The integrated team provide support to people with long-term mental health problems within a primary care setting, helping people develop their independence, self-management skills and achieve their recovery goals.

We are looking for a full time Mental Health Advisor to work alongside SLaM colleagues to deliver this service. As part of an effective Information Advice and Guidance team you will have the caseload management experience and skills to deliver focused, person-centred, individual support and IAG (Information and Guidance) on a wide range of social issues including housing, benefits, employment, socialising, liaising appropriately with specialists and professionals.

The role holder must also:

• NVQ Level 3 minimum or equivalent in either employment support/advice, mental health or other relevant area, or equivalent experience gained through work experience in the field.

About you:

To be considered for this role you’ll need an Accredited Debt Advice Qualification to Caseworker Level (Institute of Money Advisers Certificate of Money Advice or Community Money Advice Level 3 Award in Debt Advice or similar) with a minimum one-year experience of providing comprehensive Debt Advice in line with Financial Conduct Authority and Debt Advice Quality Framework. Role Purpose: 

Work Well is a government funded programme that offers an early-intervention work and health support and assessment service. This provides holistic support to overcome health-related barriers to employment, and a single, joined-up gateway to other support services. 

We work in partnership with mental and/or physical health clinical teams, GP practices and other referral partners who refer clients who are currently in employment but are experiencing difficulties in the workplace and require assistance to help them return to work, remain in work or find new employment. This programme will also support those who have fallen out of work to get the support they need to return to employment. That support will be tailored to their specific needs and circumstances. 

We need a Work and Health Coach to provide highly effective support to individuals and guide them on their journey to returning, remaining or finding new employment while also supporting them to improve their health and wellbeing. The Work and Health Coach will also be instrumental in supporting participants to remove health related barriers by sourcing and funding appropriate interventions.

About the role:

The Senior Multiple Needs Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) will work within a dynamic, crisis intervention, advocacy and support service based at the CGL Ealing Women’s Wellness Zone.  The IDVA will provide support in the local community and at the Ealing Women’s Wellness Zone.  The successful candidate will be co-located up to 5 days a week at the Women’s Wellness Zone.

The IDVA will be closely working alongside CGL colleagues/team to deliver support to women with a range of complex support needs including substance misuse, mental health, domestic abuse, sex working, trafficking, and offending behaviour. The IDVA will work in collaboration with their team members to holistically support women in the borough of Ealing to achieve sustained recovery, improved health and wellbeing, helping women to manage/mitigate risks, and empowering them to reach their fullest potential in society as well as ensuring the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process.

The Senior Multiple Needs IDVA will assess the needs and risks of survivors, carry out short and longer-term risk management, safety planning and support. As well as identify and refer to services appropriate to their needs. They will also proactively advocate and advice women of their rights and options for seeking help and support from other agencies, encouraging them to engage with other agencies, and help co-ordinate the provision of multi-agency support where necessary.

About You:

To be successful as the Senior Multiple Needs IDVA you will need to have:

Excellent understanding of domestic abuse and its effects on women and children, of best practice in supporting survivors of domestic abuse, and of the MARAC. As well as understanding of drug and alcohol issues and experience of working within a related field.

Bringing your experience of risk and needs assessment, safety and support planning, and crisis planning and successfully managing high numbers of referrals and experience of working in a co-located setting with another agency and providing consultations/briefings to professionals to support in upskilling them around Domestic Abuse. Health Professional Engagement Officer Role

We are looking for an experienced project officer who is a self-starter and thrives on challenges. You will work closely with the small PRDA admin team, a number of the trustees and a wide range of external stakeholders. You will have a passion for improving the lives of people affected by cancer, and will be keen to learn about the personal impact of PRD and how it can be treated. You will have energy, enthusiasm and creativity to go the extra mile to make your mark in this brand new role. You will have a proven track record of accurate administration, managing successful projects and working with health professionals, and be good at organising events and problem-solving. Previous experience of working in a health charity would be beneficial.

Key responsibilities:

• Build and support a Community of Practice for professionals and researchers who work on PRD, including organising face-to-face and online events.
• Support the work to develop and promote resources that enable better diagnosis, treatment and care of people with PRD (key resource is the PRD Best Practice Pathway).
• Support trustees to connect with professional organisations.
• Gather and disseminate information about services for people with PRD.
• Gather and disseminate news about education, training and research on PRD.

Purpose of the job 

This role is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding individual to join the UK Youth Fundraising team. This role focuses on identifying and securing new income generation opportunities with Corporate Partners across strategic, commercial and charity of the year style collaborations. 

Key responsibilities

• Lead and secure income from new corporate organisations and achieve new business targets
• Identify new corporate opportunities to add to the new business corporate pipeline
• Pro-actively engage new businesses using a range of methods: e.g. working with senior stakeholders, events, networking, cold calls, emails, LinkedIn
• Develop and strengthen warm relationships with prospective funders and find opportunities to engage them in the work of UK Youth
• Develop corporate bids, budgets and proposals, managing the process across different teams, cultivating strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Create and present high quality, persuasive funding bids to C-suite audiences and senior stakeholders
• Present and attend meetings alongside senior leaders and stakeholders at UK Youth
• Work with the Senior Partnerships Manager to identifying new streams of income from different corporate audiences
• Work with the Senior Partnerships Manager to develop the corporate partnerships offer beyond income generation, identifying opportunities for corporate partners to offer their skills and expertise to further UK Youth’s charitable objectives
• Ensure all donations are accurately recorded and recognised, working closely with the finance team
• Ensure that the CRM is up to date and accurate at all times
• Keep up to date with trends, research and data on fundraising and corporate partnerships, helping to inform long-term strategy

Experience we're after

• Demonstratable experience in a sales or corporate fundraising role, working on six – seven figure proposals
• Proven track record of corporate partnerships fundraising/ securing sales targets from new organisations
• Experience of working in a busy and deadline-driven environment and achieving ambitious targets
• Experience negotiating, pitching and presenting to senior (C-suite) internal and external stakeholders
