Role Overview
As the Social Media Manager, you will play a key role in enhancing 20/20 Levels’ digital presence by creating, managing, and growing our social media platforms. Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Management
● Manage the 20/20 Level’s social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube), including content creation, scheduling (using programs like Later), and engagement.
● Create compelling written, visual, and video content that aligns with 20/20 Levels' mission and brand, including graphics, reels, captions, and TikTok posts.
● Monitor social media channels for trends, conversations, and mentions related to our industry and brand.
● Design materials for internal communications, including newsletters, announcements and marketing materials and team updates
● Assist in maintaining a content library, organising media assets, and archiving materials for future use.
● Collaborate with our Marketing and Communications Lead to brainstorm and contribute creative ideas for campaigns and promotions.
Community Engagement
● Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
● Foster meaningful conversations and positive online interactions to strengthen audience relationships

About This Role
As Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of some of Smart Works most visible and multi-faceted partnerships that support our vision of ensuring that any unemployed woman is able to transform her life through the positive power of employment.
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships, your portfolio will span a range of sectors, including consumer, technology and finance. This varied portfolio of partners encompasses a range of giving mechanisms, including philanthropy, charity of the year and cause related marketing.
Alongside managing a portfolio of national partners, you will also be responsible for achieving income targets, cultivating and stewarding relationships, thinking creatively and strategically to grow and retain partnerships.
This role will work with the wider Partnerships team and our local Smart Works centres to secure and develop local partnerships (outside of London) and embed national partnerships across our 12 UK centres, maximising opportunities to benefit the whole of Smart Works Group.

Purpose:

Event Management

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Internal Communications Officer to work as part of our Head of Internal Communications Team.

The objectives of the Campaigns and Communications team are to increase the public profile of Rethink Mental Illness, mobilise public and parliamentary support to bring about change and ensure that all colleagues are aware of, bought into and engaged in contributing to the values and direction of the charity.

We’re Rethink Mental Illness, a leading charity provider of mental health services in England. We support tens of thousands of people through our groups, services and advice and information. And we train employees, employers and members of the public on how best to support someone affected by mental illness. All of this work guides our campaigning for the rights of people living with mental illness and their carers.
Over 850 dedicated people work for Rethink Mental Illness, across our operations directorate, external affairs and our corporate services. Working from offices, services and homes across England all colleagues are central to our mission. Our small internal communications team plays a critical role in ensuring that all colleagues are aware of, brought into and engaged in contributing to the values and direction of the charity. Influencing skills and the ability to promote great internal communications practice across the charity form an essential part of this role.

What the job involves
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men and it’s harming too many lives. At Prostate Cancer UK, one of our top priorities is funding research that leads to real change. It’s vital we do our best to make sure this research makes a meaningful difference to men’s lives, and that’s where you come in.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Senior Research Officer to help us deliver our funding schemes and patient and public involvement work. This role sits in the Research Funding Team and will provide us with additional support during an exciting time while we implement a new grants management system. You’ll work across all our grant funding schemes, ensuring we are following best practise in research funding.
You’ll take responsibility for a small portfolio of active research grants, providing support and guidance to the researchers leading them. You’ll be a main point of contact for grant applicants, supporting them as they apply to us and will be responsible for running peer review. Using your understanding of research funding and administration, you’ll help make sure our funding schemes run smoothly and to time. You’ll work with colleagues to support patient and public involvement in research both in our review process and through our Patient Representative Network who help researchers make sure their work is focussed on the needs of men with prostate cancer.
This role is a fixed term to cover an internal secondment for 12 months.
What we want from you
We’re looking for a Senior Research Officer who is passionate about research and has a desire to develop knowledge of prostate cancer. You’ll hold a biomedical degree (or a degree in a related subject), or with equivalent experience gained in research funding, administration or the wider research sector.
You’ll already have a good grasp of how grant funding works and, ideally, some experience of research administration and peer review. Confidence in interpreting complex scientific information is important, as you’ll be using this knowledge to find the right people to peer review the grant applications that are submitted to our schemes.
You're also an accurate record keeper with a keen eye for detail and excellent time management skills. You're assured and clear in your communication, both written and verbal, and you're able to respond to a wide range of inquiries from researchers while always adhering to data protection and confidentiality best practices. Experience of using Symplectic’s Grant Tracker would be an advantage but is not essential.

In this new role, you will build strong relationships with teachers and Senior Leadership teams, in order to support them to embed our courses in their schools and across their Multi-Academy Trusts. You will work closely with the Senior Education Manager and existing Education Community Manager to build and implement recruitment and retention strategies, as well as being the first point of contact for educators.
