About the role

Coram’s Fundraising Team raises funds for the charity – the Individual Giving team has responsibility for supporter care, customer service and donor administration and managing our supporter database. Coram has been growing its investment in Individual Giving for a number of years, has a loyal and very generous supporter base and an ambition to see this grow and develop further by embracing new ideas. The team has an exciting future and this role will play a key part in its success.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Individual Giving team and support the development and growth of the programme. The role will involve developing engaging content to communicate the importance and impact of our work, inspiring existing and new supporters to commit to long term support of the charity. This will involve printed media but also increasingly digital media as we look to widen the reach of our communications and messaging. It will also require excellent supporter care/donor retention skills to ensure that we make sure we maintain our donors support over the long term and experience working with databases, ideally Raiser’s Edge. The role is a great next step for someone in fundraising wishing to develop their fundraising skills further in direct marketing.

The Programme Manager role will report to the Senior Programme Manager and sit within the Programmes Team.

The Programme Manager will be responsible for project managing a number of our services. You will have a clear focus of delivering high quality programmes that are run smoothly, efficiently, within budget, and achieve the desired outcomes and objectives for both the partners and the young people.

You will lead and support others within your team to deliver high quality programmes from initiation through to evaluation and review, that will directly contribute to the company’s growth strategy and impact.

The Programme Manager will also be a key member of the department and contribute to, departmental strategies, systems and maximising efficiency, delivering programme management to an excellent standard that produces high impact for our young people and partners.

The organisation

Every year in the UK, around 100 children are diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare and aggressive cancer that mostly affects children under five. Neuroblastoma UK is a small national charity dedicated to finding a cure for this life-threatening disease - and is seeking a talented Senior Communications Officer to help us raise awareness and profile. 

For 40 years, we’ve funded leading research to develop new, more effective and kinder treatments for children with neuroblastoma. You’ll be joining us at an exciting time for the charity as look to fund further research projects to help fight childhood cancer and save more young lives, and build our profile across the national media and social media channels, using the support of our celebrity patrons and families. 

The role

The Senior Communications Officer is responsible for press liaison, pitching in case studies and news stories about our research to the national press, building relationships with our celebrity patrons and families and creating content for our social media channels. A key part of the role is supporting the fundraising campaigns by helping to draft relevant copy for email campaigns and calls-to-action on social media. 

The charity has a small team, so everyone helps with thanking and banking, database management and administrative tasks. And this varied role gives plenty of scope to share creative ideas to develop our portfolio of community activities and challenge events, use your strong communication skills to support fundraisers and apply your excellent organisational skills to track impact and outcomes.

The role currently reports to a committed Board of Trustees, many of whom have a personal connection to the cause.

Responsibilities

• Developing and managing a communications strategy in support of key awareness raising events, fundraising campaigns, funded research, campaigning and family case studies.

• Writing, pitching and distributing press releases to the national media, building up relationships with key journalists.

• Working with the team to develop, maintain and deliver annual social media calendar     , developing engaging, impactful and relevant content, monitoring comments and engagements.

• Supporting the team in helping to produce email marketing copy for campaigns and in producing and maintaining content for the website.

We are looking for Senior Supporter Acquisition Manager to join our Fundraising directorate and lead a brilliant team to develop and implement a range of supporter acquisition marketing programmes and to achieve the growth ambitions of our Fundraising strategy.

The Supporter Acquisition team is responsible for all marketing to attract new supporters across a large portfolio of appeals/products and media.  We are looking for someone to join us who has significant expertise with a wide range of marketing channels and can really add value to large well-established programmes with their experience, knowledge and drive to continually improve, identify appropriate new opportunities and shape supporter acquisition programmes.

What we are looking for in our Senior Change Manager:

• Familiarity with change management theory, tools and techniques to deliver user adoption, behaviour and culture change, change impact assessments, and training
• Understanding of practical communication and engagement techniques 
• Understanding of user experience or service design methodologies
• Highly developed interpersonal, advocacy, negotiation and communication skills to be able to work effectively with a range of stakeholders. 
• A thorough understanding of current and emergent change management theories and approaches. 
• Capable and confident in presenting to and leading large groups of people in meetings and workshops
• Can effectively communicate the benefits of change, or influence and persuade others to adopt change.
• Ability to build strategic collaborative relationships and partnerships.
• Ability to deliver quality work in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to balance emerging and tight timelines and organise your own and your team’s priorities. 
• Experience of the development and implementation of significant parts of an organisation’s overall change and transformation portfolio, utilising change management methodology
• Experience working with senior stakeholders to understand, manage and challenge their assumptions about change.
• Experience of working in a matrix type environment, engaging with multiple sponsors and stakeholders.

About you
As our Face-to-Face Agency Manager, you will have the incredible opportunity to engage the public in the critical work we do, inspiring them to support children in need. Reporting to the Senior Manager Direct Engagement, you will lead the nationwide delivery of our face-to-face fundraising programme, ensuring its success day to day. 

In this role, you will:

• Drive the success of our face-to-face agency program, meeting and exceeding KPIs and targets through effective management of stakeholders.
• Manage budget allocation and optimization across channels, ensuring resources are utilized efficiently.
• Lead the implementation of compliance and safeguarding programs, maintaining the highest standards.
• Support delivery of our innovative fundraiser engagement program, optimizing performance and motivation.
• Utilize data-driven insights to adapt campaign delivery and drive continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with agencies through direct engagement and site visits, ensuring transparency and excellence.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and deliver exceptional results. Lead ad-hoc direct engagement projects as required, contributing to our mission-driven work.

To be successful, it is important that you have:

• Experience managing end-to-end face-to-face fundraising campaigns and teams.
• Deep understanding of the F2F fundraising landscape and agency models.
• Proven ability to design and deliver engaging training programs.
• Strong budget management skills and knowledge of charity marketing compliance.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to change, and drive results.

Ways of Working:
The majority of our roles can be performed remotely in the UK, but there are likely to be times when you will be required to come to your contracted office (up to 2-4 days per month or 6-8 days per quarter).  This will be agreed with your Line Manager and team and is intended to be time spent on collaborating with colleagues and relationship building.

This permanent role pays a salary of £40,000 to £45,000 per annum. This is primarily a homebased role and Changing Faces are happy to consider full-time or part-time (0.8 FTE) candidates. 

As the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will identify, cultivate, and secure new partnerships that align with their mission and strategic objectives. You will secure new corporate partnerships including corporate foundations, Charity of the Year, cause related marketing and strategic partnerships.

They are looking for someone demonstrable experience of working in a corporate partnerships/corporate social responsibility/marketing/sales environment.  The ideal candidate will have a track record of winning and delivering major charity & corporate partnerships (£50-100k+) with experience of pipeline development.

The Senior Legacies Manager is a reworked position that will manage relationships with high-value legacy pledges and create and implement a legacy marketing strategy for the Academy. About the role

• Responsible for legacy income of between £2.5-3 million a year
• Management of the legacy portfolio, ensuring excellent stewardship and communications to current and prospective high value pledgers
• Develop and implement a legacy fundraising and marketing strategy following an initial audit of the legacy programme and income
• Work with external legacy administration consultants, preparing reports for SMT and ensuring compliance
• Work with other fundraising teams to develop supporter journeys which include legacy pathways
• Ongoing internal engagement about legacies and the importance of legacy giving for the Academy
• Opportunity to develop an In-Memory product and structed In-Memory giving for the Academy

About you

• Experience of relationship based legacy fundraising as well as experience of legacy marketing
• Background from legacy fundraising at arts or Higher Education Institution is of specific interest but will consider candidates from the not for profit sector with the mix of relationship and marketing experience
• Candidates may also have a fundraising background from major gifts and legacy giving
• Able to see the potential of driving legacy acquisition and be able to build a proactive legacy marketing programme
• Interest in arts and culture with the ability to understand the passion that the Academy legacy givers have for the Academy
