management and project input.

Reporting to the Senior Communications Officer, you will be supported by formal and informal training to develop your skillset in writing and editing, media relations and database management, newsletters, websites and gain working knowledge of tools such as Canva, Hootsuite and Mailchimp.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide administrative and project support across the Communications and Education team, learning and using key tools and processes
• Support and develop communications channels and platforms, including website updates, accessibility reviews and database content
• Assist with social media planning, content creation and monitoring trends, including design of assets using Canva
• Coordinate and support podcasts, events and campaigns, including stakeholder engagement and occasional travel to represent the organisation
• Contribute to creative content development such as infographics, reports and materials for Beaver Trust and partners
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies, including health and safety, safeguarding, copyright, GDPR and EDI best practice

About You

Essential skills and experience include:

• A strong interest in or passion for nature, conservation and restoration
• An interest in communicating complex concepts in new and engaging ways to a wide audience
• Able to communicate ideas clearly in a team environment, with reasonable adjustments where needed
• Good organisation skills including time management, administration, workload planning and meeting deadlines. We welcome applicants who may need flexible ways of working or support in managing their workload
• Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
• Competent IT skills, preferably Google Suite, and good level standards for visual content (*little experience of producing content is necessary)
• Resident in mainland Britain and proof of right to work in Britain
• A space to work safely at home; there is a basic requirement to work with limited interruptions during working hours, in order to carry out meetings online and work effectively with colleagues with a stable internet connection
