In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
The Lead Coach is primarily responsible for overseeing the training room and group sessions with young people. You will help shape the training environment and will confidently adapt and deliver materials and sessions to work within the group’s development towards work readiness.
Delivery of Spear Programme - Group and 1:1 coaching [60%]
- Preparing and coaching Spear Foundation sessions and 1-1s, ensuring that young people are engaged, retained and work-ready by the end of this initial phase of the programme.
- Building relationships with young people on the programme and managing culture and attitudes in the training room.
- Adapting the Spear coaching material according to the needs of the Trainees and managing behaviour effectively.
Delivery of Spear Career [20%]
- Delivering weekly Spear Career sessions (including running workshops with past Trainees), maintaining records and reporting on statistics, and creatively developing ongoing relationships with Spear Trainees.
Training the Assistant Coach [10%]
- Contributing towards the training and developing of the Assistant Coach by modelling excellent coaching and giving regular feedback.
Trainee recruitment [10%]
- Developing relationships with Job Centres and local referral agencies to ensure that the maximum number of Spear Trainees are enrolled on each programme. This involves liaising with referral agencies, active face-to-face recruitment and monitoring recruitment statistics.
Continuous professional development
- Continually engaging in professional development, including being part of Resurgo’s wider coaching programmes and supporting the Programme Managers with overall team training and development.
Active participation in and support for church team and mission
- As the Spear programme is run by Junction Community Trust in partnership with St Mark’s Church, Battersea Rise, you will be required to establish a strong personal presence at the church to develop the engagement and backing of church members and help build a strong network of supporters for the Spear programme. As part of this you may be asked to speak at church/events and contribute to prayer meetings as per Resurgo’s Christian ethos and the mission of the church

What you'll be doing
The National Society for Education is seeking an inspiring and visionary leader to head its Growing Faith and Young Leaders workstream - a strategic post within our Senior Leadership Team (SLT). This dynamic role will shape and deliver key national initiatives including the Growing Faith Foundation, FLOURISH Network of Worshipping Communities, and a suite of leadership programmes such as the Archbishops' Young Leaders Award, Flourishing Young Leaders, and Young Voices at General Synod.
Summary of main responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership across our core Growing Faith workstream, managing senior team leads and national programme heads
- Strategically overseeing the implementation of leadership development programmes for adult and young leaders of mission and ministry with children and young people within the FLOURISH movement

What the job involves
We’re looking for a Healthcare Improvement Officer to join our Improvement Programmes Team and help us deliver exciting initiatives that support healthcare professionals to improve prostate cancer services across the UK. Examples of projects supported include work around establishing better Active Surveillance so that more men can avoid unnecessary radical treatment; work to restructure and make faster the diagnostic pathway; work to coordinate with primary care and support earlier diagnosis; new surgical procedures that spare men the burden of incontinence. As Healthcare Improvement Officer, you’ll play a central role in making sure our programmes run smoothly and have maximum impact. You’ll oversee on the logistics and delivery of events across the UK and online, from our Clinical Champions Programme and Clinical Advisory Group meetings to our annual healthcare professional conference. You’ll also oversee recruitment for programmes, manage databases and monitoring systems, and handle financial processes such as invoices and purchase orders, ensuring everything is delivered on time and to a high standard.
Your work will range from planning and scheduling programmes, to procuring resources, preparing materials and helping to facilitate sessions so that participants are fully supported in their learning. You’ll also contribute to quality improvement project development and coordination, working with teams across Prostate Cancer UK to share good practice and expand the reach of our initiatives.
Engagement will be a key part of your role, from maintaining webpages and digital channels to supporting our alumni network through newsletters, communications and opportunities for continued involvement. You’ll help manage our online Clinical Champions learning hub and, with training provided, will also have the chance to coach and mentor clinicians using Insights Discovery (a psychometric tool helping people understand their own and others' behavioural preferences and communication styles).
What we want from you
We’re looking for someone who’s highly organised, comfortable working with people and able to keep several projects moving at once. Strong communication skills are essential, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt your style to suit different audiences, from clinicians to colleagues across the organisation.
You’ll bring experience in event planning and support, along with project coordination, and you’ll be comfortable managing webpages and creating online content. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with a range of stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, colleagues and senior leaders, so collaboration will be second nature to you.
An understanding of the healthcare and/or charity sectors will be valuable, as will experience in presenting and facilitating discussions. You’ll also need excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively when things get busy.

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Visitor Experience Manager (VEM) to play a vital role in leading and shaping the visitor journey at Waddesdon Manor, working Wednesday-Sunday. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Visitor Experience Management Team at Waddesdon Manor ensuring that every visitor enjoys an outstanding experience that is welcoming, inclusive, and memorable.

What you will do:
As Visitor Experience Manager (VEM), you will oversee house-based visitor operations and lead a seamless visitor engagement program - including tours, walks, and talks - ensuring that all audiences enjoy an exceptional and inspiring experience. By maintaining consistently high standards of welcome, interpretation and storytelling, you will enhance visitor satisfaction and foster memorable experiences.

Operational Management

- Support out-of-hours exclusive access tours, sharing responsibilities with the VE management team
- Develop industry-leading, accessible, and revenue-generating tour visitor engagement programme
- Develop a guide recruitment and training programme.
- Work with the Head of Visitor Experience (HVE), Group Bookings Coordinator, and Marketing team to tailor tours and walks to visitor and group preferences.
People Management
- Line manage the AVEM, providing operational guidance and supporting their professional development.
- Offer strong, motivational leadership to guides and volunteers, serving as an approachable point of contact.
- Recruit, develop, and coach a high-performing, enthusiastic team, setting clear objectives and providing regular feedback.
- Inspire teams to engage with and safely manage the historic environment, fostering a passion for the house, its history, and collections.
- Collaborate with the VE & Volunteering teams to expand and enhance the year-round Visitor Experience volunteering program.
- Lead annual visitor care training for staff and volunteers.
- Provide ongoing role-specific training to ensure high standards of delivery.
Other Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with the Head of Visitor Experience to manage staffing and operational budgets, contributing to financial planning.
- Champion accessibility, ensuring all visitor offers meet best practice accessibility guidelines and supporting the AVEM in developing access initiatives.
- Deputise for the HVE and provide operational duty management in the AVEM’s absence.
- Serve as a second duty manager for large events, overseeing a designated site area and making operational decisions.
- Act as a trained First Aider and Fire Marshall (training provided).
- Train as a “White Hat” for Waddesdon’s Disaster Response Team and take a leadership role in major incidents if required
- Support frontline operations during peak times, major events, or staff shortages as required

- Collection Care & Conservation: Understanding of historic collection care, conservation, health and safety, and security legislation.
- Communication & Public Engagement: Strong written and interpersonal skills, with experience in public speaking, guiding, or presenting. Ability to remain calm and confident under pressure.
- Financial & Technical Proficiency: Some experience in budget management and commercial awareness. Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, with familiarity in POS and ticketing platforms.
Additional requirements:

Consequently this position will require an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to uphold the safety and security of all our guests, staff and volunteers.

What the job involves
We're on the lookout for a motivated Direct Marketing professional to bring their skills to our Individual Giving Team, with a focus on retention campaigns.
Direct Marketing plays an important role in the Charity’s fundraising and overall corporate strategy. We’re looking for a confident and proactive fundraiser to take responsibility for the delivery and ongoing development of our current retention programme.
You’ll deliver timely, targeted, relevant communications to our warm audiences; newly recruited and existing cash supporters and regular givers with the aim of strengthening loyalty and increasing their lifetime value.
With internal and external stakeholders, you’ll project manage existing direct marketing campaigns in the form of direct mail appeals, emails, telemarketing and occasional stewardship events. You’ll consistently analyse KPIs and make evidence-based decisions to help assist with growing the programme and delivering our overall financial target.
What we want from you
Aside from excellent knowledge and experience of working in a direct marketing environment, which includes developing and implementing retention focused direct marketing campaigns, you’ll also have a range of channel experience and marketing knowledge.
You’ll possess first class communication skills, a strong team ethic and you’ll be at ease working with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. The ability to manage budgets and projects is also essential, along with proven knowledge of data protection and sector compliance. As Senior Communications Officer, you will be working closely with the Head of Marketing Communications to help plan, create and deliver, with the help of specialists across teams, the Trust’s annual communication plan.
You’ll be responsible for leading communications projects, campaigns and day-to-day activities. You will be delivering creative content and marketing across a range of platforms - both digital and offline –that support the Trust’s Wilder 2030 strategy and showcases the Trust’s work. This will result in bringing nature’s story to life in order to expand the charity’s reach into new and wider audiences and bringing new supporters on board.
You will be able to think creatively, within a fast-paced environment where no day is the same, as well as be comfortable delivering key tasks and mucking in when all hands are needed on deck.
You will be comfortable with the relevant platform analytics to report on progress against agreed key performance indicators.
This senior role is for a highly creative, confident, robust and professional communications individual, who will be working closely with the Head of Marketing Communications and wider team to help plan, create and activate the Trust’s annual communication plan.
You will:

Job Description – Key Responsibilities and Tasks
Responsibility 1: Leading Digital Channels
- Designing and implementation of SWT’s digital and social media content plan (for both paid and organic content) with the support of the Content & Communications Officer, ensuring it complements the Trust’s overall Wilder Somerset 2030 strategic goals and objectives, marketing plans, key campaigns, engagement and fundraising activity. Driving the high performance and growth of SWT’s social channels – ensuring increasing engagement and reach.
- Working with and supporting the Content & Communications Officer to create a calendar of high-quality engaging, range of content for sharing across internal and external marketing communications channels in support of the strategic vision, ensuring consistency in terms of tone of voice, branding, messaging and frequency of communications across all key channels. The Senior Communications Officer’s social media content plan will aim to grow all SWT’s social media and digital communities and increase organic engagement.
- Expanding reach to bring new supporters on board with the Trust’s mission, to get involved with SWT’s work across the county, take action for nature, and to grow membership and income.
- Working closely with the Website & Email Lead to understand and optimise user journeys and conversions between social channels and the website, and providing support and counsel to the Website & Email Lead with regards to the delivery of impactful email campaigns to support key integrated projects, campaigns and core strategy programmes. Also providing support and guidance on ensuring the website is as effective a channel as it should be as a central destination hub for social and digital journeys.
- Liaising with the Wildlife Trust (RSWT) central office to ensure central content and advocacy campaigns are delivered as agreed on local social channels with local messaging and that the Somerset message is clear, with the use of local case studies and stories.
- With the Content & Communications Officer, and liaising with external providers where necessary, providing brand design support for communications collateral, reports, newsletters, brochures, flyers, posters and presentations. Using appropriate software (e.g., Canva, Adobe, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) for a range of audiences, creating templates where appropriate for internal staff to utilise to deliver small-scale projects independently.
Responsibility 2: Marketing & PR
- Marketing opportunities including a range of channels from print, media, events to paid online adverts.
- Developing strong relationships with local and national journalists and be the lead day-to-day SWT media contact for press enquiries, with the Content & Communications Officer taking on administrative press office tasks and handling some incoming queries.
- Recommending and developing feature ideas for key publications working up ideas with colleagues across the Trust, selling in stories, and coordinating the provision of spokespeople, background information and logistics.
- Working with, and providing guidance to the Content & Communications Officer, creating and distributing targeted press releases or media alerts where appropriate, following up with key media contacts to maximise coverage and amplify SWT’s successes and impact.
- Be alert and responsive to the news agenda, keeping abreast of issues affecting the Trust and identifying PR opportunities and trends on social media that SWT can engage with, whilst also horizon planning for key contentious issues so as to provide PR support during crisis and major issues.
Responsibility 3: Project Management & Reporting
- With excellent project management and coordination skills you will work with internal stakeholders to design, coordinate and deliver bespoke plans to support a range of key projects across the year such as appeals, big events, campaigns and nature recovery projects.
- Working with the team to deliver any relevant communications training or resources to make available to staff.
- Supervising the monitoring and measurement of campaigns and their success, and reporting key KPIs to internal stakeholders on a monthly basis.
- Internal communications - updating the staff portal on Sharepoint with regards to communication assets, training and resources.
- Representing the Communications Team along with others across the Trust as part of the Trust’s project management working group, feeding back on best practice and new innovations that result in a consistent approach to project management.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People has been creating life-changing partnerships between hearing dogs and deaf recipients since 1982. As well as acting as an ear to their partners and alerting them to sounds, the charity’s clever and expertly trained dogs help deaf people to live life with confidence and independence, whilst providing love, companionship and emotional support.
Following on from a strategic review, the charity is now looking to build a new Income Generation Directorate, to enable them to transform many more lives across the UK. This role will be critical to help Hearing Dogs reach their goals to diversify income, expand their portfolio and accelerate income from mission-aligned businesses.
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Partnerships, this role will take a lead on nurturing existing partnerships and developing new ones, with a specific focus on increasing income through employee engagement and payroll giving schemes. Position Summary
The Concerts & Projects Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of several key areas of the orchestra’s core performance activity (including but not limited to: concerts in London and around the UK, commercial recording projects, the orchestra’s Garsington Opera residency and others).

The role
The philanthropy manager will report to the senior philanthropy manager.
We are seeking a creative and driven philanthropy manager to join our team on a permanent basis. Working alongside members of the wider team, you will help deliver the best possible experience to some of the charity’s most committed donors through a mixture of bespoke events, personalised communications, and recognition opportunities across our hospital sites.
Specifically, this role will lead the team’s efforts in securing four and five-figure gifts and stewarding donors with a gold-standard experience that ensures continued support for the Royal Free Charity.
You will play an important role within our philanthropy & capital campaign team, helping to build relationships, and increase income, in a pivotal year for the charity. The role will offer significant scope for development, giving you the opportunity to grow your relationship-building, communication, and project management skills in a supportive, ambitious, and high-performing team.
The team
Our dynamic fundraising department generated £4.5m through donations in 2023/24, and we are now preparing for an ambitious multi-million-pound campaign in support of a ground-breaking cancer centre on the site of the Royal Free Hospital.
We pride ourselves on being a supporter focused and agile function, working at the heart of the charity to deliver impact for patients and staff across our hospitals.
Responsible for attracting and retaining donors, and delivering an outstanding supporter experience, the fundraising department comprises two teams which work closely together to achieve our shared objectives:
· Our philanthropy & campaigns team builds relationships with individual philanthropists, trusts, foundations, corporate organisations and intermediaries, giving or facilitating donations of £10,000 or more to the charity each year. They lead major appeal activity for the charity, currently focused on our forthcoming cancer campaign, and special events to support these activities.
· Our public fundraising team harnesses the support and energy of individuals and groups, helping them to give back in the way that works for them. This includes committed giving, in memory support, gifts in wills, and fundraising events and challenges.
· Our database and supporter care colleagues underpin and support the entire department.
