We are looking for an expert who can bring their enthusiasm and knowledge of autistic learners to join our team as our Aspirations Manager. You will be an effective leader, with school experience and QTS, who can inspire staff and our learners on their pathways to greater independence.

 Key duties and responsibilities of the role:

· Leads the Aspirations Service in a way that reflects the overarching strategy of the organisation via action plans, effective leadership of staff, sound communications and personal example

• Provides leadership and line management to Aspirations staff, including objective setting, performance management and the appraisal process, delegating the process where necessary and ensuring all Red2Green procedures for this are followed

· Creates and oversees a personalised service for clients that reflects the wider landscape within the county and the sector, with the intention that Red2Green and the Aspirations Service is an industry leader for Autism Services.

· Oversees all Education Provision for those at Red2Green with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)

· Organises, attends and takes a lead at EHCP reviews, writes EHCP offers and provides professional reports when needed

· Works as Deputy Designated Safeguard Lead (DDSL) alongside the Options Manager, and Chief Executive

• Builds professional relationships with other agencies, provisions and professionals
• Builds good relationships with learners’ families/carers to make sure that they are involved (as appropriate) in developing learners’ skills and abilities

Person specification:

You will have:

· Experience teaching autistic learners and a good understanding of the complexities that come from having more than one diagnosis

• Experience of working with people with learning disabilities
• Experience of leading staff

· Knowledge and Understanding of Education Health Care Plans

· Understanding of safeguarding duty

· Qualification for teaching (adults or QTS)

This is an exciting role with an opportunity to lead the charity into the 150th Year of delivery and with a new strategy to address need. The Director of Income and Engagement within Women's Aid is a key role within the Executive Leadership Team (ELT). Main responsibilities include:

• Create and lead bold and ambitious fundraising and business development strategies, meeting an annual target of £1.5m restricted and £2m unrestricted income, and delivering growth in income earner of £1.2m annually
• Support the membership team in delivering the member value proposition; overseeing all membership interactions and directing strategy for engagement

What do you need to succeed?

• Significant evidenced experience of leading income generation in a voluntary organisation
• Demonstrable experience leading on the development of an income strategy and in identifying and nurturing income opportunities, securing donations and grants in excess of 5-6 figures from individuals, corporate sponsors, and trust funders
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written, with excellent networking skills and the ability to liaise and influence at a senior level.
• Experience sitting on an Executive Leadership Team and working closely with other Directors
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders at differing seniority

An opportunity has arisen to join Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice as our new Director of Income Generation.  Reporting to the Chief Executive you will lead a dynamic and committed team to achieve ambitious income generation targets.  You will sustain and further develop a balanced, and diverse income generation portfolio, focusing on maximising income and growing enduring relationships with supporters and customers across our region.

Mind's Partnerships Fundraising team - part of the wider fundraising directorate - is responsible for generating income from major donors, charitable trusts and foundations, the statutory and corporate sectors.

The New Corporate Partnerships team is comprised of a head of team, two senior managers, two senior officers, three officers and one assistant.

The New Corporate Partnerships team has been at the forefront of securing some fantastic partnerships for Mind such as, Allianz, Bupa, Co-op, Direct Line, Dunelm, ITV, McLaren Racing, and McVitie's, to name a few. Our partnerships cover the spectrum of partnership types; strategic and Charity of the Year partnerships (COTYs) and brand and commercial partnerships. You will help us build on our success.

Our corporate partnerships play a huge role by helping us, raise income to achieve our strategic goals and adding value to businesses and society through our partnerships, including raising public awareness and reaching new audiences.

Key duties and responsibilities

The post holder will:

Working with the Head of New Partnerships, the New Corporate Partnerships Manager will:

-Help develop and implement the Corporate Partnerships team's new partnerships strategy, working closely with the Head of New Corporate Partnerships and other team members.

-In year one, be accountable for delivering an individual income target for 22/23 and supporting the overall New Partnerships Teams' multi-year income targets and ROI, working with the Head of New Corporate Partnerships and reviewing progress on a monthly and quarterly basis.

-Lead and develop opportunities from the Charity of the Year (COTY) and commercial/strategic pipeline, including developing and stewarding relationships, submitting proposals, leading on pitches, while working with various teams across Mind.

-Project Manage high level bids, to engage internal teams, create clear project plans including: roles and responsibilities, senior stakeholder briefing and internal feedback.

-Identify networking opportunities across Mind and externally for potential corporate partnerships

-Develop stewardship plans for top prospects, including Mind senior leadership and trustee engagement and roles, taking a collaborative approach and balancing impact and effort across opportunities

-Line manage two New Corporate Partnerships Officers who will support with the development of pitches and lead their own opportunities with your support

-Lead and assist with the design of new partnership agreements with companies to ensure that expectations from both parties are met and the interests of Mind are looked after, and risks are mitigated.

-Work proactively with the Corporate Partnerships team managers and support the wider team to renew, deliver and grow holistic, donor-focused partnerships where appropriate.

-Work with colleagues across Mind to identify the potential and manage the risk in new partnerships, ensuring that Mind's ethical policy and charity legislation is adhered to.

-Monitor, analyse and review information on industry trends, innovations and developments, keeping the pipeline updated.

-Represent the Partnerships team in appropriate working groups, workshops and/or meetings/other events as directed.

-Monitor and evaluate new business activity and provide regular updates/reports to the Head of New Corporate Partnerships.

-To use the CRM database to enter, update and extract accurate information to maximise operational benefits and opportunities from the database system.

-To support the new partnerships team and have delegated responsibility from time to time, in the absence of the Head of New Partnerships.

-To undertake other duties that may, from time to time, be necessary and compatible with the nature and grade of this post.

The Role 
 
As our Communications Officer, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a wide range of communications that contribute to increased brand awareness of the charity, demonstrate the charity’s expertise and impact, educate the public about cancer prevention, signs, symptoms and screening and support the generation of income for the charity. 

Specifically, you will: 

• Plan, research, create and distribute creative media content, including press releases, blog posts, case studies and videos, to support research, services, cancer insight, fundraising, events, retail, corporate partnerships and campaigns. 

• Proactively seek, identify and engage in media opportunities, such as attending events, organising photo opportunities and meeting face-to-face with case studies.

• Manage third-party suppliers such as photographers and film production agencies, obtaining quotes, providing clear briefings and ensuring work is delivered on time and within budget.

• Respond to press enquiries efficiently and to a high standard. Understand which media enquiries are appropriate for the charity’s brand and key messages and those which are not, so that the charity prioritises only those which are value-adding. 

• Organise TV, radio and press interview opportunities for the Chief Executive, Directors and Heads of. Prepare clear briefings for interviewees. 

• Demonstrate and convey professionalism at all times and represent the charity when communicating with the media, members of the public, volunteers and supporters to demonstrate the charity’s core values.

• Monitor and evaluate the charity’s media coverage and the digital impact of PR content, providing a monthly media clippings report. 

• Provide PR input to the charity’s Leadership Team, Board reports and performance dashboards. 

• Maintain continuous awareness of industry news and regularly update colleagues on key developments. 

 
About You 

To be considered for this role, you will need: 

• To be educated to a degree or equivalent level of education or have relevant experience in a similar role at a similar level. 

• Previous media experience, whether through journalism or a PR / in house media assistant role. 

• Experience in building relationships with colleagues and journalists and managing media opportunities such as interviews, broadcast opportunities and photocalls. 

• An ability to write compelling copy for multiple audiences, and media channels, often translating complicated information into a format that is easily understood by readers. 

• An agile media mind, able to spot the key storyline that will maximise the possibility of media coverage and attract the attention of the media. 

• An evaluative mindset, supporting continual improvement by analysing coverage and associated data from media activity. 

• An ability to keep a calm head when faced with a reactive media situation in a manner that best protects the reputation of the charity 

• A thoughtful and empathetic outlook, able to engage with people affected by cancer with sensitivity and respect.

About the Gatehouse:

It is a volunteer and donation-led registered charity supported by the whole Oxfordshire community, including churches and congregations of other faiths in Oxford. The Gatehouse community drop-in centre offers free support services for adults aged 25+ who are homeless, vulnerably housed, on low income, and/or looking for company and community. The Gatehouse offers a free café (six evenings a week), therapeutic workshops, and a bespoke one-to-one support service (over two evenings and one afternoon a week). The project also delivers an outreach service, an independent counselling service, and supports the Lived Experience Advisory Forum (LEAF). The Gatehouse is experiencing rapid growth and is eager to expand its leadership team to support its exciting plans.

About the Role:

As the CEO, you will spearhead The Gatehouse's mission and vision alongside the Board, ensuring stakeholders receive the best services.

You will be a visionary lead, driving organisational success through supporting your dedicated team of staff and volunteers, managing budgets, and overseeing fundraising efforts, while championing The Gatehouse's mission to serve vulnerable adults in Oxfordshire. You'll embody strong values, excel in interpersonal communication, demonstrate initiative and resilience, and exhibit a deep commitment to the mission.

You'll forge strong partnerships across various sectors, including donors and policymakers, and act as the public ambassador for The Gatehouse.

We’re seeking a tenacious individual, whether a recent graduate or someone with one to three years of experience in a communications/marketing role, to join our expanding Marketing and Communications Team. This role offers an ideal opportunity to capture compelling stories and amplify our charity’s voice while further developing your career in our dynamic team.

Reporting to our Communications Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering the Communications Strategy, crafting content across a range of platforms including The Pilgrims’ Magazine, our website, newsletters and social media.

Strong writing skills are an absolute must for this role, as is a keen eye for design and high levels of digital literacy. As an adept communicator with excellent attention to detail, you’ll be able to turn your hand to anything, from magazine features to short form videos, keeping abreast of the latest trends.

A natural people person with innate curiosity, you’ll embrace opportunities to visit our care homes and housing schemes and capture the stories of life with us – not just those of the older people who live there, but also those of our brilliant staff and volunteers. You’ll then devise creative ways to share these stories so they connect with our different audiences, from prospective residents to new supporters and beyond.

A self-starter, you’ll need to be able to work independently within agreed brand guidelines and with minimal supervision. You’ll also need to be highly organised, ensuring that deadlines are met and that content lands in a timely manner. Through analytics, you’ll monitor engagement, using these insights to inform our evolving content plan and drive growth.

As well as creating compelling content for our core communications platforms, you’ll also provide valuable support to our ambitious press plan, helping to amplify the voice of Pilgrims’ Friend Society in local and national media.
