Your Impact

The Director of Strategic Partnerships reports to the CEO and is a part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), all of whom are Christian.  The SLT is responsible for the leadership, culture and Christian values of Keychange in the central office and community sites.

The person appointed to this role will:

• Maximise current impact and develop new programme opportunities for improvement and influence
• Develop and implement fundraising programmes
• Drive external partnership growth, including instigating national and local partnerships
• Lead on advocacy and influence, including local and national government policy and targets and sector themes and trajectories

About this job

This year, we’ve embarked on a bold, strategic initiative to enhance our data capabilities.

We’re aiming to improve our data use, integration and analytics to increase engagement, maximise impact and drive forward our strategic goals. With a key focus on: effective and efficient operations; collaboration; and continuous improvement in our Technology, Strategy and Business Intelligence teams.

To achieve this ambition, we’ve developed a new technology infrastructure which we are calling “Sage”. We’re implementing new technology infrastructure this year (such as our new CRM system and suite of data tools – Microsoft Dynamics).

Our Data Operations Managers sit within Product and Systems Management team.

Our Data Operations Managers have a key role in ensuring our end to end processes are working through our central CRM system. These processes include the processing of our income through the system such as Gift Aid, regular giving and special events, Direct Debits.

This role also ensures our end to end data flows are fit for purpose and that data within it are clean, accessible and available.

This role is responsible for:

• Custodian of our CRM data and responsible for major data import/export into the system including data validation, de-duplication, cleansing and fixing of data throughout the multiple data systems.
• Responsible for the curation and management of import and export routines of key fundraising data using appropriate tools.
• Responsible for forming and managing how the functions work within the Organisation to build key relationships with key data users to ensure data is correctly ingested
• Responsible for defining and setting standards and principles of data use in the system and fully enforcing these principles across the Organisation and to suppliers.
• Maintenance of legacy systems and processes where necessary

For this role we’re looking for:

• SQL (SSIS, SSRS) knowledge
• Knowledge of Dynamics CRM 365 and associated technology
• Working knowledge of KingswaySoft
• Knowledge of deduplication techniques
• Proven data management skills and experience

About You

Key Responsibilities
As a confident and energetic member of Global Canopy’s Development team, you will:

• Oversee the delivery of our Trusts and Foundations programme, shaping plans to ensure outstanding donor engagement and stewardship, future income growth and the delivery of our mission for forests, people and nature
• Personally manage a portfolio of prospects and existing funders at the six- and seven-figure level, inspiring them to give for the first time and continue or increase their giving
• Support the Trusts/Foundations fundraising team to develop a continuous pipeline of unrestricted and restricted funding opportunities
• Working alone and in partnership with other team members, develop high-quality tailored communications, including cases for support, bespoke proposals, concept notes and donor reports that demonstrate Global Canopy’s impact
• Engage and build relationships with peer and partner organisations to identify and explore opportunities for partnership funding applications
• Represent the voice of fundraising on strategic internal Boards and Working Groups, ensuring excellent communication flow between them and the Development team
• Collaborate effectively across the organisation at all levels, operating as a supportive and reliable fundraising colleague
• Work with colleagues across programmes, communications, operations and finance to shape annual plans and budgets

• Have proven experience of building relationships of trust, working collaboratively and in close partnership with internal stakeholders to deliver joint outcomes 
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, confident in synthesising complex information for external-facing, donor-friendly communication and talking with funders, prospects and stakeholders
• Be adept in negotiating in complex environments with multiple stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes 
• Be skilled in adapting your style of management to meet individual needs and provide support to team members in achieving their professional and developmental goals 
• Be familiar with the Fundraising Code of Practice and/or other relevant fundraising best practice frameworks
• Have excellent relationship management skills and high emotional intelligence
• Have strong financial literacy, including budgeting and financial reporting

First Give 

First Give is a national charity that empowers young people to make a positive difference to the causes they care about. We do this by partnering with secondary schools across England and Wales, delivering a fully resourced programme that inspires an entire year group to connect with local charities and take meaningful social action - from fundraising and volunteering to campaigning and raising awareness.

Each programme culminates in a celebratory School Final, where student teams present their projects to an audience of peers, teachers, and guests. The winning class is awarded a £1,000 First Give grant for their chosen charity - but every participating student contributes to their community and gains skills, confidence, and a deeper understanding of social issues. We currently partner with over 200 schools each year, helping thousands of young people become active, engaged citizens

This is an exciting time for First Give, as we have recently launched our three-year strategy and our ambition to activate the generosity of a million young people by 2034. In order to meet the requirements of the organisation for this ambitious growth a new 3 year fundraising strategy has been developed which includes expanding and diversifying our fundraising streams into Corporate and HNWI. We have also recently launched recruitment for a Fundraising Campaign Board Chair. The Campaign, A Route to A Million, aims to raise an additional £1.5 million over the next 3 years. We are also embarking on an ambitious regional growth strategy to grow and deliver our programme to more young people than ever across England and Wales.

Team Administrator

We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive and motivated administrator who would like a varied role.  The successful candidate will provide cross-departmental support and administrative support to the Director and Senior Leadership Team. There is real scope for the candidate to shape the role and gain experience from involvement in various organisational projects. Contract

Key responsibilities

Providing support to the First Give team, primarily the SLT

• To be the first point of contact for enquiries to First Give by email and telephone
• Provide administrative support for First Gives Board of Trustees and SLT, including scheduling meetings and meeting minutes
• Supporting with communications to stakeholders e.g. schools, facilitators or funders as needed
• Managing First Gives relationship with external contractors such as printers and Salesforce support

Overseeing and managing financial administration

• Setting up and tracking payments to contractors and charities in our banking system ensuring timely completion
• Processing, reviewing and identifying outstanding invoices (including working closely with school finance departments to ensure timely payment of school contributions)
• Administering expenses and pre-paid card system, ensuring expenses are accurately recorded each month
• Provide regular monthly tracking reports on payments to the Director

Administering First Give’s charity grants

• Carrying out due diligence for winning charities to ensure comply with First Give donation rules
• Liaising with winning charities to arrange payment and ensuring accurate records of payments processed
• Running monthly reports on payments for the Director

Providing support to the Programmes team

• Supporting the Programmes team with recruitment of judges for school finals
• Managing First Give’s programme resources stock, ensuring we have enough programme documents and equipment to resource the programme
• Management of coursebook printing and distribution to schools

Do you have corporate fundraising or business development experience, the ability to think strategically and bring ideas to life via written proposals and pitches? Then join Shelter in this key role as New Partnerships Manager and help to deliver our Corporate Partnerships Fundraising strategy by securing high value, long-term support from the private sector to tackle the housing emergency.

About the role 

As New Partnerships Manager, your priority will be delivering new, high-value and long-term support from the private sector to help tackle the housing and homelessness emergency.

You’ll focus on securing five -and six-figure partnerships through excellent prospect stewardship and the creation of tailored pitches and proposals, ranging from ‘charity of the year’ to commercial policy-driven relationships. You'll do this while demonstrating huge drive and passion for Shelter’s cause.

Role specifics 

We’re looking for a motivated individual to help drive income by securing multi-year, high-value corporate partnerships, with a focus on five and six-figure opportunities. You’ll proactively build and manage a pipeline of prospects, create compelling partnership proposals, and lead on the planning and delivery of strategic projects. Working closely with the New Partnerships Lead, you’ll support the development of team strategy, build strong internal and external relationships, and contribute to a high-performance culture that maximises support for Shelter.

About the team 

Led by the New Partnerships Lead, the team is responsible for contributing to the growth of Shelter’s voluntary income by securing new corporate relationships that support Shelter’s mission. The team is made up of one Lead, one Senior Manager, two Managers and one Executive. Together with the Partnership Management team, this forms Shelter’s Corporate Partnerships Team, within High Value Partnerships.

Lead the development, planning, recruitment and stewardship strategy for U/HNW philanthropy prospects, donors and funders

Be responsible for ensuring excellent stewardship of all philanthropic donors.

Oversee the individual major donor portfolios of the Executive Director of F&E and Director, (PSC) to ensure cross communication and sustained progress.

Lead the team, providing clear direction and support whilst proactively contributing to an inclusive workplace culture.

The Candidate
A demonstrable track record of success in fundraising from individuals and/or Trusts with a focus on major giving.

Proven ability to develop new networks of potential donors.

Strong experience of working in a senior management role within fundraising.

We are working with an incredible health charity to to recruit a Direct Marketing Officer to join their multi-million pound team.

You will already have some experience of working in a fundraising environment, ideally with experience of direct marketing, individual giving and gaming products. Youll enjoy working as part of a busy and high performing team which works to demanding targets.

The Role
Join a high performing team of ten, reporting to the Senior DM Manager, and alongside another Officer with the support of an executive.

Plan, deliver and manage direct marketing campaigns to recruit, develop and build relationships with gaming supporters.

What the job involves

We’re looking for a Customer Experience Executive to join our team on a fixed term basis covering an internal secondment. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, people-orientated, Customer Experience/ Supporter Care professional to join an established team at one of the most dynamic charities in the UK.

What we want from you

We’re looking for a people-focused, self-motivated, and hands-on individual who believes that every interaction matters. You’ll have experience working in a busy, customer-focused support team and enjoy the “nuts and bolts” of delivering customer-centred, insights-led experiences just as much as delivering the experience itself. You’ll help strengthen the relationships we have with our customers, so together we can create a world where lives aren’t limited by prostate cancer.

You’ll be comfortable dealing with complaints and able to engage with a wide range of customers, showing enthusiasm or empathy when it’s needed.

You’ll be a strong communicator, able to adapt your style to suit different people and situations and have experience building good relationships at all levels of an organisation. You’ll be comfortable highlighting the impact that every stakeholder has on our customers’ experiences. Proactive, collaborative, and a real people person, you’ll work well under pressure as part of a dynamic team.

You’ll have experience using a CRM system (like Raiser’s Edge) and understand the importance of handling sensitive data in line with GDPR regulations. Ideally, you’ll also have a good understanding of fundraising rules, including Gift Aid.

This is your opportunity to join Refuge as a Deputy Helpline Manager, to lead, plan and deliver this incredible service to ensure that it supports as many women as possible in line with Refuge’s strategic vision.

Refuge’s National Domestic Abuse Helpline provides a first point of contact and a national gateway to services across the UK for women fleeing domestic violence and other forms of violence and abuse. The helpline will be handling 144,000 calls per year, and is constantly developing and expanding the ways that women can safety reach out for support exploring technological innovation. It offers a gateway for women and children experiencing domestic abuse by providing support, signposting, referrals and information about the services available to them.

The Deputy Helpline Manager will be working as part of a management team, leading, planning and delivering the service to ensure that it supports as many women as possible in line with Refuge’s strategic vision. They will be directly responsible for a large team of helpline staff and sessional workers and will work alongside the Volunteer Coordinators to support with the recruitment, training, induction and development of a large volunteer team.

As part of this role, you will be required to participate in an out-of-hours on call rota.
