About the role
This role is critical to shaping and advancing our insights & analytics function, ensuring we harness the full potential of our digital, CRM, and data warehouse assets.
By building and leading a high-performing team and collaborating closely with the head of data, this role will set a clear strategic direction and embed a culture of test-and-learn, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
It will drive the development of robust measurement frameworks, increase automation, and empower teams to self-serve insights, ultimately enhancing decision-making across the organisation.
With a strong focus on data quality, literacy, and best practices, this role will be instrumental in transforming how we understand and engage with our supporters.
About you
We’re seeking a strategic, collaborative, and forward-thinking leader to head our insight & analytics function. You’ll bring a strong blend of technical expertise, people leadership, and a passion for data-informed decision-making. With broad experience across charity CRM data and data warehousing and a good understanding of digital analytics, you’ll also be curious about how social listening can enrich our insights. You’re recognised as a trusted expert in your field, known for setting high standards and building supportive, high-performing teams. You’ll be energised by the opportunity to help us shift from a product-first to an audience-first approach, deepening supporter engagement. You’ll bring ideas for increasing data literacy across Breast Cancer Now, adapting your approach to meet the needs of different teams.
You’ll make complex data accessible and meaningful, working collaboratively to build understanding and confidence across teams—so everyone, regardless of their data expertise, can use insights to make informed, impactful decisions.

About the role
This role is key to turning data into insight that drives strategic decisions and deepens supporter relationships. Collaborating across fundraising, digital, and service teams, you’ll proactively identify opportunities, shape analysis, and influence decision-making.
You’ll deliver clear, accessible reporting and dashboards, support and mentor colleagues, and contribute to the development of our data warehouse. You’ll embed segmentation and find ways to include AI into our work and ensure insights are timely, relevant, and easy to understand.
Trusted to work independently and manage competing priorities, you’ll deliver high-impact insight with confidence and clarity. Your expertise will help shape how data is used across the organisation, and your ideas will be welcomed as we continue to evolve our approach.
About you
You’re an experienced analyst who’s confident working independently and partnering with senior stakeholders. You bring a strong track record of translating complex data into actionable insight and influencing decisions at all levels.
You’re comfortable using tools like Power BI and combining supporter and digital data to uncover trends and opportunities. You’re proactive, detail-oriented, and confident working with complex and sensitive data, ensuring accuracy and integrity in everything you do. You communicate clearly and adapt your approach to suit different audiences, helping others build confidence with data.
You’re curious about new technologies, including AI, and keen to explore how they can improve our work. You enjoy mentoring others, improving processes, and driving continuous improvement.
Above all, you bring a collaborative mindset and a commitment to making insight meaningful and accessible.

This role is based in the UK, in one of our UK offices: Cardiff, Edinburgh, London, or Warrington

About the role
The Senior Developer (Full-stack) plays a key role in developing and enhancing user-centric digital products at Christian Aid. This position focuses on delivering high-quality front-end (70%) and back-end (30%) solutions on the Drupal CMS, ensuring seamless and intuitive user experiences.
Working closely with the Technical Lead, you’ll address complex challenges identified by stakeholders and user feedback, providing strategic direction and innovative solutions. This role is crucial to the success of our digital fundraising initiatives, requiring a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and strategic thinking.
Your responsibilities include developing and maintaining digital products, ensuring they meet user needs, adhering to accessibility standards, and maintaining brand integrity. Your work will be instrumental in creating engaging, user-friendly experiences that align with our organisational goals.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in our Restoring Rivers & Catchments Team, developing and delivering a portfolio of physical enhancement projects on the ground. This role is suitable for an experienced and knowledgeable individual to build on their existing skills, overseeing all stages of river and catchment enhancement projects; from conception to development, design and physical implementation. You can have practical impact and influence on the natural environment creating sustainable and healthy rivers for the future.
The role of a Project Officer
Whilst this role will predominantly be in the East of the region, you will need to be prepared to work all over the South East should the need arise. River enhancement projects will typically include weir removals, fish passage easements (such as rock ramps, nature-like bypasses or technical fish passes) and river re-naturalisation projects (such as habitat enhancements, reconnecting floodplains & palaeochannels, re-meandering, and backwater creation). Catchment management projects are likely to include wetland creation, Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) and Natural Flood Management (NFM) measures. We would be interested to know about any experience you have in the above fields when you apply.
Using your freshwater expertise and proven ability, you will proactively lead on smaller and medium scale projects while working closely with other staff, external partners and stakeholders. You will work with the rest of the team, drawing on the experience of more seasoned staff to help your personal career progression and likewise overseeing Assistant Project Officer and imparting your knowledge onto them. Most importantly of all, you will support the whole team, your line manager and the wider organisation.
About you
For this role we are looking for someone who is:
- Able to put their understanding of freshwater aquatic ecosystems to use by designing, overseeing and delivering projects in this environment.
- Able to work across the catchment to support the development and funding of projects.
- A great communicator able to engage and work with multiple stakeholders.
- Happy and able to get involved with the practical hands on physical delivery of the project.
