We are seeking a Senior Fundraising Operations Executive to join our team and support operations for high value fundraising activity, covering the Corporate, Community and Philanthropy teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting High Value Operations: You’ll work on a variety of regular and project-based high value operation activities with a focus on our Corporate and Community Teams, including:
- Supporting project planning and evaluation.
- Managing inductions and overseeing training programmes.
- Administering contracts and overseeing risk management for partners and supporters.
- Reporting on prospect management and supporter engagement within the team.
- Batching income and expenditure.
- Database Oversight: You’ll ensure our database remains accurate and current, upholding best practices and fostering continual improvements.
- Keeping our fundraisers in the loop: You’ll be responsible for maintaining our central information hub, guaranteeing that our fundraisers are well-informed and equipped to secure essential funds.
We have ambitious plans to significantly grow our High Value income over the next five years. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to this growth through innovation, problem solving, and process support.
About the team
The High Value Operations team provides expert support to fundraisers in the areas of systems, processes and planning to enable efficient and effective high value donor facing activity.
This role reports into the Operations Manager in the High Value Operations team, which includes 8 members and supports high value activity across the Corporate, Community and Philanthropy teams.The Corporate team consists of 15 fundraisers, the Community team 52 fundraisers, and the Philanthropy team 9 fundraisers.
Working arrangements
This is a blended role, where your work will be dual located between your home and our London office.

About you
As our ideal candidate, you are a strategic navigator, adept at charting a course through complex fundraising landscapes. Your expertise lies in communication and relationship building, and you possess outstanding writing skills with demonstrable experience in crafting a wide variety of documentation for diverse audiences.
Your strong IT skills include proficiency with Microsoft packages, including an intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Project. You understand budgets, broad financial processes, and have extensive project management experience, covering scoping to evaluation.
In dynamic environments, your operational agility shines as you swiftly learn new skills, solve problems creatively, and are committed to operational excellence. You'll have successfully implemented operational processes, provided guidance, developed tools, and delivered training.
As a database expert, you have hands-on experience using a CRM database, such as Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics. With strong analytical skills, you can create reports and turn insight into action with ease.
Your ability to work methodically and with precision is evident, and you have experience handing sensitive and confidential information with tact and discretion, adhering to relevant legislative and organisational procedural requirements.

Job Description
Job Title: Wellbeing Navigator
Accountable to: Wellbeing Hub Manager and Senior Wellbeing Navigator
Accountable for: Working with the team and volunteers
Location: The Meritage Centre, Hendon, Barnet, NW4
Hours worked between: 9.30am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday pro rata
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Barnet Wellbeing Hub is an exciting new initiative that utilises a social prescribing model to support adults over 16 years old with common and long term conditions and/or social care needs to become involved in community activities. The Wellbeing Hub is an integral component of the overall Integrated Wellbeing Service Strategy for Barnet. A vacancy available for the right candidate to support the continued growth and development of the Social Prescribing offer in Barnet.
The hub acts as a referral Single Point of Access between statutory providers and community settings. A high volume of people are referred from statutory providers, other community organisations, or could self-refer to the hub. Staff will support individuals to engage with community activities.
The role of the wellbeing navigator team will be to provide a holistic service from referral through to discharge. They will work with partners to accept referrals into the service. They will welcome each person, provide a short triage to ensure that their conditions are appropriate ones for the service to assist, and then make appointments for them to visit for more in-depth assistance where necessary. They will also carry out background administration for this service such as logging individual details onto the service database.
MAIN TASKS
Individual Support
- Working with other team members, to provide first point of contact to all those accessing the service, whether face to face, by telephone or email.
- As part of a team, make contact to all people referred into the service.
- Provide a basic Triage service to people who are referred, either over the telephone or via appointments in the office.
- For those people with appropriate needs, book appointments for them to meet.
- Assist people to engage with community activities.
- Follow up with people who have used the service to ensure that they are engaging successfully.
- Provide a professional service that maintains boundaries, but is warm and respectful.
- Maintain individual confidentiality and respects equal rights and diversity.
Outreach work
Links with other community organisations and relationships with statutory services are integral to the success of the Wellbeing Hub. You will be working as part of the team to formulate an outreach work plan to support the Integrated Wellbeing Service working with our partners,
- Log all individuals accessing the service onto the central database in an accurate and timely fashion.
- Liaise with our partners and encourage collaborative and partnership working
- Build relationships and rapport with external partners
- Seek and generate referrals to the Wellbeing Hub and improve the community access into the Wellbeing Hub service
- Work flexibly at other premises, including GP practices, to deliver Emotional Health Checks to individuals based around the borough where appropriate
Administrative Duties
- Log all individuals accessing the service onto the central database in an accurate and timely fashion.
- Information logged should include people’s demographic information, presenting needs and any other case notes deemed to be appropriate.
- Log appointments for people to meet Wellbeing Navigators.
- Ensure that all paper or computerised records and documentation regarding the service is effectively and securely stored.
General duties
- To maintain accurate records to fulfil reporting requirements
- To adhere to all policies including equal opportunity policy and volunteer policy at all times
- Support the team in the setup and facilitation of events throughout the year and support the continued development of our activities
- Work with the team to support the recruitment and management of volunteers to create a team of hub champions to support the work of the navigators
- Attend and contribute to regular team meetings and supervision, as well as training sessions
- Carry out such other duties as deemed appropriate and may be reasonably required by the Service Manager.

We have an opportunity to lead our Health & Wellbeing Team as part of a job share working in collaboration with another senior manager.
You will manage, develop and market Hospital Discharge and Health & Wellbeing Services in Bromley and Greenwich and work in partnership with other providers. You will be responsible for all Hospital Discharge services and work closely with the Hospital as well as be an active member of the Senior Management team.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· To have oversight of the monthly and quarterly reports for the services
· The successful candidate will have responsibility for the following services:
o Take Home and Settle/ Hospital Aftercare Service
o Sitting Service
o Handy Person Service
o Frailty Care Navigator
o Long Term Health Conditions
· The work will include some on call responsibilities on evenings and weekends for the Hospital Discharge Services which an extra payment will be made.
· To work in partnership with other providers and health partners across both boroughs.
· To work within the Bromley Well partnership and maintain contact with BTSE
· To build a strong relationship with the hospitals and NHS staff
· To be responsible for health and wellbeing staff including undertaking supervision, guidance and support, allocation and monitoring of work plans, annual appraisals, identification of training needs and participation in the recruitment of staff.
· To work with the Chief Executive to devise and implement a marketing / publicity strategy to promote primary and secondary interventions and other services for older people.
· To work in partnership with older people, volunteers, statutory, voluntary and other agencies to initiate and deliver a programme of healthy living and recreational activities which meet the needs and aspirations of older people in Bromley and Greenwich identifying and developing new initiatives and partners.
· To be responsible for ensuring that risk assessments are undertaken of premises, outreach venues, client’s homes and other measures for the provision of a safe environment ensuring that all legislative requirements are met.
· To ensure that evaluation and monitoring of service/project outcomes is implemented, enabling Age UK Bromley & Greenwich to demonstrate the effectiveness and impact of the service delivery.
· To establish and maintain excellent working relationships with clients, work colleagues, volunteers and partner organisations
· To work alongside the Chief Executive to undertake long-term strategic planning of primary and secondary care interventions and other health and wellbeing services.
· To work with older people and with other groups, organisations and agencies in the boroughs to identify potential areas for health, education and social activities that older people want to participate in, and identify funding sources to develop and deliver the new areas of work.
· To be creative and innovative in designing new opportunities and projects for people to get involved across the boroughs in the co-delivery of services.
· To work with diverse and/or hard to reach individuals / groups who are not involved in their community, in particular targeting people who are socially isolated.
· To keep your knowledge up to date with the health priorities and health commissioning strategies in both boroughs to ensure our services are ‘fit for purpose’ and can contribute to the current overarching outcomes agreed between the local Authorities and the ICB.
· To be familiar with the Joint Strategic Needs Assessments (JSNAs) Health & Wellbeing Strategies and decisions agreed at the joint local authority and ICB & Wellbeing Boards.
