As Policy and Public Affairs Manager, you will help ensure London Youth is a credible, influential voice on issues affecting young people and the organisations that support them. Sitting within the Fundraising and Communications Directorate, you will work closely with the CEO, senior leadership, and youth participation, communciations, fundraising and delivery colleagues to deliver demonstrable external influence and impact. 

You will craft clear, evidence-based policy positions that shape debate and influence decision-making at London and national level, ensuring the policymakers understand and respond to the realities facing young people in London. Through effective internal engagement, you will also ensure colelagues and our members are well-informed and equipped to respond to key policy developments. 

You will successfully represent the voice of London Youth's members and the young people they support, helping to secure greater recognition, investment, and support for youth services. By building strong relationships with policymakers, parliamentarians, and sector partners working to address the issues affecting young people inthe capital, you will help position London Youth as a trusted and respected contributor to relevant policy discussions. 

At a time of significant change across the youth sector, you will play a central role in campaigning for systematic change and in building the profile of London Youth and the wider voluntary sector as the Government's 10-year National Youth Strategy, Youth Matters, is implemented. You will help ensure commitments translate into meaningful outcomes for young people, particularly in relation to youth services, enrichment opportunities, and support for young people not in education, employment, or training, and strengthen long-term investment in youth provision. 

What you will be doing 

You will lead the development and delivery of London Youth's policy and public affairs work, building a clear and consistent understanding of the London and national context for young people and youth organisations. Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, including communications, fundraising, delivery, and MEL, you will help develop a clear and compelling case for support and influence. 

You will work in close partnership with the CEO and CEO's office, acting as a trusted policy adviser, supporting the CEO's external policy engagements, positioning, and relationships with senior policymakers and influencers. 

You will monitor emerging political and policy developments and relevant funding announcements, providing insight and analysis to identify opportunities for engagement. You will draft swift organisational responses to key policy announcements, in collaboration with the CEO and communications team, and ensure relevant intelligence and opportunties inform the work of the fundraising team. 

You will develop, maintain, and communicate evidence-based policy positions, insights, and priorities, convening our members regularly to inform clear policy asks and advocacy. You will shape briefings and consultation responses that reflect the needs of London Youth's members and the young people they support. You will shape policy positions and provide high-quality briefings ahead of key senior-level engagements. 

You will oversee and track our policy influencing activity, identifying emerging policy developments, coordinating internal input, engaging stakeholders and representing London Youth in external policy and public affairs forums, and reporting on the impact of our policy work. 

You will strengthen policy work through insight and engagement, analysig relevant data and research from our membership and working with the Learning and Impact Lead to ensure insights from London Youth's network inform policy development. You will also identify opportunities for members and young people from our Youth Board to engage in policy work, including through consultations, networks, and events. 

You will build and maintain strong relationships with key London and national stakeholders, identifying opportunities for partnership working with other organisations and ensuring London Youth has a visible, credible voice in debates affecting young people. 

You will contribute to London Youth's communications, campaigns, and profile, working with colleagues to shape policy activity across digital channels, produce engaging written content including articles and speeches, craft organisational messaging, support youth-led engagement, and contribute to London Youth's thematic networks, influencing events and media opportunities. 

What you bring to the role 

Knowledge and Experience: 

• Strong understanding of how policy is developed in the London and national context, and experience of engaging with political agendas on behalf of a charitable or membership organisation. 
• Experience in developing robust policy positions, responses, and solutions, and influencing politicians and decision-makers. 
• Up-to-date, proven experience in public affairs, parliamentary engagement or a related policy-influencing role, with a clear track record of driving meaningful change. 
• Good understanding of UK parliamentary and government processes, and of current policy areas impacting young people in London and across the UK. 
• Experience of producing a range of briefings and written materials, including research findings, public statements, consultation responses, and briefings for senior colelagues. 
• Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships with opinion-formers and other key stakeholders.

About the role

We’re looking for a Statutory Fundraising Manager to lead and grow our statutory income at a pivotal time for Sense. Statutory fundraising is a key growth area, and this role will shape our approach to securing funding from government bodies, lottery funders and public sector partners.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new funding opportunities, including six-figure (and ideally seven-figure) grants.
• Lead the development of high-quality funding bids, working with senior leaders and operational teams to shape strong programme proposals.
• Manage relationships with statutory funders, acting as the main point of contact and overseeing all narrative and financial reporting.
• Take responsibility for statutory income and expenditure budgets, ensuring accurate financial and programme reporting.
• Stay up to date with sector developments to identify emerging opportunities aligned with Sense’s strategy.
• Develop and contribute to partnership and consortia bids with external organisations, academic institutions and service providers.

About you

You’ll be an experienced statutory fundraiser with a strong track record of securing significant funding and managing funder relationships. You’ll be confident working with senior stakeholders, comfortable with financial and impact reporting, and motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful difference.

You’ll bring:

• Proven success securing income from statutory and lottery funders, including six-figure grants (seven-figure desirable).
• Experience developing funding proposals aligned to organisational strategy, including monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
• Strong experience managing relationships with government and public sector funders.
• Confidence in budget setting, financial reporting and income/expenditure management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including bid and report writing.
• Strong planning, organisational and stakeholder-management skills.

The Role

Nottingham Contemporary is a leading centre of contemporary art in Europe, and among the largest spaces of its kind in the UK. The Person

This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in fundraising for a renowned arts organisation, and we’re looking for someone who is proactive and enthusiastic for the challenge! Your ability to be adaptable, calm, and to manage a busy workload will be vital when administering bids, preparing reports, and researching donors and funding opportunities. A team player, you’ll enjoy working collaboratively and supportively with internal colleagues and external stakeholders. You’ll have excellent written and verbal communication, and your strong organisational and project management skills will come in handy when managing cross-team funding applications and organising events for donors, funders and prospects.

UD Music Foundation is a Black-led National Youth Music Organisation based in Stratford, Newham, with a 25-year track record rooted in Black music culture. Founded by musicians in 2000, UD educates, empowers and creates life opportunities for young people, addressing racial and socio-economic inequality through talent development, skills building and pathways into the music industry.

This is a senior, hands-on operational role in a small, mission-driven organisation. You will take ownership of our core operational, administrative and reporting systems—bringing structure, consistency and follow-through across calendars, documentation, records, deadlines and organisational processes. Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, you will help ensure UD runs smoothly, reliably and responsibly.

You’ll play a key role in:

• maintaining strong operational and administrative systems and accurate records

• coordinating funder reporting, monitoring returns and evidence collation across grants

• supporting financial administration (invoices, expenses, contractor payments) and audit readiness

• coordinating governance administration with the CEO (board papers, registers, policy updates)

• supporting project delivery administration including events, workshops and performances

• overseeing operational compliance administration (data protection, safeguarding, health and safety)

This role is for someone who enjoys being the organisational “glue”—methodical, calm, and highly organised—with strong judgement, attention to detail and confidence managing competing deadlines. It is not a programme-leading or strategy role.

About the role

We are seeking a persuasive writer and relationship builder, with a strong track record of income generation from trusts and foundations, and experience of statutory bidding. Coram is a complex organisation, so you will enjoy dealing with a very varied range of projects and service activities to seek out the information you need, have a strong eye for detail, and be able to think and prioritise logically. We’d like you to build on our existing portfolio of funders, developing them and bringing in new ones, whilst also managing statutory tenders from start to finish.

Role Overview: Reporting to the CEO, the Senior Fundraiser will lead funding  applications, relationship-building with donors and stakeholders, and the development of systems and tools to support sustainable growth and income generation through fundraising.

Role Tasks and Responsibilities: 

Strategic Planning and Leadership:

• Inform development of a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with the charity’s mission, long-term goals, and emerging priorities.
• Identify and develop fundraising-related policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practice.
• Provide strategic advice to the CEO on funder requirements, including appropriate metrics, outcomes, and impact reporting expectations.

Fundraising and Income Generation:

• Develop a detailed fundraising blueprint, outlining language, approach, and strategy for each voluntary income stream (e.g. Trusts and Foundations, Individual Giving, Legacy, Corporate Partnerships).
• Identify, develop, and submit funding bids and proposals.
• Ensure that the charity's website and digital channels are optimised to support fundraising efforts, including donor journey mapping and supporter newsletters.
• Develop, launch, and oversee a legacy donation programme, including campaign planning.
• Use and develop AI ‘training’ document/s to enhance the efficiency and quality of funding applications.

Relationship Building and Stakeholder Engagement:

• Map and cultivate relationships with donors, funders, members, and other stakeholders, including individuals within the network who have capacity to give.                                                       
• Attend the board’s fundraising subcommittee, working closely with the CEO and trustee board subcommittee representative to agree agendas and facilitate meetings.
• Provide regular updates to the CEO on fundraising progress, opportunities, challenges, and risks.
   

 Operational Development and Systems:

• Support the adoption and use of Beacon (CRM platform), contributing to the development of internal fundraising systems and processes.
   

General Responsibilities

• Uphold and promote EoLDUK’s mission, values, and policies.

• Demonstrable success in securing high-value funding
• Excellent verbal/written communication and persuasive writing skills for making compelling cases and reports to diverse audiences

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Trust Fundraiser to join our Communication and Fundraising Team. In this new role, you’ll help secure funding that enables us to support our Diocesan Fundraising Operations for current and future endeavours! You’ll be responsible for researching, writing and submitting high-quality grant applications, as well as nurturing relationships with existing and new grant funders. Your work will directly support the sustainability and growth of our diocese for the next generation.

From creating persuasive funding proposals to managing reporting and impact updates, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our funders see the difference their support makes across the Diocese of Salford. Main Responsibilities
