A passionate and persuasive advocate for climate and nature, you’ll be free to operate with a high degree of autonomy, leading projects and acting as the subject matter expert for F2F and telephone fundraising compliance and quality. By delivering high quality recruitment and training programmes, you’ll be ensuring that our fundraisers are not just trained, but also the most inspired, informed and effective in the sector.
Responsibilities span the strategic management and ownership of the entire F2F recruitment pipeline, as well as setting the direction for training resources and managing the delivery of all induction and campaign training. You’ll also act as the senior coaching resource for team leaders and managers and, working collaboratively, will be expected to drive standards across all in-house and partner teams.
Location: Islington, London. This role will be mainly office based and require UK wide travel to carry out in person interviews (particularly travel to Brighton) as well as some field support for fundraisers. There will be opportunity for some home working (around 1-2 days per week). Reasonable adjustments as well as specific office-based needs will be considered for those with long term health conditions and disabilities.
What we’re looking for:
- Significant, demonstrable experience in designing, implementing and evaluating complex training strategies across multiple channels of F2F.
- Significant experience as a F2F Fundraiser and Team Leader.
- Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment management, including strategic pipeline planning and managing selection criteria.
- Expert-level operational knowledge of the F2F sector, with an ability to identify and implement sector best practices.
- In-depth, current knowledge of all relevant CIOF, Fundraising Regulator and data protection legislation, with the ability to advise on compliance.
- A track record of coaching managers and team leaders, plus field staff.

As the Fundraising Manager for Philanthropy, this role requires proven experience of building, sustaining and growing significant income from philanthropic sources.

The practice works with over 1,400 schools and 80 education and youth organisations, serving more than a quarter of million pupils. This includes helping our partners to design high-quality research projects, delivering them, and providing systems and tools for data collection, reporting and impact benchmarking.
The Opportunity
We are excited to be recruiting for a Principal Director to lead commercial growth within our Evaluation practice. This is a new role within the practice. Reporting to our Group Directors and / or a Managing Director of IEE (subject to future appointment), the Director will work as part of a practice leadership team that will oversee all aspects of the evaluation team’s work, with a focus on leading business development. Our partnerships encompass education organisations such as charities, edtech organisations and government, and schools and multi-academy Trusts. Across all our partnerships, we aim to design and deliver high-quality research and evaluation projects that help our partners make better decisions for children using good evidence.
You will provide strategic leadership, represent the organisation both internally and externally, and be responsible for driving the commercial performance of the practice. This role will sit alongside a Principal Director focused on the delivery of our partnerships, and our Director of Research.
The role will focus on partnerships and business development, ensuring that ImpactEd Evaluation is positioned well as first port of call for schools and social purpose organisations. You will lead a number of sales and marketing campaigns, develop key propositions for our partners, scan and respond to relevant tenders and work closely with a team of evaluation experts to ensure we are able to continue to bring accessible expertise to our work and partners.
The role would be ideal for a candidate with deep understanding of the education sector, a track record in business development, and the ambition to shape the direction of a growing social enterprise.

The post holder will take responsibility for the efficient day-to-day administration of the Trust’s membership schemes, using the Charity CRM database to maintain accurate contact & financial records in line with GDPR. This includes processing new, renewing and lapsed memberships, handling payments ( Direct Debits, PayPal & Gift Aid) and providing consistently high-quality communication with members through enquiries, welcome packs, renewal reminders and supporter care.
You’ll also support member growth and retention by helping deliver key supporter journey communications, thanking activity and retention projects, and by liaising with external partners such as the membership recruitment agency. This is a maternity cover role to cover a period of maternity leave (up to one year) working 22.5 hours per week over three days (office hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm) based at Brooke House in Ashbocking. Role Purpose
Oversee a blended model of in-house direct labour teams and external supply chain partners, lead and empower your teams to successfully deliver effective building, mechanical, electrical and regulated compliance related works and services across the organisation's property portfolio to ensure our homes are safe and well maintained. Delivering against challenging KPI's, ensure continuous improvement and customer safety across gas, fire, water, electrical, lifts, M&E and asbestos.
Working with the Property Services Director and Assistant Directors to shape and implement the Property Compliance Delivery strategies to deliver effective building/property regulatory compliance in line with statutory, regulatory and policy requirements. Instrumental in leading change and embedding a positive, enthusiastic, and empowered culture that enables colleagues to deliver good performance and great customer service.
Lead on new ways of working including the use of modern digital solutions to make our business more effective, agile, and responsive, requiring a forward and outward looking approach as well as an open mind and applying Lean principles in decision making.
Key Accountabilities
- Shape and contribute to the organisation's long-term compliance strategy, ensuring alignment with national housing policy and emerging legislation.

In 2022, Citizens UK expanded its work by launching the Communities for Ukraine programme, matching Ukrainian refugees with UK hosts and most recently has run Communities for Afghans, resettling dozens of refugees. Throughout, it has combined grassroots organising with national advocacy to build a sustainable, community-led model of refugee resettlement. In 2025, we campaigned successfully to persuade the Government to introduce ‘named sponsorship’, giving communities greater choice in who they would sponsor. This creates a huge opportunity to grow community sponsorship and to enable UK civil society to step up and honour our proud tradition of offering sanctuary.
Head of Community Sponsorship Role
This is a rare opportunity to lead Citizens UK’s community sponsorship campaign and help build the movement that will be at the heart of a community-led welcome.
This new role comes at an exciting and crucial time, as we seek to build and embed this new form of named community sponsorship in the UK. As Head of Community Sponsorship you will lead on our strategy to develop named sponsorship as a transformative part of the UK’s approach to refugee resettlement and community power. This will involve building a broad-base of civil society partners ready to sponsor refugees and to add their voice to the campaign. You will lead on the campaigning and advocacy strategy as we ensure quality in the Government policy and cross-Party political support. ROLE DUTIES
- To guide and advise parishes on their safeguarding enquiries and referrals.
- Manage, investigate, lead, and conclude designated cases
- To maintain up to date records relating to your designated caseload on the church’s National Safeguarding Case Management System, and the recording of case supervision.
- To form and maintain productive, professional relationships with parishes, especially Parish clergy, Senior clergy, and parish volunteers, particularly the Parish Safeguarding Officers (PSOs).
CRITERIA
- A minimum of two years’ experience of safeguarding children and adults in the voluntary or statutory sector.
- Experience in risk evaluation/assessment relating to offenders/offending behaviour.
- Experience of managing safeguarding situations as part of a caseload.
- Experience and understanding of safeguarding procedures in relation to children and adults

About the Role

Purpose
The Head of People & Culture ensures that Citizens UK has the people, organisational capacity and enabling culture required to deliver its mission of building people power and strengthening civil society. Working as part of the senior leadership team, and under the direction of the Executive Director, Finance & Operations, the role strengthens organisational effectiveness by embedding fair, inclusive and well-governed people practices. Through sound employment frameworks, statutory compliance and a culture that supports engagement, performance and wellbeing, the Head of People & Culture safeguards Citizens UK’s resilience, reputation and ability to deliver impact at scale.
Main Responsibilities
Working as the Head of People & Culture for Citizens UK, reporting to the Executive Director, Finance & Operations, your main responsibilities will include:
People & Culture Strategy
Ensure Citizens UK has the people, capability and organisational shape required to deliver its mission and sustain impact over time.
· Analyse organisational strategy, change priorities and external context to identify their implications for people, capability, structure and ways of working.
· Carry out workforce planning to assess current and future capacity and capability, identifying gaps, risks and realistic options to address them.
· Develop, maintain and refresh the People & Culture strategy so it responds directly to organisational needs and provides clear priorities for action.
· Provide expert people and culture advice to the Executive Leadership Team and Board, informing strategic discussions, trade-offs and decisions.
Talent Management
Develop and implement talent management processes that ensure Citizens UK attracts, retains and sustains the people needed to deliver its work.
· Lead recruitment, selection and onboarding to bring in people who can perform effectively in their roles and are aligned with Citizens UK’s values.
· Develop and maintain retention approaches focused on the key drivers of retention, including meaningful work, effective management, development opportunities, wellbeing, inclusion and fair treatment.
· Identify critical roles and critical talent and put in place practical succession and risk-mitigation plans, including knowledge transfer, handover planning and interim cover where needed.
· Monitor employee experience across the employment lifecycle, using insight from feedback and people data to improve people practices and ways of working.

Ensure Citizens UK is equitable, inclusive and safe for all by embedding fairness, care and accountability into how the organisation operates.
· Develop and implement Equity, Diversity and Inclusion priorities, using clear measures to monitor progress, identify gaps and support accountability across the organisation.

We are an outward looking charity with a compelling reputation for delivering professional support services to young people in South West London coupled with the motivation to develop new and innovative responses to young people’s mental health needs. This was particularly tested when the Covid pandemic forced us to quickly pivot all our provision to remote working. Job Purpose: The purpose of the post is to take responsibility for the HR oversight, day to day HR matters and the overall HR management of the charity.
The role will require initially regular meets on the sites with the CEO & Senior Management Team to build relationships, understand current processes and to establish and implement a best-in-class HR service to managers and employees across the organisation, allowing the CEO & Senior Managers to focus on the essential strategic management of the charity.
We envisage the first 6 months being a comprehensive review & reset of the charities HR policies, procedures and protocols.
This will be a part-time role for 21 hours per week across 3-4 days. This role will be busy, interesting and provide an opportunity for you to make your mark within the charity. You will have line management responsibilities for a part time HR administrator who you will be working closely with.
To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate that you have the necessary skills, knowledge and practical experience to perform effectively. You should also hold a CIPD Diploma-level qualification and have a thorough, up-to-date understanding of current UK employment legislation.
Your strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail should enable you to manage documentation and records effectively, ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently.
We are looking for a self-starter and someone with a demonstrable positive approach that has the ability to always remain calm and consistent with personnel at all levels, but capable of dealing with difficult situations.
