Role Purpose
The role holder will be part of the Operations & Transformation Directorate reporting to the Head of PMO / Change and Delivery Lead.
The incumbent will have a pivotal role in the management of change, implementation and continuous improvement projects, mostly in the digital and IDS sphere. The role holder will help to ensure the work is aligned with the strategic objectives of the organisation, promoting the team’s relevance and value. Working on a broad spectrum of digitally focussed projects, this role will partner with the senior management team and other internal stakeholders.
Key Activities
- Project Management of Mobilisation and Implementation projects covering systems, continuous improvement, and strategic projects
- Creating project plans & mapping dependencies from bottom-up in collaboration with key stakeholders
- Define and track project milestones and ensure dependencies are understood and accepted by the relevant owners
- Report on the status of projects and ensure the appropriate governance and compliance is applied
- Coordinate and facilitate the delivery of a complex range of initiatives and/or projects
- Act as Project Manager by planning, supporting, facilitating and monitoring progress of activities, ensuring that delivery is on track, as well as establishing mitigating activities where risks and issues may arise.
- Oversee a number of complex projects
- This role requires a proactive approach to relationship building - collaborating, negotiating and managing internal and external stakeholders, ensuring delivery is achieved by the most effective and efficient means.
- Ensuring the project stays on time and within budget to deliver outcomes and measure expectations
- Working with the Risk Manager on risk and issues management

Experience & Qualifications
Essential:
- Significant and demonstrable project management experience (3-5 years) in a multi-project environment, from inception to implementation and closure
- Extensive experience delivering complex projects with strategic change component
- Experience managing projects through multi-disciplinary teams
- Project/Programme qualification e.g. APM, PRINCE2, MSP; experience working with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills (verbal, written and listening)
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and proactively
- Resilient and able to handle ambiguity
- Personal, relatable character, able to build relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage data and information with discretion
Desirable:
- Have had exposure with matrix working and strong capability as a business partner in relationship building with stakeholders
- Demonstrable experience dealing with Director-level stakeholders and challenge thinking where appropriate
- Government / public sector experience would be advantageous
- Knowledge of project management best practices, methodologies, and project governance principles
- Adaptability – accepts need for change, maintains a positive outlook and projects credibility
- Experience of using Google Sheets and Smartsheet to be able to create project plans

The Senior Finance BP will provide Strategic and Operational finance support to the Operational Director and Heads of Service. The Director is responsible for leading a large patch of care and support contracts delivering services to customers across our client groups - homelessness, mental health, young people and learning disabilities.
This role will be the key finance contact for the directorate. They will support and challenge Operational colleagues to understand their financial performance and come up with action plans to address risks/opportunities. They will work as a bridge to the rest of finance, sign posting Operational colleagues to get help and translating finance polies and principles into easy to understand language where necessary.

What you'll do:
The post-holder will be required to:
Work closely with the Director ensuring that they understand the financial performance of the Directorate. Carry out ad hoc analysis to support them with operational/strategic decision making.
Monitor the financial performance of the Directorate against budget and forecast Investigate reasons for variances and trends and advise Directors of any significant risks/opportunities and the reasons for them.
Support Operational colleagues to ensure that all invoice request forms are submitted on a timely manner
Present Directorate financial performance to Operational Colleagues as requested.
Lead monthly finance review meetings with Operational teams ensuring that they are able to clearly explain the issues in their contract/patch and supporting them to identify actions.
Support the Director to prepare for the monthly CFO performance meeting ensuring that the most significant issues are brought to the attention of the Senior Leadership Team.
Work closely with Business Development and other key stakeholders to develop and maintain sustainable pricing models for care and support contracts for use in business development and tender responses.
Lead on budgeting and forecasting for the Directorate ensuring all key changes are reflected and that risks and opportunities are fully understood and communicated to the Senior Manager for FP&A
Responsible for signing off the price for any uplifts/extensions/re-models in the patch. The Business Partner - Pricing will support with this work.

Refugee Council is seeking an experienced philanthropy specialist to develop and grow the Refugee Council’s Philanthropy relationships and programme and deliver an ambitious Philanthropy strategy.
Refugee Council is a leading charity supporting refugees and people seeking asylum to rebuild their lives in safety here in the UK. The Senior IDVA will work within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention, advocacy and support service to ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process. About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have an excellent understanding of domestic violence and its effects on women and children and of best practice within the domestic abuse sector and in working with women with children. As an experienced domestic violence advocate who has worked with complex and multiple needs, you will be skilled in risk management and safety planning, remaining calm in a crisis and in handling sensitive information on a daily basis.

IBIS House MH Step Down & Crisis
Working in partnership with the London Borough of Newham and East London Foundation Trust, IBIS House supports people who are medically fit for discharge from mental health inpatient stays but have other barriers to discharge. These may include housing, living skills, accessing benefits or the community, or other interventions and will be on a person-centred basis. The main aim of the service is to provide short-term support to customers to link with longer-term services to reduce escalations in need, and reduce inpatient readmission and reduce pressure on inpatient beds.
As a Senior Support Worker, you will be expected to undertake some duties as part of the management team which may include supporting the team with their responsibilities whilst working flexibly to respond to the needs of your own customer case load. This role will require either an extra dimension of experience or have/be working towards a higher qualification level in order to meet the role specific competencies for this position.
Shifts will be on a rota pattern and include morning shifts (08:00-16:00) and afternoon shifts (14:00-22:00).

Following their sons’ diagnosis of Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), Emily Reuben and Alex Johnson founded Duchenne UK in 2012. We are an ambitious, dynamic and impactful charity.
DMD is a devastating progressive condition diagnosed in early childhood which causes all the muscles in the body to gradually weaken. There are currently only very limited treatment options for DMD, so Emily and Alex set up Duchenne UK to change this.
Since 2012, we have raised more than £27 million to end the devastating impact of DMD. We fund ground-breaking scientific research to find effective treatments. We’ve developed the infrastructure of DMD clinical trial delivery in the UK. We engage industry and regulators to accelerate access to treatments.
