About Airplay:
Airplay is a national youth work programme delivered by a partnership of YMCAs on behalf of the RAF Benevolent Fund (RAFBF). We provide year-round activities and support for children and young people aged 5–18 at RAF Stations across England, Scotland, and Wales, as well as online through Airplay Connect. As the lead partner, One YMCA oversees the contract, manages central functions, and acts as the key point of contact for the RAFBF and RAF on behalf of the partnership.

The Role
We are seeking an Airplay Programme Manager to lead the Airplay Central Team and take overall operational responsibility for delivering and monitoring the Airplay programme.
Key responsibilities include:
• Leading and supporting the Airplay Central Team.
• Managing sub-contracting arrangements with partner YMCAs.
• Ensuring the programme achieves its objectives and delivers high-quality youth work.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the RAFBF and RAF.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience in programme or project management, ideally in youth work or a similar sector.
• Can lead and motivate a team across multiple locations, often working remotely.
• Is skilled in stakeholder management and building strong partnerships.

This is a full or part time role, dependant on the successful candidate.
Hours per week: 30-37.5 hours per week
Working Pattern: to be agreed with successful candidate. Generally Mon-Fri office hours, but flexibility is essential - the role will include regular travel to One YMCA Hatfield Hub and RAF Stations, some evening and residential work, including being part of an on-call safeguarding rota.

The responsibilities of the Senior Financial Accountant will include:
- Support the production of the GPA Annual Report and Accounts including provision of consolidation returns for Cabinet Office departmental accounts and Whole of Government Accounts
- Maintain and analyse accurate accounting records including preparation and monitoring of Statement of Financial Position reconciliations and accrual and other journals
- Monitor the effectiveness of key controls including those operated by outsourced service providers
- Prepare tax returns to deadlines including monthly VAT return and Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) returns
- Support the delivery of internal and external audits including provision of fully supporting and signposted evidence, monitoring of requests and responding to auditors in a timely way
- Support continuous process efficiencies and improvements across the function
- Build relationships with key staff across Finance and the business in order to maintain effectiveness and relevance during change
Key Skills & Experience
- Good experience of financial accounting
- Good knowledge and experience of VAT
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyse and interpret significant amounts of financial data

Reporting into the Strategic Finance Business Partner, this post will lead an established capital finance team, providing proactive and independent support to directorates while overseeing all financial aspects of the Council’s ambitious Capital Programme. This role will ensure the effective monitoring, budget setting, close down, and risk management of capital activity, while delivering robust financial appraisals and cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making.

The key duties of the Lead Accountant (Capital) will be:
- Lead a small finance capital team, ensuring high-quality service delivery across the Council’s ambitious Capital Programme.
- Co-ordinate capital monitoring, close down, and budget setting processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide robust financial appraisals and cost-benefit analyses for business cases to support senior decision-making.

The successful candidate will have:
- Full membership of CIMA, CCAB or equivalent, with post-qualification experience.
- A strong technical background with proven experience in capital accounting, financial reporting, and risk management.
- Demonstrable experience of managing and developing staff.
- The ability to communicate complex financial information to a wide range of stakeholders, both financial and non-financial.
- Experience of treasury, audit or statutory accounts would be advantageous.
- Ideally, a background in the public sector, but this is not essential.

The Psychologist/Psychotherapist will deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychological interventions, providing psychological assessments, formulations, and therapeutic support to asylum seekers and refugees with complex trauma-related mental health needs. This role will focus on the delivery of trauma-informed care, including interventions such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (TF-CBT) and Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET).
The psychologist/psychotherapist will work within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating closely with caseworkers, assistant psychologists, and other stakeholders to ensure the integration of psychological services into broader psycho-social support. - Delivering budgets and forecasts for each client, property and tenancy, using complex data from the MRI Horizon general ledger and other systems, Hyperion and Excel tools to provide accurate and meaningful financial information
- Being accountable for financial control over property services accounting, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction by providing accurate forecasting, explanations and billing
- Maintaining a focus on process improvement, including planning and establishing new systems and processes for quarterly financial reporting to ensure clients understand their costs and bills, delivering an ongoing service that meets and exceeds expectations
- Being the key liaison between senior finance and property staff for client meetings, involving being acutely aware of the customers’ needs and acting upon them, and being proactive in problem solving and finding solutions
- Leading the service delivery to clients alongside management accountants and other colleagues, supporting the growth of the GPA, and matching resources to client demand
- Manage due diligence exercises on estate-related financial information provided by the client and interrogate to identify material financial risks to GPA and ensure correct account treatments are applied.
Key Skills & Experience
- Be proficient in Microsoft Excel skills and able to manipulate complex data sets.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to analyse and interpret significant amounts of financial data
- Ideally, have experience in client finance, including reporting to clients, managing systems and processes, working in partnership with clients to deliver results
- Experience with property management systems such as MRI Horizon, Yardi Voyager, or similar systems, in addition to Excel and PowerBI (or similar) for financial reporting is desirable
- Ideally have experience in the property industry within medium to large organisations where customer service is a priority
