The service brings together the expertise of local primary, secondary and voluntary sector mental health care providers with the aim of providing flexible, holistic and integrated services for adults with mental health problems.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Manager to join our team in Lewisham. The role will take a leading position in the development and delivery of the Primary Care Mental Health Team, with responsibility for operational management of the service, support of team members, and building strong partnerships with SLaM, key stakeholders and line management.
This is a pivotal role for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for driving forward innovative and person-centred mental health support within primary and secondary care. The successful candidate will join RMC’s Immigration department and play a key role in supporting our qualified Caseworkers in delivering immigration advice and conducting casework within the IAA framework.

Our immigration services focus on assisting migrants (including undocumented migrants), refugees, and asylum-seekers in navigating the UK’s complex immigration legal system. We help clients secure the right to remain in the UK for themselves and their families, with a particular emphasis on human rights claims, family and private life applications, family reunion, settlement, citizenship, and applications under the EU Settlement Scheme.
Purpose of the Role:
Main duties and responsibilities
· Provide administrative support to Caseworkers across all our offices during their conduct of their immigration cases (including supporting with the intake of client information, preparing documents, handling further evidence requests and maintain case files up to date)
· Contact clients and arrange appointments as required
· Draft routine correspondence under supervision (e.g. case notes, closing letters, emails)
· Ensure accurate information is recorded in our case management system and that all case files are up-to-date

About the role
For 50 years, Kidney Care UK has been at the forefront of supporting people with kidney disease. From our early days when we campaigned to introduce donor cards in the UK, we have worked hard to support and represent the interests of everyone affected by kidney disease.
We are looking for a passionate, talented Trusts and Foundations Manager to join our ambitious, successful Fundraising team that has been growing non-legacy income 34% year-on-year since 2021 as we approach our new 5 year fundraising strategy.
This role is responsible for managing and developing the charity’s portfolio of Trusts and Foundations, securing significant gifts and growing the long-term potential of this portfolio (target for this 12 months period is £378,000). There are no direct reports, however the successful candidate will be expected to work closely with Senior Management Teams, other departments and stakeholders to build and develop cases for support to help fund our much-needed work.
The successful candidate will utilise their expert writing skills to shape those cases for support into compelling, high-quality proposals and reports.
Building relationships with a wide range of audiences including funders is key. Inspiring them to support kidney patients across the UK and engage with the kidney community, enabling them to tell their stories and better communicate how larger trust grants can make a real difference for people with chronic kidney disease.

About you
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience and a proven track record of successful income generation and delivering against targets.

Key Responsibilities
Communication and networking
- Write clear and compelling fundraising proposals to charitable Trusts and Foundations that have the capacity to make six- and seven-figure grants and donations.
- Build effective, senior-level relationships with trustees, influencers and staff involved with charitable Trusts and Foundations, as appropriate meeting and liaising directly with funders as the ‘face’ of Guy’s & St Thomas’ Foundation, while also supporting senior staff, academics and clinicians to communicate with funders and work to a brief to achieve objectives.
- Work with academics and clinicians where required/appropriate, to develop the strongest possible case for support for major projects, for use in presentations, proposals and reports to Trusts and Foundations.
- Work with the key stakeholders to ensure an effective stewardship programme is in place for Trusts and Foundations donors, including reports, letters or other documents that may at times deal with complex, contentious and sensitive situations.
- Act as a Trusts and Foundations specialist on behalf of Guy’s & St Thomas’ Foundation.

- Identify a range of internal fundraising priorities that will engage the interest and charitable objectives of Trusts and Foundations.
- Work with the Prospect Research team to build an ongoing pipeline of high-calibre, qualified prospects with the capacity to give significant support to priority projects.
- Balance the coordination of a large number of complex relationships and fundraising projects with the ability to respond appropriately to new opportunities as they arise.

Working Environment:
The post holder should expect to:
- Work in a hybrid hot desk environment, generally working 2 days a week in the London office and three from home.

We are seeking an experienced Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Advisor to provide sound technical advice and guidance to ensure high quality qualitative outcome measurement tools and approaches in line with our increasing portfolio in disability and social inclusion in order to continuously improve Sightsavers’ evidence base.
As the MEL Advisor you will lead qualitative project baseline and endline data collection, coordination, reporting and learning to improve the quality of our programmes and Sightsavers impact. You will maintain and further develop Sightsavers’ qualitative outcome monitoring approach across our thematic areas and ensure high quality data collection, analysis and reporting.
Sightsavers has developed and introduced a MEL framework to measure the organisation’s strategic progress - Learning Accountability and Monitoring Progress (LAMP). The post holder will support its processes and make a significant contribution to understanding progress using qualitative evidence.
Responsibilities include:
Developing and strengthening practices

Lead on the strengthening and design of innovative and participatory monitoring and evaluation methodologies and tools to assess outcomes and impact of programmes; support the integration of successful approaches in routine MEL practice.

Skills and Experience
As the successful candidate you will possess a degree in a relevant field or subject (international development, public health, social sciences), or equivalent learning and experience. You will have a background in the comprehensive design and delivery of outcome focussed qualitative approaches/techniques including participatory MEL, tool development, data collection, analysis and reporting, and have experience of analysing rich qualitative data from multiple sources including the use of appropriate analysis methods and data analysis software tools.
