The Infection Prevention Society (IPS) is seeking an experienced Financial Controller on a part-time basis to manage the transition of the financial systems and processes. With 2,400 members, the IPS is dedicated to advancing infection prevention and control (IPC), playing a pivotal role in supporting IPC professionals, promoting best practices, and influencing policy to prevent infections.

The organisation is transitioning away from being a association-management / volunteer-led model to a small secretariat, hiring its first CEO and five other positions, including this most senior finance role. You will lead on the transition process covering all aspects of financial management, to ensure the Society’s financial integrity and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the financial transition to an in-house model.
• Creating and testing all internal processes.
• Oversee Statutory accounts, budgeting, credit control, financial reporting and compliance.
• Manage payroll and pension scheme implementation.
• Forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis and support with audit.
• Investigate potential new income generation schemes with CEO.

Requirements:

• Accountancy qualification (CIMA, ICAEW, AAT, ACCA, etc.)
• Proven experience in a financial management role, ideally within a membership body, learned society, nfp/charity or public sector.
• Open to part-time role only.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Executive Director to lead a small charity who work within the Jewish community to make it more inclusive of LGBT+ people through education, consultancy and training.

About the role:

As Executive Director you will lead a small team – Head of Education (full time), Head of Community Life (full time) and Programme and Volunteer Officer (full time), working with a charity that has a vision of a world where no one is forced to choose between their LGBT+ and Jewish identity.

As the only charity doing this in the UK, the charity works in partnership with communities to identify their goals, then tailor  support so they can achieve them.

The Corporate Partnerships team consists of Partnerships Management, Planning and Development and New Partnerships team. This role reports into a Senior Corporate Partnerships Officer.

Key duties and responsibilities

The post holder will:

As a skilled relationship officer, you'll work with your manager to provide first-rate partnership management, developing creative fundraising and engagement plans to excite and inspire your team. You will work to deliver outstanding donor led stewardship and activate campaigns to generate income. About the role

We seek a Head of Operations who will play a pivotal role in overseeing various aspects of our London Higher’s operations, including human resources, governance and compliance, IT, finance, and administrative functions. Strategic Planning and Organisational Leadership
