Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager
Salary: £55,425 (inc LW)
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Location: London Hybrid – 2 days per week in office
Closing date: 31 July
Interviews: 11 and 18 August
Benefits: 33 days annual leave (inc bank holidays) increasing with service, generous pension scheme of 6% employer contribution with 2% employee contribution
We are delighted to be looking for an ambitious Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager to join GamCare, the leading provider of support for people affected by gambling harms across Great Britain. This is a unique opportunity to build and lead a corporate fundraising programme from the ground up at a pivotal moment for both the organisation and the wider sector it supports.
As part of this exciting role, you will develop and deliver GamCare's corporate fundraising strategy, creating a proactive and sustainable income stream that supports the charity's mission. You will identify, secure and grow high-value corporate partnerships, develop compelling propositions, and establish the systems, processes and stewardship frameworks needed for long-term success. Working closely with senior leaders across the organisation, you will act as a corporate fundraising specialist and trusted ambassador, building relationships across a range of sectors including financial services, technology, hospitality and major employers.

To be successful as the Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager, you will need:
- Significant experience in corporate fundraising or commercial business development, with a proven track record of securing five and six-figure partnerships.
- Experience developing compelling propositions, proposals and partnership solutions that align organisational and corporate objectives
- The ability to work strategically and independently, while collaborating effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders

About the role
We're looking for an ambitious, proactive and relationship-driven individual who excels at securing strategic, long-term corporate partnerships that drive the growth and impact of Spear. Joining our dynamic and growing Corporate Partnerships team, you will play a key role in developing and stewarding high-value partnerships that generate significant income and enable Spear to reach more young people facing barriers to employment.
This role is ideal for someone with strong business development and relationship management skills, who enjoys working both strategically and hands-on to generate income, develop compelling partnership opportunities and build lasting relationships with corporate supporters.
Key Information
- Salary: from £43,000 depending on experience
- Full-Time, One Year Fixed Term Contract
- Annual leave: 28 days annual leave (including Christmas gift days) plus bank holidays
- Closing Date: Friday 24th July (We interview on a rolling basis and will close the role early if we find the right candidate)

Person Specification
- A practising Christian, passionate about Spear's values and mission, with a desire to engage and inspire corporate partners to support young people facing barriers to employment into sustainable work.
- Significant senior-level experience in corporate fundraising, corporate social responsibility, business development or strategic partnerships.
- Proven ability to raise funds, develop business partnerships or drive sales. Excellent client management using CRM tools such as Salesforce are desirable.
- An excellent communicator with strong relational skills and the confidence and ability to develop a rapport with and positively influence a variety of people from diverse backgrounds in the corporate space.
- Excellent writing skills, attention to detail and accuracy, including the ability to produce compelling proposals for a professional, corporate audience.
- Demonstration of leadership capabilities; proactive, responsive and a self-starter. Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet targets and deadlines.
- Strong numerical, reporting and organizational skills, including the ability to establish appropriate and effective processes and structures.
- Line Management experience desirable but not essential.

About the position
The Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager - Individual Philanthropy (SSPM) is a key member of the Freedom Fund’s partnerships team, responsible for developing and implementing the organisation’s individual fundraising strategy. Based in New York and reporting to the Head of Strategic Partnerships, the postholder will work collaboratively with colleagues across the U.S. and U.K. to build and steward a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and help shape the broader strategic partnerships strategy.
This is a strategic, high-autonomy role with responsibility for building and managing a global portfolio of individual donors and prospects, guiding them through all stages of the donor lifecycle - from identification and cultivation to solicitation and stewardship. The SSPM will lead the design and execution of a donor experience strategy to enhance engagement, deepen relationships, and increase long-term support. They will design, curate and host donor salons, convenings, and engagement events in New York City and other priority cities, in order to grow our networks and generate new leads. They will also manage and coordinate the strategic involvement of senior leadership - including the CEO, Managing Director of External Relations, and Head of Strategic Partnerships - in high-level donor engagement.
