This is a pivotal leadership role at a time of strategic change and opportunity. The Head of Income Generation will be responsible for delivering significant and sustainable income growth across our key fundraising streams: Corporate Partnerships, Community & Events, Trusts & Grants, Legacies, and Lottery & Individual Giving.

You will lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing fundraising team, and play a key role in shaping our organisational direction as part of the Senior Leadership Team. This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and a hands-on approach to business development and relationship building.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Lead the development and delivery of the income generation strategy in line with the new three-year organisational strategy.
• Identify and develop new opportunities for sustainable income generation across all core streams.
• Set and monitor annual income targets, KPIs, and budgets, ensuring accountability and strong financial oversight.
• Support the CEO as part of the Senior Leadership team and contribute significantly to the growth of the charity.
• Hold a key working relationship with the Marketing and Comms Manager, making sure both departments are fully aligned with our new strategy.

Fundraising Development

• Oversee and grow income across:
  • Corporate Partnerships – build strategic, long-term relationships with businesses.
  • Community & Events – lead a refreshed programme of events and supporter engagement.
  • Trusts & Grants – work with external agencies to support in securing significant grants.
  • Legacies – work with external agencies to nurture and grow our legacy giving programme
  • Lottery & Individual Giving – expand and innovate our donor base through creative campaigns.

Team Leadership

• Manage, support, and develop the Fundraising Team, fostering a culture of collaboration, ambition, and performance.
• Embed a values-led, supporter-centric approach within the team and across the charity.

About the role

We're looking for a passionate, values-driven CEO to guide our charity into its next inspiring chapter. 

The Coalition registered as a charity in December 2023. We have spent the last 18 months developing the infrastructure of the organisation so we can meet the Charity Commission requirements. Executive Officer: Ministerial Oversight

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Senior Puppy Co-ordinator to join our forward-thinking training department.  The role will involve overseeing and supporting our puppy co-ordinators, ensuring that all our puppies and volunteers are being trained to the highest possible standards.

Overview of the Team  

The Corporate Services team provides essential strategic and operational support across the organisation. Our governance function oversees compliance, risk management, and performance frameworks. The finance team manages budgets, financial planning, and reporting. All of this contributes to effective decision making. We are also responsible for looking after our properties, which includes maintaining oversight of two commercial leases, and maintaining Dartmouth House which is a grade II* listed events venue and our Head Office in Mayfair.

 Purpose of this role  

The Senior Governance Officer will provide high quality support to the Board of Trustees and its sub-Committees, and the Chief Operating Officer. This role will work closely with the Executive Assistant to the Director General.

Responsibilities and Expectations  

• Provide governance support including the preparation and timely circulation of agendas, papers, minutes and action logs for Board and Committee meetings.

Essential skills and experience

• A minimum of five years of experience providing high-level administrative support in a busy organisation

• Proficient in workplace software including Google Workspace, Zoom, Slack, Trello and able to learn to navigate new systems quickly 

• Experience of upwardly managing senior leaders with limited time and high responsibility 

• Experience managing external communications with senior stakeholders 

• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and produce coherent reports and minutes 

• A proactive, self-starting attitude with the ability to anticipate needs and adapt to changing priorities 

• Excellent time management skills: the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines is key

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job summary including context
Young Women’s Trust champions young women aged 18 to 30 on low or no pay. We’re here to create a more equal world of work and raise young women’s incomes.

We offer young women free coaching, feedback on job applications and information to help them get where they want to be. We bring together a network of thousands of young women to support each other, build their self-belief, and have their voices heard. We work with young women to campaign for equality in the workplace. And our research provides insight into what young women’s lives are really like, fuelling our campaigns for change.

About the role
Over the next five years, our fundraising team are embarking on an ambitious growth strategy to increase our income from c. £1m to £1.7m. This is alongside our commitment to spend a significant amount of our organisational endowment to invest in our campaigning, new services, digital capabilities and core infrastructure.

We have recently reshaped the team to create a new Partnerships and Philanthropy (P&P) programme. This unites our corporate partnerships, major donors, and trusts & foundations. With P&P contributing around 80% of our total fundraised income, this is a vital and expanding area.

This new role will support the new P&P Lead in providing outstanding stewardship to Partnerships & Philanthropy supporters, ensuring every commitment is delivered with care and purpose. You’ll play a key role in activating partnership activities, shaping standout content, and helping to build lasting, transformational relationships that drive real impact for young women.

The role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis, with some flexibility for hybrid working, though it will be primarily office-based in London Victoria.

In this role, you will work closely with both the CEO and CPO as a trusted right-hand, bringing structure and foresight to a fast-paced environment. You will combine classic EA support with broader operational responsibilities. From managing diaries, inboxes, logistics and minute-taking, to supporting programme delivery, operations, donor relationships, and CRM systems, you will ensure things run smoothly behind the scenes so the team can stay focused on mission and momentum. You will also support events and communications and help put the systems in place that will grow with the organisation.

We are looking for an experienced EA or PA who has supported senior leaders in a charity, foundation, or start-up and is eager to take on more. You will bring strong diary and inbox management skills, excellent organisation, and a keen eye for detail, along with the confidence to take the initiative and step into broader workstreams. This is a unique chance for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, purpose-led environment and wants to grow as the organisation grows, potentially into a more senior role over time. You will be a clear communicator, comfortable with CRMs and the MS Office suite, and above all, motivated by the belief that numeracy can change lives.
