Working closely with the Director of Children, Young People, Families & Engagement, the Fundraising Manager and colleagues across the organisation, you’ll play a key role in strengthening engagement, supporting fundraising, and ensuring lived experience sits at the heart of everything we communicate.
About the role
- Lead day‑to‑day delivery of Centre 404’s communications across digital channels, campaigns and publications
- Maintain an engaging, accessible and consistent presence across our website, social media and e‑communications
- Create high‑quality, audience‑focused content that brings our work and impact to life

Thank you for your interest in the role of Interim CEO for Kent Sexual Assault & Abuse Service (KSAAS). This is a 6-month fixed term post to cover maternity leave.
KSAAS (formerly East Kent Rape Crisis Centre) has offered sexual violence services in East Kent since 1993 and we offer ongoing practical support and therapeutic services for survivors who have experienced any form of sexual violence at any time in their lives of in Kent & Medway . KSAAS holds UKAS accreditation through The Survivors Trust and is Professionally Approved By Rape Crisis England & Wales, demonstrating the consistent, high-quality services that we offer to our survivors.
KSAAS operates Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (ISVA) services and joint ISVA and Independent Domestic Violence Advisors (IDVA) services for those experiencing sexual violence alongside domestic abuse. We also offer trauma focused therapeutic counselling services for children, adolescents and adults and these services are accessible through various hubs across Kent & Medway. Peer support groups and family advocacy services are available to support families when there has been an occurrence of sexual abuse experienced by one or more family members and our services are supported and informed by the ‘Kick Back’ group, who are survivors of sexual violence who offer help, support and advice to other survivors and inform our service development. We also have a range of volunteers who support us with various aspects of the service provision.
In addition to providing support and therapeutic services, a key function of the organisation is to robustly challenge the societal values, beliefs and behaviour which contribute to sexual violence, through proactive projects that aim to raise awareness, delivery of information sessions in educational institutions, delivery of NOCN accredited Rape and Sexual Abuse training, ongoing activism, challenging attitudes we encounter as part of our work with survivors, focused campaigns and participation in research focused on sexual violence.
In the last year, we worked with > 6000 survivors in our face-to-face services and specialist sexual violence Helpline service and in April 2026 we extended our provision and scope and have been commissioned to be the main provider of ISVA and Therapeutic Support services across Kent & Medway, funded by the Police & Crime Commissioner.
We are looking for an inspiring, motivated and innovative woman who is driven by feminist values to be the figurehead of our organisation, providing empowering leadership to the team, strategic oversight of the organisation and to ensure an outstanding service for all survivors of sexual violence. Main Purpose of The Role
The CEO is the figurehead of KSAAS and has overall responsibility for the management and performance of the service and strategic development and growth of KSAAS in collaboration with the core team, key stakeholders, Board of Trustees and survivors. The overarching duties and responsibilities of the CEO is responsible for the following:

Main Responsibilities of Post:
Strategic Leadership
• Develop an in-depth understanding of the issues faced by women and girls who are subjected violence and the staff who support them within the service
• Develop an in-depth understanding of local, regional and national agendas regarding sexual violence against women and girls within the service
• Review the aims, vision and mission of the organisation in collaboration with our survivors, staff, board of trustees, business partners & umbrella organisations
• Work collaboratively with the board of trustees, business partners, staff and service users to develop evidence based strategic priorities for the service and a rigorous business plan that addresses key priorities
• Lead, motivate and encourage the KSAAS staff team to provide excellent services in support of the strategic plan
• Be the leading voice of KSAAS locally, regionally and nationally, ensuring that KSAAS and its mission, campaigns, and services are consistently presented in a strong, positive image for the benefit of survivors of sexual assault and abuse.

Finance and Funding

To be eligible for this role, you need to evidence the following knowledge, skills and experience, at least in part:
• A successful track record of leadership within an organisation of comparable complexity or across a significant area of work, including strategic, financial and operational planning.
• Experience of successful financial management of a complex budget and oversight of income generation from a variety of sources.
• A track record of successfully managing and leading people who work across a range of sites and an understanding of the challenges faced by staff working with sexual violence survivors

The governance and policy manager is a senior strategic and operational role responsible for leading, coordinating, and strengthening all governance-related functions across World Physiotherapy. Reporting directly to the CEO, the role ensures the organisation consistently meets the highest standards of governance, compliance, transparency, and accountability, in line with its global mission and constitutional framework.
The postholder serves as a key advisor to the CEO, board, and leadership structures, ensuring governance systems are robust, efficient, and appropriate for an international membership organisation. The role works closely with member organisations (MOs), regions, and speciality groups to enhance governance practices, ensure policy alignment, and support coherent decision-making across the global network.
The role also contributes to organisational direction by actively participating in the development and implementation of the World Physiotherapy strategic plan and supporting alignment with regional and other strategic plans.
1. Governance leadership and oversight
- Lead, coordinate, and oversee all governance functions and activities across World Physiotherapy.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with the constitution, bylaws, policies, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Regularly review and update governance frameworks, systems, and processes to align with international best practices.

Education and qualifications

Position Overview:
Epic is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Programs team to manage relationships and grants of nonprofits in our portfolio, and monitor and support their work over time. In particular, this role will lead the development and management of a learning community to support our grantees and alumni beyond our financial support.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nonprofit strategy and/or social entrepreneurship, experience in designing and facilitating peer learning and capacity-building initiatives, and a deep passion for social impact and strategic philanthropy.
The Senior Programs Manager will work under the supervision of the Programs Director and they will be part of a growing team with colleagues in London and Paris.

Key responsibilities:

Manage the relationship and continuous monitoring of portfolio organizations. This involves acting as the point of contact for a portion of the portfolio's organizations, including reviewing and analyzing monitoring data and supporting grant-making processes. .

Develop, promote and manage a program made up of initiatives and practices that contribute to the organizational development and growth of nonprofits. This would include developing capacity building initiatives and facilitating peer learning spaces responding to grantees’ needs.

Contribute to the selection of strong organizations for the Epic portfolio. This will notably involve conducting due diligence following Epic's framework, reviewing processes and documents, conducting interviews with candidate organizations, and carrying out selection visits.

Job Purpose
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our grants team to support the charity in delivering approximately £5m of grant awards per year.
The Senior Grants Officer will play an active role in supporting Alder Hey Children’s Charity’s grant development and awarding process, liaising with Trust colleagues on grant applications and awards.
The post holder will work closely with fundraising teams to support donor asks and ongoing stewardship.
They will also support the Grants Manager in developing systems and processes for effective grant management, including maintaining up-to-date records on Salesforce.
Main Duties / Tasks
Grant Programme Delivery & Oversight
- Oversee application pipelines and grant status, ensuring efficient progression and escalating issues where required
- Monitor applications in development, ensuring alignment with Charity priorities and Theory of Change model
- Support small grants assessment meetings, including follow-up actions such as applicant liaison and issuing grant letters
- Respond to enquiries from grant holders, managing or escalating risks and underperformance
- Ensure fundraising teams are kept informed where external funds are attached to grants
Applicant & Stakeholder Support
- Act as a primary point of contact for grant applicants, advising on eligibility, criteria and application processes
- Build and maintain effective relationships with Trust staff, charity colleagues and external partners
- Represent the grants team in internal meetings where required
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
- Support monitoring of KPIs, including turnaround times, ensuring performance targets are met
- Identify opportunities to improve grant processes, systems and documentation
- Share learning and best practice across the charity
Programme Development
- Contribute to the development of grant programmes aligned with Charity priorities
- Support creation and improvement of applicant guidance and programme materials

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
Essential:
- Experience in the charity, voluntary, public or philanthropic sector, ideally in a grants or programme role
- Knowledge of assessing grant or funding applications, including reviewing proposals and budgets
- Experience of administration and management processes, including record keeping, due diligence and reporting
- Experience using databases or grant management systems
- Experience managing multiple applications or projects to deadlines
- Understanding of governance and good practice in grant awarding and reporting

What You’ll Do
You will be providing expert advice, guidance and support to specialist and senior volunteers and staff, in the management and application of a range of Samaritans quality assurance policies and procedures.
