We are looking for a dynamic Senior Analyst to manage and deliver information, data, and analysis to help Youth Futures build evidence for impact.

You will work with the Head of Evaluation (Data Lead) and Principal Economist to support the design, delivery and management of data systems, and conduct analysis and research.  You will be responsible for ensuring evaluation data is in the correct format for uploading to the Secure Research Service. You will also use your analytical expertise to extract insights from data, identify trends, and liaise with policy and communication teams for external use. You will also support YFF's evaluation team in scoping opportunities for new evaluations, and critically review evaluation proposals to ensure designs are high quality and cost effective and that the most suitable evaluators are commissioned, Finally, this is also an opportunity to work on data visualisation projects to ensure the data and analysis is linked correctly and efficiently. This is an opportunity for an analyst with excellent analysis and data skills to work for a busy I&E directorate. 

This is an exciting opportunity to work directly with two teams in the Impact and Evidence Directorate. A part of the role will also be working with other teams, such as policy and communications, to translate complex analysis and evaluation findings into accessible, user-centred outputs and briefings for internal and external use.

This role can be based at any of our hubs located in London, Birmingham or Leeds.  We currently operate a hybrid model of two-days per week in the office and three-days from home.

New Art Exchange (NAE) is a pioneering creative space in Hyson Green, Nottingham. We’re the UK’s largest gallery dedicated to contemporary visual arts from the Global Ethnic Majority. Purpose of the role

The Community and Participation Manager will be a key member of NAE’s Neighbourhood’s team, responsible for ensuring the effective planning, coordination, and delivery of a wide range of community projects and events that engage and inspire our local communities (predominantly from the Global Ethnic Majority). Based from within NAE’s purpose built creative space, in the heart of one of Nottingham’s most diverse areas - Hyson Green, the post holder will work with local community partners, schools and other key stakeholders to ensure the community programme is representative of the diverse voices from our local communities and has their involvement through all that we do.

Main duties of the role

With strategic oversight from the Head of Neighbourhood develop and deliver a diverse range of activity with and for the community including (but not limited to) workshops, festivals, conferences, and functions, ensuring they are aligned with NAE’s overall vision, goals and budget.

Supporting the Head of Neighbourhoods to identify and secure external funding opportunities, sponsorships, and partnerships to support the events when required.

Act as lead contact with key stakeholders, including community groups, schools, partners, citizen panels, artists, vendors, and local authorities, to ensure smooth collaboration and communication.

Support the Comms team to develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to raise awareness of projects and events with a focus on attracting diverse audiences.

Manage budgets and financial reporting for community projects, ensuring that expenses are within budget and that financial records are accurate and up to date. In line with the overarching Neighbourhoods strategy, develop project plans, budgets, and timelines and maintain accurate records.

Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations and obtain necessary permits and licenses.

Lead project staff (including contracting and acting as project manager and day to day contact for them) which will consist of freelancers, contractors, and volunteers.

Track progress, address issues, and produce reports and evaluations for internal and external stakeholders, including NAE’s Senior Management Team and local community leaders.

We are looking for a Prospect Research & Donor Insight Manager to join the National Theatre Development Team.

The purpose of the role

This role is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of fundraising at the National Theatre, as we look to grow our income from individual members, major donors, trusts and corporate organisations.

Working with the Senior Prospect Research & Donor Insight Manager, you will develop a strong fundraising pipeline that will ensure the team can reach their long-term targets.

Your natural curiosity will lead you to identify new opportunities using a variety of online sources in combination with the NT’s database, Tessitura, and you will be able to articulate your recommendations to fundraisers in a concise and compelling way. With excellent attention to detail, this role also undertakes due diligence research into potential funders to assess any risks to the NT of accepting funds. This role also manages the Development Operations Assistant, who leads the day-to-day administration of the Development database.

The role has scope to offer insights across the whole Development team and NT senior management, and would suit a strong collaborator with enthusiasm for the work of the NT.

• Experience of managing prospect research projects and supporting prospect pipeline management in a fundraising environment.

• Experience of Tessitura or other customer relations management systems.

As part of the Trusts and Institutional funding team of four you’ll work alongside the Head of Trusts and Institutional, Trusts Manager, Trusts Executive and the new Trusts and Institutional Funding Executive. The main task of the Institutional Funding Lead is to secure funding from UK-based institutional donors, with a primary focus on the FCDO.

You will drive forward dynamic and proactive engagement strategies directly with UK-based institutional donors and indirectly through consortia, as well as developing and supporting organisational positioning for contracts and grants.

This role will introduce innovative and agile funding approaches and models to enhance War Child UK’s competitiveness in a complex donor environment. You’ll achieve this by working closely with the War Child Alliance Foundation to research and analyse opportunities, enhance and support donor engagement plans, and drive forward engagement opportunities to maximise and secure funding.

About the role

• Develop and strengthen a network of contacts with relevant representatives from UK institutional donors and partners, primarily FCDO, institutional foundations and INGOs, to enable consortia to develop and grow.
• Identify funding needs within War Child and match them with institutional funding opportunities by engaging with country teams, the regional teams and the Alliance institutional funding coordination.

War Child believes that children’s lives should not be torn apart by war. It is the only specialist charity for children affected by conflict, with four main areas of work: protecting children, educating children, supporting communities and campaigning. It’s an exciting time to join War Child as they have just launched their new Alliance initiative. The War Child Alliance brings together the five War Child fundraising members (in the Netherlands, UK, Germany and Sweden, plus Children in Conflict in the US), with 14 programme members, based in and around conflict-affected areas across the world and coordinated by a new international body: the War Child Alliance Foundation. Through the Alliance they are integrating programme activities under one umbrella – allowing War Child to combine strengths and pool resources – all with the aim to multiply impact for conflict-affected children.

As part of the Trusts and Institutional funding team of four you’ll work alongside the Head of Trusts and Institutional, Trusts Manager and Trusts Executive, and be line managed by the new Trusts and Institutional Funding Lead.

Your key objective is to provide operational, administrative and analytical support to the team to grow income and enable War Child to deliver quality programmes. You’ll ensure compliance with quality and donor requirements, contribute to effective risk management, provide support for the different donor accounts and ensure processes and systems are in place, implemented and efficient.

The role requires proactive collaboration with cross-functional teams, excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and strong communication skills.

About the role

• Develop donor profiles by conducting research on potential donors, including their funding focus, giving history, and connections to War Child.
• Plan and prepare meetings with donors by collaborating with senior colleagues and stakeholders to determine strategic objectives and key messages.
• Monitor and share potential funding opportunities with the relevant Donor Account Managers within the Trusts and Institutional Funding team.
• Support the implementation of internal grant management processes.

The Senior Programme Manager will lead and mentor the programme delivery team, including development and evaluation of assigned staff.
 
To be successful, you will have significant experience of programme management within an International Development context, with experience in supporting and supervising large technical assistance programmes. You will have an excellent understanding of donor/client management requirements, including working with major funders like FCDO or Green Climate Fund. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to forge and develop cohesive teams with clear roles and responsibilities. Finally, you will have demonstrable leadership ability, providing compliance/financial support to project management teams.
