We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Knowledge and Information Manager to lead our recently expanded Knowledge and Information team. In this role you will have responsibility for leading the development of our highly regarded information and resources, to support, and empower everyone affected by Crohn’s or Colitis. This includes our evidence-based online and printed publications, web content, research summaries and other information, ensuring it is relevant, and accessible to all.
You will be driving new initiatives and developing tactical plans for the team which meet our strategic objectives.
You will be a member of the charity’s Management Development Forum, providing leadership across the organisation and liaising with the Senior Leadership Team and contributing to the leadership, planning and delivery of cross-team projects.

About You
You will be skilled in the translation of complex medical and health information into engaging and accessible patient information, and have experience of working with patients and healthcare professionals to develop information resources in line with recognised standards.

- Experienced in appraising research and translating this for patients and the public

The Role

- Experience of leading and implementing strategies, including setting and overseeing strategic projects led by others.
- Experience of using CRM systems to their full potential, interpreting donor data, analysing findings and making decisions based on your analysis. Knowledge and experience of the Donorfy platform is desirable, but not essential.
- Knowledge of the homelessness or social inclusion sectors would be desirable, but not essential.

About the role

About you

You’ll also need field experience of working in different cultures and religious contexts. Proactive and creative in improving existing processes and developing new ones to improve efficiency and effectiveness, you’re adept at knowledge management within a demanding team environment and used to line managing and training, mentoring or capacity building a team.
You’re an excellent project manager too - someone who’s comfortable working on complex multiple tasks and prioritising to meet deadlines. Expertise in a specific technical area - e.g., child protection, health, nutrition, livelihoods, social accountability, resilience or economic development, would also be useful, as would working knowledge of a second language. More important however, is a general awareness of Christian teaching to appreciate the Christian ethos of WVUK and live their values. Senior Media and Campaign Manager
Contract: Fixed term contract for approximately seven months maternity leave cover. With either part time of 4 days (28 hours) per week or full time (35 hours per week) options available.

- Support staff who are conducting media interviews and develop their confidence in the media to give succinct and engaging lines to journalists.
Hospice UK are looking for someone who is collaborative, has superb news judgement and who is able to pivot quickly from project to project and story to story. You'll need a softness of touch when working with storytellers and hospice colleagues, and the patience and pragmatism to work with internal and external colleagues. You'll need to be decisive, and able to explain complex decisions to journalists and senior management. As well as strong media relations skills, we're looking for someone with a wider understanding of the full communications and marketing mix, and who will have some oversight and strategic control of the charity's digital channels.

The British Asian Trust is one of the most exciting and innovative charities working in South Asia. They were founded in 2007 by His Majesty King Charles III and a group of British Asian business leaders to tackle widespread poverty, inequality and injustice in South Asia. The Child Opportunity Fund’s goal is to create more safe spaces to ensure that millions of children can live their lives to the fullest potential. We are looking for an exceptional philanthropic fundraising leader, with experience of leading an appeal and first-hand programme management skills, to undertake a one year maternity cover as the Interim Head of Child Opportunity Appeal.
