Your role
The fundraising and communications group at CMS has ambitious goals and targets and you’ll play a key role in helping successfully deliver on these. You’ll harness the huge potential of social media and other digital platforms to help CMS get the attention of our target audiences, build brand awareness, raise money and recruit people to our mission programmes. As well as having a strong working knowledge of social media platforms, you will need to be able to create and edit video as well as other forms of compelling content.
What you’ll need to succeed
It is essential that the post holder has proven social media, organic and paid content production experience, including video creation, and knowledge of social media posting and interaction via Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and X in an organisational context.
In addition, proven website editing using a content management system such as WordPress and email marketing via a client such as DotDigital.
It is also a requirement that this post holder is committed to the aims and values of CMS.

About the role
Development Group generates philanthropic and sponsorship income to help us create a Natural History Museum for the future – investing in capital development, attaining vital acquisitions for the collection, transforming our galleries, developing innovative exhibitions and undertaking ground-breaking scientific research on issues that affect us all.
The Museum is looking for an ambitious and self-motivated individual for the role of Philanthropy Executive. Working alongside an approachable and highly successful Philanthropy team, reporting into the Patrons Manager, the role will support the team in the Patrons and High-net-worth individual (HNWI) income streams, as well as managing your own portfolio of HNWIs. You will focus on the administration and stewardship of the Patrons Circle and supporting the HNWI wider team with donor stewardship. Alongside this, you will have your own portfolio of 5-figure funders and prospects and maintain a high level of organisation and excellent communication to build both internal relationships and external relationships with donors and prospects.
You will work closely with colleagues in the Philanthropy team and wider Development Group across varied income streams whilst also building successful working relationships with colleagues at all levels across the Museum. The role will be line-managed by the Patrons Manager with guidance from the Philanthropy Manager (HNWI) and Senior Philanthropy Manager.

To be successful as the Senior Operations Contracts Lead you will need the below experience and skills:
- A thorough understanding of and knowledge of the issues relating to women in the criminal justice system
- A sound knowledge of safeguarding adult and children principles, child abuse, child protection issues and safeguarding

- Significant experience, likely to have been gained over several years, of strategic planning and operational management at a service manager level, and developing and delivering services at senior service management level
- Significant experience of working with women and/or service users with a complex range of needs, particularly within the criminal justice system, in custody and/or community.
- Experience of developing relationships with funders/commissioners and achieving required outcomes
- Experience of implementing quality assurance frameworks, monitoring, evaluating and measuring impact
- Strong influencing skills, enthusiasm, self-confidence, excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills , and a can do proactive solution focussed approach

We are looking for a creative and driven Philanthropy Manager for a well loved health charity to manage a pool of mid value donors and secure four and five-figure gifts whilst stewarding donors.

The Role

Work with the public fundraising team to thank mid-level donors to fundraising appeals, creating updates and reports, and providing an excellent supporter experience to maximise the opportunity for a longer-term relationship beyond specific appeals.
Support the fundraising activities of the wider philanthropy & campaigns team through identifying donors who may give major gifts or be interested in legacy giving.
The Candidate
Experience of securing four and five figure gifts from individual donors.
Experience in fundraising and donor development delivering an excellent service on the phone, in person, and in written communications.
Experience of creating high quality written documents, such as tailored letters, proposals, slide decks, or other professional materials.

County Lines is a phenomenon in which criminal drug dealing operations are expanding their operations outside of the larger cities, taking over drug markets in smaller towns. Gangs target vulnerable children and young people and coerce them to transport and distribute mainly Class A drugs into areas where there is less police presence, less competition and high demand for their product.
About this exciting opportunity
This pivotal role will see you referring clients, with reference to St Giles Trust/Rescue and Response assessment practices. You will also need to produce support plans and risk management and planning process, and to include appropriate agencies in the delivery of the service.
You will also deliver a holistic support service, working independently or with colleagues, which will include providing social and housing support, education, training and employment options, benefits work, debt advice, and appearing in court. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with regional agencies including police and social services is a key aspect of the role.
What we are looking for:
- Personal experience of the criminal justice system, lived experience of the issues facing this client group and/or experience of working with ‘high risk’, vulnerable children, young people and/or families
- Experience of engaging successfully with ‘challenging’ young people
- Substantial experience of providing support, advice and advocacy and communicating effectively, the needs of clients to other professionals
- Strong IT skills, particularly MS Office, and the ability to work with a case database
- The ability to use and develop monitoring systems to record all aspects of the project
- Knowledge of and commitment to safeguarding practices and policies, and ability to promote safeguarding among vulnerable clients and colleagues.

The Role
The role of the Events team within Alpha International is to oversee the organising of Leadership Conference (LC) in-person, any events around Leadership Conference (including Donor events, Wednesday CEF event, Alpha Staff day, regional satellite events) and London-based Alpha events across the year (such as Alpha Collective and Experience Alpha).
This role is responsible for managing health and safety across the HTB sites, catering (crew, bloom café, Brompton road food vans and green rooms), internal deliveries and LC app, along with other LC related tasks.
The Key Responsibilities
Logistical arrangements:
o Development and execution of the events Day Plan. This is a minute-by-minute detailed plan that holds all the information of what will take place at the event
o Gathering technical and logistical requirements from speakers, stream leaders and internal departments; then negotiating this with the IT, Production, Vergers and Volunteers Teams or with an external venue or AV suppliers
o Determining catering requirements and caterer management
o Hiring of any additional venues as required and HTB site logistics
o Attending site visits (for external venues that might be used)
o Hiring of any additional equipment required for the event
o Liaising with the Production, IT, Verger, Worship team and all other internal departments
o Ensuring any legal and insurance tasks are thought about and in place for the event taking place
o Creating floor plans for the vergers to use
o Liaising on interpretation needs are met including BSL
o Liaising regarding speakers and associated tasks including contracts, gifts and accommodation
o Liaising and implementing programme decisions
o Developing and implementing new floor plans and layouts at events
o Ensuring event Health and Safety has been implemented

Marketing and communications:
o Working closely with the marketing team on the marketing plan and budget

Staffing:

o Taking a lead role on several key packages assigned to this role
o Create and maintain comprehensive event documentation
o Writing papers on the different areas for senior management to review as and when is required
o Stay within the budget allocated and make adjustments to event constraints based on financial situation. Looking for ways to save money on all areas you look after
o Developing and implementing new and improved processes
o Holding the Alpha standard on communication in everything we do or send before, during or after the event
o Attend senior leadership meetings to provide updates as an when is required on your different areas
o Managing admin across the event, dealing with sign off, budgets and compiling post event reporting – to take learnings for next years event
o Looking at ways to improve LC year on year by researching competitor events and market knowledge
o Any other event related tasks to support Head of Events

This role is part of the Partnership Development Team within the Mission & Movement Directorate. Reporting to the Head of Movement Development, you will be responsible for initiating and engaging with senior church leaders and wider networks to partner with CAP, primarily through our life-changing Debt Centre service.
As a Partnership Development Manager, you'll be a key driver of our mission. We're looking for a self-motivated, results-oriented, problem solving individual who can build and nurture relationships across diverse church networks and denominations.
You will be responsible for generating new partnership opportunities, inspiring church leaders and wider networks to engage with CAP's vision and partner with us. You'll need to be an entrepreneurial self-starter with a proven ability to build a robust pipeline and deliver on growth targets, specifically around Debt Centre growth motivated by our desire to help more people out of debt and poverty and see them become followers of Jesus.
Partnership Development Manager Scope
- The team is split between full time and part time PDMs.

Role:
Accountabilities:
- Responsible for expanding CAP's partnership network across your region alongside the Regional Director and Head of Movement Development, strategically prioritizing and developing relationships with church leaders and networks to establish new partnerships and services. You'll achieve this by collaborating with other teams, proactively networking with Christian organizations and denominational leaders (where appropriate), and representing CAP at various events, all with the goal of growing our influence and opening new services in every community.
- Proactive management of contacts as they progress through the pipeline, working alongside churches to identify if a CAP service supports their church vision, and if appropriate, manage them through the church journey and experience to open a new CAP service.
- To open new Debt Centre Partnerships as laid out in regional Development plans in target areas of deprivation and communities across the region.
- To open resilience services (Job Clubs, Life skills & Money Coaching) with new and existing church partnerships.
- Alongside Regional Director to identify key areas from across the region to host and organize a targeted number of CAP Spotlight Events per term. These events are designed to gather church leaders around a table to have conversations around opening a multi Church Debt Centre.
- To proactively build, manage and progress a self generated caseload of churches within your region, through cold calling, face to face meetings and all other appropriate forms of communication. This will include frequent travel across the region to meet with appropriate churches/ leaders.
- Refer potential new Debt Coaches or Churches that might want to work with an existing or expanding Church Partnership to the relevant Area Partnership Managers who are responsible for existing centre growth and sustainability.
- To work with Regional Leaders and Area Partnership Managers to deepen local knowledge and connections in order to deliver new church partnership opportunities.
- To collaborate across departments where needed to support and engage with Church Events, Talks, Conferences, Festivals, Church Leaders Meetings and other relevant events within your region, working on exhibition stands (when necessary) to help generate enquiries.
- To work with local church teams to ensure appropriate candidates are identified and have a full understanding of the role and responsibilities involved, ensuring CAP¿s selection team receive the appropriate information in a timely manner.
- To advocate and make introductions where appropriate for Church talks, CCT and fundraising opportunities.

As Membership Services Manager (Member Relations), you will take responsibility for the management and administration of primarily back-of-house Member relations and support, with a particular focus on managing the Membership contact centre and maintaining a first-class service for all Members.
Key areas of responsibility
- Customer Service: you will set and maintain expected standards of customer service across the team, manage the response to all phone, email and postal queries while maximising the support given to Members. In addition, you will act as the department's customer care champion and key point of collaboration and escalation for complex queries impacting Members.
- Team Management: You will take primary responsibility for the management, recruitment and administration of the Member Relations team within Membership Services. You will ensure that team are fully supported in their roles and in delivering the best service for Members.
- Membership Contact Centre: You will take primary responsibility for the management of the Membership contact centre, overseeing its functioning, allocation of work, effectiveness, reporting, administration of payments and financial reconciliation

About you
The successful candidate should demonstrate:
- The ability to Tackle complex problems while delivering the best outcomes for the Museum and Members alike,
- Previous experience in a busy customer service role, ideally working in a senior role or managing a telephone contact centre/customer inbox.
- Strong expertise and experience with CRM databases (preferably with experience of Raiser's Edge) as well as experience with credit and debit card payment systems
- Experience with resolving complex problems and handling complaints
- Fantastic telephone manner and correspondence skills
- First-class time management, for themselves and team members

Develop and implement a comprehensive multi-year fundraising strategy that encompasses diverse income streams, working collaboratively with senior leadership to coordinate efforts and maintain an up-to-date fundraising pipeline.

Steward high-value relationships with trusts, foundations, and corporate partners while leading grant applications and proposals for six-figure funding opportunities.
