About the position
This is an exciting opportunity to create change at scale, informing and promoting a practical transition to plant-based diets, in order to reduce the number of animals suffering in factory farms. Part of our Farmed Animal Campaigns team, the role will work to increase the quality and availability of plant-based options with major caterers and universities in the UK, impacting hundreds of thousands of meals daily.
This role also includes an opportunity to support the delivery of a campaign to end the use of farrowing crates, one of the worst forms of cruelty to farmed animals in the UK today. In this role you will support the Senior Manager for Farmed Animal Campaigns to create public-facing campaign assets, and develop compelling research to underpin our policy and industry engagement.

Key areas of responsibility:

Initiate and maintain relationships with universities, food service companies and public sector institutions to support and oversee their delivery of goals to reduce meat/animal products

Work with consultants to develop and deliver our Forward Food culinary training programme to food service professionals, to support their understanding of plant-based food and marketing, and their role in the just protein transition.

Identify and support opportunities to encourage people to eat fewer animal products, including working with media and celebrity ambassadors.

Conduct environmental impact assessments on menus and food procurement to effectively monitor and report on progress towards meat-reduction goals

Deliver compelling and informed advocacy to UK political stakeholders to encourage the adoption of policies that catalyse a just protein transition and better farmed animal welfare.

Support development and delivery of HSI UK’s farmed animal campaigns strategies

Research and present on industry-related trends and developments in the plant-based food market and alternatives to cage confinement.
About you
Our successful candidate will be confident, articulate and creative with a proven track record of supporting the delivery of effective campaigns through research and advocacy. You’ll be a proactive self-starter, and someone who brings positive energy to work within teams. You’ll have a keen eye for detail and accuracy, as well as experience and ability to produce compelling and effective advocacy materials, including analysing scientific data and translating it into meaningful language for stakeholders. You’ll have experience of building strategic relationships in the private or public sector to deliver agreed goals. You will have an ambition and drive for creating positive change for animal welfare, and a willingness to regularly evaluate our progress and impact with a view to further improving our strategies.

You will develop and implement an innovative fundraising strategy that is focused on sustainable growth and providing exceptional stewardship.
Legacy and in memory giving are both priority income streams for the charity; you will work across the charity to inspire and empower colleagues to promote these income streams among supporters, service users and their loved ones.

About the role
As Senior Legacy and In Memory Manager, you will:

About this key role

About the role
Global Canopy is seeking an experienced and effective Operations & Execution Lead at a moment of very rapid growth and ongoing opportunity for the organisation as we implement our 2023-2030 strategy to end market impacts on nature.
You will have a proven track record of effective planning and execution in a relevant organisational setting, and will be able to flourish in a collaborative and dynamic non-profit, working with complex programmes and partnerships worldwide.
Your goal will be to standardise and help embed effective approaches, processes and tools for planning, delivery and monitoring of our work across the organisation. Reporting to the Director of Finance & Operations, you will work closely with the Programmes Director, People Director, and other senior colleagues to strengthen both organisational culture and practice for efficient, effective and inclusive execution.
Requirement
To be successful in this role, these are the things that will matter the most:
- Deep experience in operationalising and supporting a planning and execution cycle within a complex institutional setting.
- People and communication skills, given how fundamentally this success will depend on effective collaboration with our Programmes Director, Finance & Operations Director and other organisational leaders.

The role of the Senior Digital Marketing Executive is to ensure we provide a great supporter experience to any person, company or organisation who donates to the Epilepsy Society and to help the fundraising and marketing teams increase our number of supporters and fundraisers through digital acquisition.
As part of the Charity’s in-house marketing agency, you will support in responding to briefs from other departments and work closely with their teams to create and deliver marketing plans which deliver on revenue and strategic priorities. You will also work closely with multiple stakeholders, including our digital agency and the other teams within the Fundraising and Marketing Department and the wider organisation.
This role involves supporting various digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, content creation, and data analytics. The postholder will be responsible for a range of tasks to support the efficient and effective running of a fundraising and marketing team dealing directly with donors at all levels to ensure they have the best donor experience. We need someone to help us to reach new people online, drive income and build an enhanced online supporter experience.
There is flexibility within the role; with a hybrid working approach of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. CVAA UK is a membership organisation supporting not-for-profit adoption agencies across the UK who specialise in finding homes for children in care. Over 3000 children in the UK need adoption each year because they cannot remain at home or with family members. The CVAA Practice Programme delivers 30 or more online courses each year to those working in the sector, primarily social workers. The programme has developed a strong reputation for attracting a range of subject experts to deliver cost effective, engaging and useful training. The full programme is listed on the CVAA UK website and inlcudes topics such as LGBTQ+ parenting; therapy for children; identity formation; racism and anti-racism; parenting courses; theraplay and many more.
Due to a restructure of the team, we are now looking for a Training Manager who can oversee the administration and delivery of the programme. Initially fixed term, it is anticipated that this post will become permanent. We are keen to have someone joiun us as soon as possible.
The Training Manager will work with the Head of Practice Development to ensure that the courses are full, supported, delivered effectively and evaluated. Part of the role will also be to source new trainers and support the creation of the programme into 2025.
The CVAA team work remotely across the UK so location of the postholder is not a barrier to recruitment as long as long as they can travel occasionally and come into London for team days. The team is small, diverse and dynamic. Experience of project management or delivery of training or events is more important than knowledge of adoption or children's social care. Prospectus is delighted to be supporting a leading UK charity in their search for a Project Manager to coordinate the delivery of the Youth Health Programme UK (YHP UK) that harnesses the power of Youth Centre Design to find solutions that meet the specific mental health and wellbeing needs of young people in the UK.
This is a full-time home-based position, with regular travel across Cambridgeshire, offered on a contract until August 2025.
Reporting to the Senior Programme Manager, the Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of project coordination and delivery in the Cambridgeshire area, ensuring project plans are delivered, effectively monitoring, and evaluated. The postholder will effectively engage with local grassroots organisations working with young people, building links, and managing relationships with local practitioners and delivery partners. The new project manager will ensure that the YHP UK programme actively takes a youth centred approach, enabling young people’s voices to be at the heart of the programme.
To be successful, you will have experience coordinating and delivering mid-to-large scale regional or national programmes that supports young people and/or mental health. You will have experience of delivering clear and concise project delivery and implementation plans, able to implement monitoring and evaluation to track project impact. You will have demonstrable ability to establish, build and maximise partnerships with community-based organisations that supports project delivery and achieves change. Knowledge and experience of working with youth in Cambridgeshire would be beneficial.
