WCCM seeks to appoint an experienced, creative, and highly motivated Grant and Major Donor Fundraising Manager to lead fundraising and grant management across a global organisation dedicated to the teaching of Christian Meditation.
Working to the Executive Director, you will interact with our decentralised finance, marketing and communications staff and volunteers.
Together, you will nurture Major Donor relationships and create and manage appropriate donor stewardship schemes and rationalise our income streams.
You’ll ensure grant reporting and management is kept on track whilst developing targeted proposals for new funding from sympathetic donors in the arena of Trusts and foundations.
You will work to support both our teaching and resourcing of meditation and the running of our retreat centre in Bonnevaux, near Poitiers in France.
An excellent writer with excellent financial and budgeting skills, you will be adept at pulling together relevant, succinct and compelling information for our donor reports and bids.
You’ll work with communications staff to develop impactful donor communications which enhance our accountability and inspire renewed major donations.
You will have a demonstrable track record in winning grants as well as in the stewardship of major donors.

Crisis is the national charity for people experiencing homelessness. We have embarked on our 10-year strategy for ending homelessness. We know it is not inevitable. We know together we can end it.
Location: Based in London office, E1, with the team meeting in person to collaborate once per week. You would use your proven ability to build strong relationships and secure four- to five-figure gifts to manage a dynamic portfolio of major donors and prospects, applying your understanding of moves management and the major donor solicitation cycle to engage, inspire, and retain support. Confident in working with high-profile individuals, you would use your excellent communication and influencing skills to deliver compelling cases for support, represent Crisis with professionalism, and create meaningful donor experiences.
Proactive and creative in your approach, you would work collaboratively across teams, integrate digital techniques to enhance engagement, and measure success against KPIs and targets. Above all, your work would be driven by a deep commitment to Crisis’ purpose and values—equity, inclusion, and the belief that together we can end homelessness for good.

The Marketing & Communications team is crucial to the success of the Almeida’s ambitious vision and the strategic priorities for the team include:
- Build and manage the brand of the Almeida Theatre across London, the UK and internationally.
- Take a strategic and data first approach to marketing and promoting the Almeida and its work in order to deliver income targets in excess of £3 million in ticket sales each year.
- Build and diversify the audience who experience our artistic programme and increase engagement levels among those currently least engaged in arts and culture.
- Engage with a significantly bigger audience than current ticket purchasers, curating a cultural conversation predominantly through the creation and distribution of digital content.
- Develop a segmentation strategy for audiences based on insights from our CRM system (Tessitura).
- Generate additional income from growth of the Almeida Membership and the promotion of auxiliary sales.
Key Responsibilities:
CRM:
- Lead on management of Almeida’s central CRM database, Tessitura, and act as principal point of contact with Tessitura for all system maintenance, development, and upgrades.
- Work closely with the Marketing and Development teams to maximise the use of our CRM systems and ensure they are fit for purpose and align with the goals of the organisation.
- Ensure the CRM provides an effective sales funnel and is an efficient sales process.
- Work with the Box Office Manager to set up on-sales for new productions and events.
- Update the information and content in TNEW (online booking system), working Box Office Manager to ensure a smooth sales path.
- Work with the Development team to enhance our insight into current and prospective supporters. In particular, working to support Membership recruitment and retention, to encourage donations.
- Work with the Marketing Manager to produce audience segmentation strategies.
- Help troubleshoot queries or issues, related to Tessitura filtering those that cannot be resolved internally through to the Tessitura support.
- Provide support to all of the key departments within the Almeida which generate and use data, including set up of users, and provide training as required.
- Be a key part of the Almeida’s GDPR team ensuring all our data collection and processing complies with all current and future data protection legislation.
Sales, Insights and Data:
- Compile and deliver sales reports and analysis to relevant departments across the organisation, including senior and executive leadership, tailoring reports to suit a range of requirements.
- Monitor ticket inventory and introduce strategies for managing ticket holds.
- Provide up-to-date data analysis and reporting on marketing activities to help improve the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Use sales data analysis to advise the Director of Marketing and Communications on ticket pricing strategies.
- Manage our digital audience survey (Survey Monkey) and Arts Council data collection platform (Illuminate), collating and reporting on the results and evaluation of campaigns and audiences.
- Help guide the Almeida’s audience development strategy through customer research and data analysis relating to existing and new audiences.
- Support other departments with data collection and analysis.
Other duties:
- Be jointly responsible for the accuracy of all marketing communications, maintaining the theatre brand at all times, and advocating for this across the organisation.
- Support the Marketing Manager with digital advertising.
- Help to develop and deliver marketing strategies to increase income from auxiliary sales such as merchandise and Almeida Café & Bar.
Person Specification
- Enthusiasm for theatre and the work of the Almeida.

Job Summary
The Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager, a newly established role within the Income Department, will be responsible for delivering our expanding portfolio of Corporate Partnerships while actively seeking out and securing new partnership opportunities.
MHI is at a pivotal point in its development, having experienced significant growth since launching in 2017. Over the past 18 months, a primary focus has been on cultivating strategic partnerships that not only support fundraising efforts but also align with broader organisational goals such as volunteering, volunteer recruitment, stewardship, and enhancing brand recognition.
Having secured three large longer term partnerships, we are now seeking a creative, passionate and knowledgeable Corporate Partnership specialist to lead on launching, relationship management, stewardship and growth and ensure all opportunities are maximised.
Working closely with the Director of Income, Head of Communications and Marketing and Senior Trust and Foundation Manager. You will work across income streams (major donors, trusts and foundations and commissioned partners) to spot opportunities for enhancing existing or developing new long-term, strategic corporate partnerships. You will also undertake regular horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify opportunities to develop new and innovative partnerships. This will include optimising the expertise and contacts of the Board, volunteer-base and other senior stakeholders.
We believe there is much more we can do, to work across income streams to develop multi-dimensional and long-term partnerships and the Senior Partnerships Manager will play a key role in delivering this.
There will also be the opportunity to recruit a corporate partnership manager to manage and work alongside, to really ensure high quality stewardship, whilst working on new business potential and brand alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture current high value corporate partnerships with a focus on maximising all opportunities, delivering first class stewardships and partnership retention.
- Ensure cultivation events, stewardship activities and partner communications are effective and appropriate for both prospective and current supporter audiences.
- Maintain excellent stakeholder relationships and a robust stakeholder management framework.
- Work closely with public fundraising to ensure a suitable suite of products and events are in place to effectively deliver partnerships with a high level of employee fundraising.
- Develop creative packages for support, drawing opportunities together across our white labelling and other commercial offers, employee fundraising, branding, volunteering and pro bono, to attract support from new sectors and deepen existing relationships.
- Build relationships with existing and new corporate prospects, leading on relevant meetings and negotiations, and engaging them with MHI’s work.
- Develop compelling content for proposals and pitches, ensuring information is well presented, accurate, and effectively adapted for different audiences.
- Proactively network and influence external partners, stakeholders, and decision makers at sector events by acting as an ambassador for MHI, representing the organisation at high levels internally and externally
- Work with the Director of Income to support corporate income forecasting and contribute to the annual budget-planning cycle
- Work with MHI legal counsel and Director of IT and Security to ensure that all fundraising activity complies with current charity and data protection legislation (UK GDPR) and the Fundraising Regulator’s Code of Practice.
- Maximise the benefits from the Salesforce CRM to achieve ‘best in class’ stewardship, across partner and supporter segments, ensuring seamless supporter journeys, and that every supporter of MHI receives timely and appropriate levels of information.

Person Specification
Essential
- 7+ years fundraising or relationship management experience
- Experience of managing six-figure, multifaceted partnerships in a charity setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with varying audiences
- Experience in securing new business and/or forming partnerships with companies/brands, including bid-writing and applications
- Experience of managing, influencing and negotiating with senior stakeholders, including encouraging participation and involvement
- Managing, forecasting and monitoring budgets to deliver against income and expenditure targets.
- Experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders within a company, and ideally with experience of encouraging fundraising participation and involvement at all levels
- Adaptable and responsive to the needs of a small team
