As a membership organisation, the role of Head of Membership & Impact is crucial to the core mission of our charity, and forms part of our core team, working closely with both our CEO and Head of Partnerships & Grants, with support from your line reports.
Membership: You will oversee our membership process of our 170 members, from new joiners to member training and networking provision. The responsibilities of membership are varied, but include
- Ensuring a rigorous membership onboarding, survey and renewal process
- Designing and facilitating a comprehensive membership and events offer that meets members’ needs and fulfills our commitments from funders;
- Maintaining strong direct relationships with members, and overseeing the work with supplementary schools
Impact & Communications: You will lead YCF’s impactful communications and reporting. Responsibility areas will include:
- Overseeing YCF’s collection and effective use of our CRM and data, including about members
- Developing and writing effective and impactful reporting and storytelling of YCF’s work
- Embedding effective communications across YCF’s team
- Overseeing YCF’s online presence, including social media and our website
Youth engagement: Finally, you will oversee YCF’s youth engagement, via the following areas:
- Overseeing the delivery of our Young Ambassadors programme, in coordination with a leading youth social action provider, in line with best practice
- Facilitate and develop impactful opportunities for young Camdeners to have a say in decisions that impact them
You will also be a key leader at YCF and a core member of the SMT, managing two part-time staff members. You will champion the areas of membership, impact and communications and youth engagement across YCF and with external stakeholders. You will be called upon to represent the organisation in key spaces, including with Camden Council, key funders, and elsewhere.

Essential and desirable criteria
The essential criteria we are looking for are as follows:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience of report writing
- Confidence and experience in handling data, and generating reports from data
- Experience of using Salesforce, Mailchimp / similar CRM effectively
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to successful manage a busy and diverse workload
- Experience generating and leading on social media / website content

- A collaborative approach to work
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
It would also be desirable, but not essential, if the candidate has:
- Previous experience working with voluntary and community groups and/or public sector organisations

- Experience planning, facilitating and delivering events
- Experience of design software, such as Canva

JOB PURPOSE
We are looking for a creative, ambitious, and data-driven individual to join us as Senior Officer Digital Optimisation, specialising in UX/UI to lead on the development and delivery of UK for UNHCR’s testing and optimisation strategy to improve conversion rates and user experience online, including our website, donation pages, and various subdomains. The role reports to the Head of Digital Fundraising and manages all donation pages, digital testing and tracking, as well as a range of Google and optimisation products.
The primary purpose is to optimise digital performance through A/B testing across our websites and supporting teams to adopt and implement a test-and-learn framework in their digital channels to raise more funds for refugees.
An existing A/B testing roadmap has been developed and is ready for your input and ideas. However, testing and optimisation is not limited to fundraising and will aim to improve digital conversion and performance across teams, channels and platforms – playing a key part in UNHCR’s annual fundraising programme to enable UNHCR to deliver its vision of a world where every person forced to flee can build a better life.
You will work very closely with the digital fundraising team and wider Individual Giving team, as well as Communications and Philanthropy/ Corporate Partnership colleagues, our digital agency and international fundraising teams.
Passionate about UX/UI and fundraising, you will be a skilled communicator, tech-savvy and an experienced project manager. You will have strong problem-solving skills, a test-and-learn approach and a track record of meeting deadlines and meeting/ exceeding set KPIs.

Role Responsibilities
- Develop and lead strategy for conversion rate optimisation, including the management of a testing roadmap to regularly execute A/B and multivariate tests and the use of new and existing technology, e.g. heatmapping to reduce friction rates and continuously improve and optimise conversions.
- Lead UX/UI across organisation, overseeing and implementing tests and analysis across teams to improve web experience and achieve required KPIs and objectives.
- Manage Google suite of tools and relevant relationships, ensuring everything is up to date and operating as necessary.
- Manage all donation pages and fundraising landing pages, building new pages, maintaining existing pages and closing pages; identify areas for improvement and work with relevant stakeholders to test and optimise.
- Utilise and manage suite of third-party platforms, e.g. Optimizely, Mouseflow, iRaiser, Sleeknote, Typeform to improve user experience and increase donations and conversions.
- Remain flexible and quickly respond to emergency situations, identifying fundraising opportunities and develop relevant comms and journeys as needed, collaborating with colleagues from across the organisation.
- Use data and insights to produce regular reports on performance against KPIs; use analytics to identify trends and optimise activities based on user behaviour.
- Manage and maintain vanity and tracking links across the organisation, utilising Google Tag Manager and UTMs to monitor performance and results.
- Stay up to date with digital best practices and technology, including sector trends, follow industry policies, including GDPR, PECR regulations, attending training and optimising plans accordingly.
- Stay up to date with issues affecting displaced communities, campaigns from international, content and reports from the field.
- Share creative and insights with UK colleagues, global teams, and HQ.
- Participate in training seminars, workshops, and skill shares where applicable.

Personal Attributes and Experience
Essential Experience
- Experience of implementing and optimising digital marketing campaigns across channels, including paid and organic social, search and display; preferably within the charity sector.
- Experience of developing and delivering strategies for conversion rate optimisation and user experience/user interface.
- Experience of using digital channels for lead acquisition and conversion to grow income.
- Experience of measuring, evaluating and reporting on digital activity and performance across multiple channels and digital campaigns, paid and organic.
- Experience of working with external agencies and suppliers.
Essential Skills/Knowledge
- Experience of using Google Analytics or other web behavioural analytics tools.
- Experience with experimentation tools like Optimisely or similar.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management experience.
- Excellent written communication skills: able to produce compelling, persuasive, and concise copy for a range of specific target audiences.
- Attention to detail and proofreading skills and an ability to give clear and constructive feedback on creative and copy.
- Proven proficiency with design principles and tools (Canva/Adobe suite).
- Able to demonstrate flexibility and do what it takes to get the job done.
- Understanding of HTML and other coding languages.
- Able to juggle and prioritise multiple tasks and meeting programme deadlines.
- Strong presentation, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent stakeholder and relationship management.
- An understanding of GDPR, PECR and other regulatory compliance for fundraising and electronic communication.
Desirable Skills/Experience
- An understanding of digital fundraising practices and principles
- Experience with Google Tag Manager or other tag management platform is a plus, but not a requirement
- Experience of working across a broad channel mix (social, web, email, SEO, SEM and other Direct Marketing channels would be advantageous).
- Knowledge or experience working with Salesforce (or similar CRM platform).
- Knowledge or experience working with Wordpress and iRaiser (or similar CMS / ecommerce platforms).
- Experience of, or a passionate interest in the charity sector, and the drive to further their fundraising knowledge.

We have a new and exciting vacancy, The Centre Manager (the Manager) will play a key role in ensuring the management and smooth running of the Coventry Boys and Girls Club (Centre). This includes the management of the Senior Management Team (SMT), to ensure the compliance of/to and oversee all administration processes and procedures (including all legal requirements) and financial management.
A key role of this job is to develop the centre’s business in consultation with senior staff, service users to understand the needs of the community and thus create bespoke opportunities in response. This also includes working with and across stakeholders from statutory, voluntary and the commercial sector to generate greater means of collaborative working, and manage a facility which is both safe, sustainable, and friendly for users.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manage the safe and efficient operational delivery of the centre in conjunction with the Senior Management Team (SMT)
· To ensure that the service is fully compliant within its regulated marketplace and that the quality assurance processes are implemented and maintained.
· To support in strategy development, expansion planning and the delivery of the business plan and profit targets, working with the SMT to ensure new business generation in line with agreed budgets.
· To review data and SMT reports to evaluate, advise and support further improvement.
KEY TASKS:
· In conjunction with the Board of Directors to oversee the centre, supporting the Senior Management (SMT) and staff team to maintain compliance within those services and in particular, supporting with any safeguarding concerns.
· Closely oversee any areas of concern in the day-to-day operations of the centre and provide on call advice and assistance as part of an agreed rota.
· To implement and oversee KPI’s for the SMT in line with the centre’s goals, managing any areas of concern.
· To help deliver expansion plans across the centre, in particular working with the SMT to maximise the use of the centre’s facilities.
· To ensure that the SMT promote the use of the Centre by, amongst other things, maintaining the Centre’s website and other social media and maximise publicity opportunities and liaising with the local media, and to build relationships and acknowledge funders and their contributions.
· To advise the SMT and Directors on areas for development, areas of good practice and areas for improvement; introducing systems and work practices in order to deliver change where needed. To take quick and decisive action where any decline in outcomes is identified.
· To keep up to date with all regulatory changes and good safeguarding practice.
· To effectively introduce, communicate and share good practice examples across the staff.
· To help build on and further develop a strong and well-balanced team, developing new staff to come through across all regions and developing team resilience.
· Ensuring all Company Policies and Procedures are implemented, managed and monitored.
· Ensuring that all Legislation and Regulations are implemented, managed and monitored.
· Reporting via a board report, and attending board meetings, to share all relevant information within your role.
· To share key information following the board meeting with the SMT in a timely manner.
· To collaborate with directors and key staff to develop new systems, processes, or practices in line with the company requirements.
· Supporting the SMT to ensure that the service follows the agreed recruitment and selection processes, ensuring that the company’s staffing levels are maintained accordingly.
· Assist in the investigation process and hear grievances for formal disciplinary hearings (inc appeals) as appropriate and where requested.
· To investigate and apply for external funding.
· To promote and maintain positive, fruitful relationships with all stake holders, particularly Coventry City Council, to seek compatibility of activities and delivery of innovative joint ventures.
· To inform the directors, of any serious areas of concern.
· Maintain absolute confidentiality and follow all GDPR guidance and policy.

Guy’s & St Thomas’ Foundation is looking for a Challenge Events Lead to oversee one of the most high-profile areas of our fundraising. You’ll manage our participation in major third-party events such as the London Marathon, London Landmarks Half, Brighton Marathon and Ultra Challenges, ensuring supporters have an excellent experience while helping us raise vital income for our hospitals.
This is a senior role within the events fundraising team, giving you responsibility for relationships with external organisers, place allocations, supporter recruitment and stewardship. You’ll make sure that every runner, walker or cyclist feels supported from sign-up through to the finish line, building loyalty and long-term commitment to our cause.
You’ll also guide the Events Fundraising Co-ordinator, working together to keep everything running smoothly and to deliver first-class supporter care.

Summary of the role:
The Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager will oversee the development of existing high-net (HNW) donors and pipeline new high-net prospects. You will work closely with key Third Party supporters to establish our presence nationally.
