About You
Are you a passionate Philanthropy Relationship Executive who is motivated to make a real difference for the Armed Forces Community? Help for Heroes is seeking someone to be an integral part of the small, dynamic and supportive Philanthropy team at Help for Heroes.
You will have: A flexible working approach. A skilled communicator with excellent written and verbal skills. Experience of relationship-led fundraising with an understanding of donors’ motivation to give.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will provide excellent administrative and operational support to the Philanthropy team, including specific well-written copy for fundraising collateral, engaging thank you letters, impactful cases for support.
Identify, generate, develop and grow a portfolio of major donors, contributing to an agreed income target.
Your role will be varied, responsible for supporting the Philanthropy team to generate, develop and grow income from a portfolio of major donors through positive and impactful relationships and excellent stewardship. You will be a team player, able to efficiently manage and prioritise your time.

A key member of the Philanthropy/High Value Partnerships team actively securing donations and building long term partnerships from high-net-worth individuals.

As the Training Programmes Manager you will have oversight and responsibility for the healthcare professional training projects and activities, as well as growing the M4RD network within HCP groups and training institutions.
You will be key to rolling out Rare Disease 101 training for healthcare professionals all over the UK and potentially abroad. While you are not expected to deliver training yourself you will be pivotal to creating opportunities and facilitating all aspects of the programme.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Co-lead M4RD’s Ambassador Programme, managing the clinical and medical student ambassadors.

Planning and delivering training events.

Deliver educational and training projects inline with M4RD’s current strategy and work programme.

Collaborate with training institutions and NHS workplaces inline with M4RD’s current strategy and work programme.

Potential to manage up to two members of the M4RD Team.

Support the CEO and Operations & Finance Manager with recruitment duties, operational strategy and development and coaching any relevant staff.

Salary: £43,665 per annum

As an Area Manager you will give leadership, direction and guidance to the staff of Medaille Trust to ensure the provision and development of a high quality service in line with the Trust’s Mission, Values and Strategy.
You will have a good understanding of the CQC framework relating to Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking. You will carry out quarterly assurance audits in all safe houses ensuring any appropriate action is taken where necessary.
You will line manage, induct, mentor, coach and support Service Managers. Additionally, you will ensure that any complaints, grievances and disciplinaries are investigated and responded to in an effective and timely manner in line with Medaille Policies.
Although the post is home based, the post holder will be expected to travel frequently to our safe houses within the South and London areas with some overnight stays.
You must have previous experience in a relevant sector or experience of working with adults that are vulnerable. Experience of managing staff, carrying out line management, supervision and appraisals is essential. Additionally, you must have experience of setting up Service User Engagement groups.
