World Jewish Relief launched the Specialist Training and Employment Programme (STEP) for refugees in 2016 and today we are the largest provider of specialist employment support to people who have experienced forced migration in the UK. 

STEP aims to support refugees and others who have experienced forced migration to overcome the complex barriers they face in preparing for, and ultimately finding, work in the UK. We work with individuals, regardless of their background or proximity to the labour market, helping them develop the skills and access the opportunities they need to secure sustainable and meaningful employment.

We deliver STEP through both online and in-person programmes across the UK. Our work includes targeted support for women refugees, Afghan nationals, Ukrainians, and people who have come through the asylum system.

Our flagship in-person programme is delivered in partnership with a network of expert local delivery partners — including local authorities and NGOs — to ensure high-quality, community-based support.

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Programme Officer, who will be central to the smooth delivery and coordination of the STEP In-Person Programme. You will work closely with a network of expert partners, including local authorities and NGOs, to ensure high-quality, accessible support is delivered within communities.

You will be responsible for a range of programme and partnership management tasks, including oversight of grant payments, data and impact reporting, delivery partner support, and internal training and induction. You will also contribute to the design and delivery of specialist strands of STEP, including our pilot programme for people seeking asylum and our Experts by Experience Board. You will work closely with the STEP Programme Manager to implement the programme’s current delivery and help shape its future direction into 2025 and beyond.

About you

• Experience of working in a programme delivery or coordination role, particularly supporting refugees or other marginalised groups into employment

About the role

Through Salesforce management you will drive our organisational strategy, for the benefit of colleagues, supporters and people affected by Parkinson’s. You will manage the continuous improvement of all Salesforce platforms, working with stakeholders and Operations teams to identify and help to deliver Salesforce solutions to meet user and business needs. What you’ll do

• Be accountable for Salesforce technical decisions for the CRM Programme and be prepared to justify those decisions to all levels in the charity.

• Define and manage the roadmap and supporting backlog for both NPC and NPSP to ensure products that will most positively impact the business and people affected by Parkinson’s are prioritised.

• Manage the roadmap and supporting backlog for the BAU Salesforce platforms (NPSP)

• Line manage, coach and develop systems administrators and provide hands on support where needed.

What you’ll bring

• Certified Salesforce Administrator is essential. Other relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g. Consultant, BA, App builder, Developer) are beneficial. 

• Extensive experience in leading technology transformation initiatives, including product development, user experience, and system integration. 

• Proven ability to manage complex technology projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and with measurable impact. 

• Practical understanding of Salesforce NPC, Service Cloud and NonProfit Success Pack.

What you'll do:

Night Support Workers enable people with particular needs to manage their tenancies and live independent lives of their choosing in the community. Night Support Workers are responsible for ensuring continuity of a support service at night and for keeping customers and the building safe.

The Role

What will I be doing?

• Create a powerful alliance of Corporate Partners to influence science strategies and investment in areas such as advanced sensing, photonics, quantum technologies, semiconductors, renewable energy, autonomous systems and medtech
• Secure long-term relationships by delivering impactful services that meet partners’ needs: working with cross-organisation teams to drive take up of IOP membership, professional registrations, thought leadership articles and access to publishing content
• Manage risks and ensure financial sustainability of the Corporate Partners Alliance

Projects you work on may include:

• Deliver annual series of leadership visits to Corporate Partners organisations to explore interests and common priorities around skills, R&D, infrastructure and business support
• Manage and deliver science insights and advocacy activities with Corporate Partners, via high-level meetings with senior stakeholders in government, industry, finance and academia
• Facilitate ideation workshops, prepare briefings and produce reports to develop new insights and seed new activities to support IOP and partner priorities

Who will I work with?

• Executive Directors and Chief Technology Officers in large R&D intensive businesses
• IOP leadership and cross-organisational teams including our publishing company
• Closely with IOP Associate Director for Science, Business and Data Insights

You are likely to have the following experience

• Credibility in building corporate partnerships with c-suite and senior leaders in R&D intensive, large businesses
• Knowledge of working at the interface of government policy, business and academia regarding science, technology and innovation
• Experience of implementing projects that involve managing senior stakeholders and decision makers in business and securing income targets

Here at Construction Youth Trust, we're on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals who are excited to learn and ready to dive into a supported internship. This is a fantastic chance to get a hands-on feel for what it's like to work in the charity sector. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the wider development of the Trust e.g. participation in strategic working or Task & Finish groups.

As a Delivery Team Intern, your key duties and responsibilities could include:

· Supporting the team to deliver fun and engaging programmes and activities for young people to get them ready for the working world by building on their skills and confidence.

· Supporting the team in the development of effective long-term working relationships with schools and referral partners.

· Supporting the team to enlist, manage and coordinate the support of local industry partners to connect young people with opportunities and employers that match their unique strengths and interests.

About You
