The Role
The Digital Marketing Officer plays a vital role in delivering high-performing digital campaigns that drive supporter acquisition and engagement. Working within the charity’s marketing team, you will focus on paid media and content creation to support a broad range of charity initiatives, ranging from fundraising campaigns to service uptake.
Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, you will lead the execution of digital campaigns from planning through to optimisation, developing channel strategies, briefing content, and managing delivery. You will also collaborate with agency partners to ensure smooth and effective delivery.
Specifically, you will:
- Lead the creation and implementation of digital marketing campaigns. These may include, for example, fundraising, services, retail and political campaigns

About You

About the Church Commissioners
Established in 1948, The Church Commissioners works to support the Church of England's ministry.
The main aspects to the work of the Church Commissioners are as follows:
Managing the endowment fund
The Investments team of c. 85 colleagues manages the Church's permanent endowment fund. This £11.1 billion fund (as at 31st December 2024) is one of the largest in the country and has its origins in Queen Anne's Bounty, which was established in 1704.
The fund represents a diverse investments portfolio, which is managed with a strong focus on responsible and ethical investments that enable the funding support for the Church of England to grow in line with agreed investment return targets.
Church-Facing Commissioner Teams
There are three Church-facing Commissioner Teams:
- The Church Buildings team of c. 35 colleagues supports dioceses and parishes with the care, conservation and development of historic church buildings, advises on permissions for changes to church buildings and provides guidance on architectural and heritage matters. It helps churches adapt for worship and community use and works with government to advise on policies that affect church buildings;
- The Mission & Pastoral Services team of c. 10 colleagues supports the creation, merger and closure of parishes and benefices. It oversees the adjustment of parish boundaries, supports dioceses on the legal framework for pastoral change, and handles the legal steps when a church building is no longer required for public worship, including finding suitable alternative uses or disposal;
- The Bishoprics & Cathedrals team of c. 40 colleagues advises on the provision of suitable housing and office accommodation for diocesan bishops and archbishops, funding bishops' working costs, and supporting cathedrals in their governance and sustainability. It also oversees , the historic library and record office of the Archbishops of Canterbury and the main archive for the documentary history of the Church of England.
Central Support and Governance
Overall, there are c. 10 colleagues in the Central support and governance team:
- The Commissioners' Secretariat team supports the Chief Executive, senior trustees and Board in all aspects of their governance;
- The Engagement Manager is responsible for working closely with a wide variety of Commissioners' teams to help ensure that the Church Commissioners has effective engagement with a wide variety of Stakeholders;
- The Strategic Programme management team varies in size depending on the strategic projects currently underway (see below for further details).
Church of England Central Services (ChECS)
The Church Commissioners is supported by a number of key enabling teams which are part of the Church of England Central Services. This NCI consists of Finance, Assurance, Technology, Data, Project Management, Communications and Legal teams. The ChECS team is c. 150 colleagues.
The Church Commissioners is accountable to Parliament, General Synod and, as a registered charity, to the Charity Commission. The Archbishop of Canterbury is the Commissioners' Chair and the current Deputy Chair is the Bishop of Salisbury. Three of the Commissioners' trustees are known as Church Estates Commissioners (CECs), who will be key stakeholders for this role. The First CEC chairs the Assets (investment) Committee and the Second CEC is an MP who helps exercise accountability to Parliament. Both are appointed by HM The King on the advice of the Prime Minister. The Third CEC chairs committees that oversee the work of the Church-facing Commissioner Teams and is appointed by the Archbishop of Canterbury.
The Director of Strategy and Engagement has direct responsibility for Central Support and Governance, comprising the Commissioners' Secretariat (4 colleagues), the Engagement Manager and the Strategic Programme Management team (c. 5 colleagues). Additional Strategic Programme team members may be added as further strategic projects are commissioned.
Strategic focus
- Support the Chief Executive and Board with the development, articulation and delivery of the Commissioners' strategic business plan to enable it to support the mission and ministry of the Church of England, engaging widely and authentically in so doing;
- Act as a close adviser and sounding board for the Chief Executive and leadership team, ensuring the provision of accurate and timely advice, briefings and presentations;
- Assist in developing and delivering plans and projects to give life to the business plan.
Communications and stakeholder engagement
- Advise on, and support, stakeholder engagement. Develop and implement engagement and communications strategies for key stakeholders and leaders, e.g., bishops, parliamentarians, dioceses and General Synod (the Church's legislative and deliberative body). This includes major projects and programmes of work and liaison with the Communications team;
- Champion the views of key stakeholders and beneficiaries within the Commissioners, helping to ensure that business plans and projects reflect the perspectives of the wider Church.
Project support
- Manage complex or sensitive strategic projects and issues, thinking through the consequences of those projects, decisions and communications, including considering reputation matters.
- Facilitate the implementation of change plans, working closely with the Commissioners' leadership team and other NCI executive team colleagues.
- Support the implementation of cross-NCI programmes from the Commissioners' perspective;
- Use the Project and Programme Methodology adopted by the Church Commissioners and participate in current project governance structures - working with the PMO to continue to improve this.
Provide leadership and support to project teams, including:
- the Programme Spire team (which is managing a multi-year research programme to understand and respond to the charity's historic links to African chattel enslavement);
- any changes to the organisational structure for the Church Commissioners, ensuring they are provided with appropriate performance targets and support. This should be done working closely with the appropriate Finance and People teams.
Leadership and wider context
- Keep up to date with current events, trends and concerns which might affect the work of the Commissioners, NCIs and the wider Church;
- Support the wider Church as a senior leader, contributing to the development of the NCIs. Draw connections between operational activities in different teams, and with other NCI activities where appropriate.
- A salary of c.£95,000 plus age-related pension contributions between 8-15% of salary. We will also match any pension contributions you make up to an additional 3% of your salary.
- 30 days annual leave plus eight bank holidays three additional days (pro-rated if working part-time).

Suffolk Wildlife Trust is looking for a suitably skilled & highly capable Senior Finance Officer. This is a pivotal position within a small, dedicated finance team, where you will support the effectiveness of day-to-day financial support and ensure that accurate, timely information is available to management. You’ll be responsible for recording financial data across a range of systems and processes, helping to provide a robust financial foundation for Suffolk Wildlife Trust.
A major focus of the role will be the accurate and efficient processing of all financial transactions. This includes the purchase and sales ledgers, carrying out bank reconciliations, managing credit control and supporting the approval of payment runs.
Your attention to detail and strong numeracy skills will be essential in maintaining the integrity of the Trust’s financial records and ensuring that everything ties up smoothly each month and at year end.
Alongside core finance work, you will support the Trust’s trading operations by managing the online shop, overseeing stock for both online and retail outlets and working with EPOS and ECWID systems. You’ll also provide finance support to the Consultancy Team and Café operations, helping these income-generating activities run smoothly and contribute to the Trust’s wider objectives.
Working closely with the Financial Controller, you will support key financial cycles including year-end and the annual audit for both the Trust and SWT Trading, as well as month-end processes, balance sheet reconciliations and management accounts. You’ll also assist with VAT returns, legacies, project reconciliations, restricted fund allocations, budgeting and ad hoc reporting, giving you a broad and varied workload.
The ideal candidate will have strong numeracy and Excel skills, previous experience in a similar finance role and either AAT qualified or qualified by equivalent experience. You’ll be organised, efficient, proactive and comfortable multi-tasking in a small team, with a willingness to learn and take a hands-on approach. Above all, you’ll be motivated by Suffolk Wildlife Trust’s mission and keen to use your finance skills to support nature’s recovery in Suffolk.
This is a permanent position working 30 hours per week over four days based at our main office Brooke House in Ashbocking. We operate flexible homeworking arrangements where colleagues spend more time working together than homeworking. The starting salary will be between £24,800 (FTE £31,000) and £26,400 (FTE £33,000) per annum depending on skills, knowledge and experience. Full time hours (37.5 over five days) would be considered for the right candidate.

Introduction
The Senior Fundraising Officer role is a key position within the Fundraising Team in Wales with the main aim to secure income from Grants, Trusts & Foundations and Corporates. The Senior Fundraising Officer will work against annual targets to achieve the RSPB's goals, playing a key role in building financial support for nature.
What's the role about?
The Senior Fundraising Officer will be expected to:
- Identify, develop and deliver fundraising projects and match these to agreed priority areas to maximise income.
- Lead on the development of funding plans for priority work as allocated.
- Contribute to the implementation of an agreed fundraising opportunities and lead on large funding bids across one or more income stream.
- Scope, develop and manage funding relationships and multi stakeholder bids to optimise opportunities and ensure successful funding arrangements.
- Identify the requirements of our funders, including analysis of potential risk and communications requirements to ensure effective dialogue and delivery of any funding and compliance conditions.
- Provide forecasts for budgeting and make recommendations for change in order to provide accurate financial information for RSPB leadership.
- Update and utilise contact databases to ensure accurate records are kept to facilitate effective contact management across the organisation.
- Ensure funders and donors have an excellent supporter experience and increase their understanding and awareness of RSPB vision and work.
Essential skills, knowledge and experience:
- Understanding of fundraising and donor/supporter motivations and how to build cases for support.
- Able to articulate understanding of GDPR and data protection relating to funder/supporter information and how to use a fundraising database such as Raisers Edge, Care or Salesforce.
- Solutions-focused approach, with the ability to overcome set-backs in order to get the right outcome for the RSPB.
- Proven excellent writing and presentation skills.
- Budget management.
- Able to interpret complex information and communicate it simply to target audiences.
- Able to deliver high level of customer service to a variety of audiences.
- Persuasive communicator and negotiator with the ability to influence.
- Able to work under own initiative, with the confidence to ask for support and direction where needed.
- Proven experience in fundraising/ sales/project management and delivering to income targets. and proven experience of relationship development in an outward facing role in the not for profit or private sector.

About the role

As a senior community fundraiser, you’ll be an important part of the team building Breast Cancer Now’s presence in Scotland, with a particular focus on Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.
We’re looking for someone who is an experienced relationship builder, someone who can find and develop new supporters. You’ll need excellent local knowledge, and the enthusiasm to develop a brand-new fundraising region.
The successful candidate will also be part of the team working on our large-scale project supporting and growing Asda Tickled Pink, our award-winning partnership with Asda and CoppaFeel! which has already raised over £100 million.
You’ll work directly with passionate colleagues across Asda stores in your region driving new fundraising initiatives, inspiring communities and celebrating incredible successes.

About you

Primary location of role
This is a remote role, and the candidate will need to be based in the Edinburgh area with unlimited access to their own car. Regular travel will be required to meet supporters and visit Asda stores in your region, as well as occasional travel to our London, Sheffield or Glasgow office.

AFRIL is recruiting for an experienced, dynamic Senior Caseworker to join our growing Casework Team. The successful candidate will provide advice and casework to asylum seekers, refugees and migrants in South East London on matters relating to housing and homelessness, welfare benefits, NRPF support, community care and asylum support. The candidate has the exciting opportunity to lead on the delivery of AFRIL's Casework Drop-in for asylum seekers and recently granted refugees, supported by a Caseworker and Outreach Volunteers. The post holder, if not already Immigration Advice Authority (IAA) accredited, will also be supported to obtain IAA Level 2 accreditation, to embed some immigration legal advice into their broader caseload.
AFRIL’s Casework Service also uses casework trends and data to work with community members in order to engage in policy and systemic change. Utilising casework and community co-production, the service has created sector wide resources on asylum support, engaged in strategic litigation and successfully influenced local, pan-London and national policy outcomes. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to feed into AFRIL's broader policy work, and develop local partnerships.

Key responsibilities
Events
· Oversee, coordinate and deliver our calendar of fundraising events including logistics and administration.
· Help organise our annual Appeal Dinner, the Trust’s flagship fundraising event, overseeing all administration, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and oversee adverts in Appeal Dinner brochure.
· Liaise with companies to arrange corporate events with Holocaust survivor speakers and develop relationships with existing and new companies to increase income in this area.
· Oversee and work with Young HET supporters to motivate them to fundraise for the Trust
· Work with other colleagues to market events through targeted messaging.
· Develop ideas for new fundraising campaigns, initiatives and events to grow income and cultivate new donors.
Community Fundraising
· Support fundraising campaigns including the coordination of appeals, newsletters and mailouts.
· Establish a programme of fundraising challenges (such as marathons and sporting events) to generate income and supporter engagement, building key relationships.
· Work with our Education and Outreach teams to oversee engagement and support from schools, synagogues and other institutions.
· Lead on digital fundraising campaigns and prepare content for social media.
General
· To manage the acknowledgment and thanking of donations and help to ensure the database is maintained.
· Work collaboratively with the Fundraising team on current and future fundraising strategy and activities, to shape fundraising priorities.
· Comply with relevant legislation with regards to data protection including General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018.
· As part of a small team, to contribute to other areas of the Trust’s work as required.
