Main purpose of the role

We are looking for a Personal Assistant / Executive Assistant to the National Leadership Team and Board Secretary, based in our London office. You will have a key role in helping us build our capacity, effectiveness and support systems, working closely with the National Leader / CEO and our passionate and caring leadership team. 

In this pivotal role, you will:

• Provide high-quality administrative and logistical support to the National Leadership Team;
• Coordinate a range of L'Arche national meetings and forums for people with and without learning disabilities;

The Role

The Social Value Specialist will support SNG to embed impact measurement and social value into teams across the organisation, providing a central, efficient point of contact that leads on developing systems, processes and continuous service improvement.

You will engage with supply chain partners to ensure the delivery of social value in contracts and enable seamless customer service using digital platforms and relationships with community partners.

Connect with team members across the organisation to deliver impact reports and support in creating our annual ESG report.

The Social Value Specialist will report to the Social Value Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, plan and implement a community investment evaluation and monitoring framework, in direct alignment with the community foundation strategy and strategy and the corporate plan
• Work collaboratively across the multi-disciplinary community investment directorate and with other internal teams in the customer directorate across localities to embed a framework for social impact and outcomes recording
• Support the Social Value Manager to provide regular social impact and environmental social, governance (ESG) reporting to the communities' leadership team and to senior management and board when required
• Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation methods and processes for Community Foundation projects and roll out good practice to colleagues and external partners so we can effectively demonstrate our Social Impact
• Lead and support internal teams and external partners in the upload of data such as KPIs onto impact measurement platform for the business, ensuring that information is accurate and easily accessible when required
• Demonstrate strong project management skills to lead and oversee project teams across SNG and with external partners that will bring in external funding
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders, including funders, businesses, local authorities and national agencies as required by the Head of Service and managers
• Work closely with the communications team to enable a coordinated communications approach that raises the profile of SNG's work in communities
• Prepare and present written, financial and statistical reports to internal and external bodies as required and ensure funders requirements are met
• Demonstrate everyone safe and well everywhere, every day by making health and safety a primary consideration in your decision making

 What we need from you

A good understanding of HACT's Wellbeing Valuation and Social Value Insight would be an advantage, but this is not essential. It would be great if you have some knowledge or experience of working in communities, supply chains and or, monitoring and evaluation.

Working closely with the prison and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will lead the delivery and development of our prison-based reading and numeracy programme, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.

This role will be prison based. Role Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Executive Director to lead ProVeg UK in this next phase of growth and impact. • Strong entrepreneurial mindset and ability to develop and execute impactful strategies

The Role
The Head of Fundraising is a pivotal leadership role, reporting to the CEO and joining the SMT.

The evidence from the Charity Digital Skills Report; Joseph Rowntree's Grassroots and Nonprofits research and our own AI survey shows that charities are unlikely to benefit from - or respond to the challenges of - AI without intentional support and capacity building. To support charities’ (critical) adoption of AI we need to invest in supporting sector-experiments that create demonstrable impact (acting as showcases), working alongside the peer groups, charities and working groups to help move conversations into practical action.

To achieve that, we are looking to recruit a Head of Technical AI Experiments to focus on driving forward this work in a number of different ways:

• Providing direct support to organisations and specific technical advice;
• Building a range of experiments and tools alongside the sector;
• Supporting the design and development of specific programmes, training and interventions that will help shift the sector on AI

The role

To engage with and develop productive working relationships with the BDF membership helping to further their disability agenda over time using our knowledge, member services and paid for products where appropriate. The Lead Disability Business Partner has direct responsibility for their assigned Partners and indirect responsibility for the Partners managed by their direct reports plus overall responsibility for work allocation of the Senior Business Partner Team.

The Lead Disability Business Partner will be responsible for managing the workflow for the Senor Business Partners (SBP’s) allocating and quality assuring consultancy and Partner work as required.

The requirement

• Experience of providing business support/coaching to experienced professionals (A, I & T).
• Experience of providing consultancy, training and advice on disability related issues (A, I & T).
• Experience of line managing a sales/customer service team, a consultancy team would be an advantage (A & I)
• Experience of consultancy service business development (A, I & T).
• Knowledge of disability legislation and application in the workplace (A, I & T)

About the role

You’ll be responsible for the organisation, delivery and development of our in-person and online services for people with breast cancer. This includes coordinating service events in Northern Ireland, supporting the delivery of UK wide online services, recruiting, training and working with sessional staff and volunteers.

A key part of the role involves developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare and allied healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to promote our services and increase reach and uptake in Northern Ireland.

About you

You must have experience of organising, developing and delivering information, health or other support services and have knowledge of UK healthcare systems. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills help you manage successful relationships with a range of different stakeholders, often remotely. You are organised and have excellent time management skills. You use your initiative and prioritise your workload.

Working as part of a busy established team across different geographical sites can be challenging, you’ll will need to be a supportive and resilient colleague.

Flexibility to travel (throughout Northern Ireland and occasional travel in the UK) and work outside normal office hours, with occasional overnight stays is essential for this role.

ActionAid is looking for an experienced high value relationship expert to join the Trusts and Global Markets team as Head of Trusts and Global Markets. The role is crucial to the strategic direction of this area, part of the high value philanthropy and partnerships team at ActionAid UK. We’re looking for someone with strong experience of developing and running a high-end Trusts partnerships programme, with proven experience of building and maintaining relationships with Trusts or other major sources of income such as HNWI/corporates that has resulted in significant gifts and a proven ability to hit financial targets. 

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading, inspiring and developing teams, through periods of organisational change and uncertainty. The post holder will need to be an excellent networker, innovative, creative and be confident in influencing for results. You will be empowered to represent ActionAid and to take decisions quickly. Building and maintaining relationships with key trust and foundation donors

Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with organisational goals and objectives

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in finance, fundraising, or investment management, as well as excellent communication and relationship-building skills. A solid understanding of trusts, foundations, and global markets is also essential.
