The Head of Finance will primarily have responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities. You will have direct responsibility for the finance function.
The role will also be responsible for partner relationships with external accountants and auditors.
The successful candidate will be joining Eikon at an exciting time as the organisation builds innovative ways to deliver services to young people, including strengthening the evidence to influence increased strategic investment in preventative and early support for children, young people and the adults around them. You’ll be a crucial part of the leadership team, contributing to the vision and strategy of the whole organisation, and ensuring the organisation is in control of its current and future financial position and strategy to achieve Eikon’s vision.
To succeed in this role, you will need to manage competing priorities and build effective relationships with senior level colleagues and teams, the Finance Trustee and the Board of Trustees.
You will ensure systems, internal controls and financial management are in place to meet Eikon’s financial, contractual, statutory and legal responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Day to day financial management of the organisation, including:
· Ensuring the delivery of monthly management accounts
· Building and maintaining the systems for setting and managing annual financial organisational plans, budgets and quarterly forecasts
· Proactively manage the income and expenditure of the charity advising the management team on income shortfalls and overspends on expenditure relating to unrestricted and restricted funding
· Oversee and manage the charity’s finance operations including expenses, invoicing, payments and cash management
· Developing greater financial literacy across the organisation by building and maintaining accessible and clear systems and processes, and providing advice to budget holders
· Reporting to the Eikon Leadership and Management Teams, Audit and Finance Committee and the Board of Trustees
· Support and review of funding applications, commercial arrangements and contractual performance
Leadership Across The Charity
· Contribute to Eikon’s overall vision and strategy through membership of the Senior Leadership Team
· Contribute to monitoring the performance of the charity against its key objectives and to any corrective action that is needed
· Working with the CEO, Senior Leadership Team, the Finance Trustee, develop and implement the financial strategies that enable the successful delivery of the organisational vision and strategy
· Provide insightful financial analysis to inform key decision-making on growth opportunities, ensuring a balance between risk management and sustainable organisational expansion
· Develop appropriate process and systems improvements across the organisation that enable performance enhancements of the finance function
Maintain effective internal accounts and leading on statutory reporting and annual audit, including:
· Ensuring financial procedures and delegated authorities are fit for purpose, adhered to and up to date
· Ensure compliance with applicable legislation and regulatory guidance for financial and tax reporting
· Ensure compliance of all statutory requirements and accounting in accordance with the Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) and the Companies Act
· Lead on the preparation of the Annual Statutory Financial Statements, liaise with auditors and ensure accounts are filed on time with the Charity Commission and Companies House

Prostate Cancer Research is seeking a an experienced, dynamic and driven Trusts & Statutory Executive. The role will take a lead on identifying and securing collaboration and funding opportunities with both existing and prospective partners, developing and managing a pipeline of funding partners that align with PCR’s mission and core programmes of work.
Since 2018, PCR has significantly increased income from Trusts & Foundations and Statutory sources, as well as working in collaboration with other medical research charities and non-profits. This is a newly created and integral role within the Partnership Fundraising team to build on this work and will be key to identifying and nurturing relationships with prospective partners and funders, as well as developing and implementing comprehensive partnership strategies to engage existing and prospective partners.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of developing and nurturing relationships with funding partners (with experience of identifying and securing at least five-figure income), understanding complex issues and working with others to identify solutions, and producing compelling funding proposals in support of this work. Job Summary
The Finance Business Partner in Volunteering is responsible for providing the first line of support and assistance with the development of financial plans, analysis of the financial performance and forecasts of the Adult Volunteering area, in order to provide high quality business insight to both support and influence strategic decision making by St John’s management teams. They will be a key member of the Financial Planning and Insight team to ensure delivery of the annual three-year budgeting process, that is aligned to strategic operational plans. This will require regularly meeting with relevant stakeholders to critically review and challenge reported performance against agreed plans. This role will not only look after the Adult Volunteering part of the organisation but support some other overheads/areas within the organisation.
About You
You are a fully qualified professional accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA). Ideally you have gained experience in the charity sector and large complex organisations. You can demonstrate previous experience in a finance business partner role with a track record of supporting the end-to-end processes for in-year forecasts and annual budgets and three-year plans that are aligned to business strategy. You have significant experience in managing the day-to-day, monthly and annual production of management accounting processes. To be successful you can demonstrate excellent skills in influencing with confidence and gravitas to respectfully challenge. You are naturally curious with a genuine interest in change and technology. You take personal ownership and possess a flexible 'can do' mind set and you are able to build and maintain effective networks both internally and externally.
About the Role
- Deliver high quality business and financial analysis, with detailed outcomes and benefits, to identify and present coherent rationales for change, to support continued coordinated, consistent and effective delivery of services across St John
- Provide impactful and effective finance business partnering to St John Budget Holders, the Senior Management and Executive Teams
- Work with the relevant stakeholders, to timetable in the production of the charity’s monthly management accounts and the annual budgeting and in-year forecasting process that is the aligned to business plans

JustMoney Movement is seeking a part-time Fundraising lead to help us grow a more sustainable funding base. The role will work with senior staff to develop our strategic case for support to target small organisational/ institutional donors (£1-5k grants/ donations).

Role description
· Grade 3.1 expected FTE salary £35,700 pro-rated to 0.4 FTE/ 14 hours a week = £14,280 (subject to annual inflationary pay review).

About the Role
Through line management of your team and in collaboration with partners, you will ensure that the Youth Zone is accessed by all young people who need it the most. What You’ll Do
