The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (RCOG) plays a leading role in improving women’s healthcare across the world. We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Corporate Development Manager to play a leading role in driving income generation through strategic partnerships and sponsorship.

Migrateful is an award-winning social enterprise and registered charity founded in 2017. Our mission is to support refugees and migrants facing barriers to employment and integration in the UK by offering training, paid work, and a supportive community.

About the Role

The Operations Support Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of Migrateful’s cookery classes and the overall effectiveness of our operations. 

A key deliverable of this role is also overseeing our invoicing processes. You’ll be responsible for performing bi-weekly checks, ensuring timely and accurate payments to cookery class hosts (Facilitators) and cookery class teachers (Chefs), and supporting improvements that help us better track the real cost of our classes. Your work will directly impact the financial clarity and efficiency of our operations, making this a crucial responsibility within the team.

You’ll also play the important role of supporting Facilitators by creating practical guides, coordinating training and skills-sharing sessions, gathering feedback, and maintaining up-to-date documentation such as health and safety records. 

Alongside this, you’ll help manage other key areas of Operations like responding to customer and volunteer queries, coordinating volunteers for public and corporate classes, and supporting process improvements around our use of Salesforce.

This role would suit someone who is proactive, organised, and comfortable juggling a variety of tasks. You’ll need to be confident working with systems, have a good eye for detail, and thrive on improving how things work.

Person specification

Essential

• Experience working in an operations, administrative or coordination role 

• Good attention to detail particularly in handling data, documents and financial information

• Confident engaging with a wide range of people from staff, freelancers and customers

• Ability to work independently and proactively, using initiative to troubleshoot and resolve issues

• Confident user of IT systems, particularly Google Workspace and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)

• Willingness to undertake reasonable responsibilities beyond the scope of the job description

• Experience creating, updating, and maintaining user guides and training materials

Key Responsibilities

Invoicing

• Perform bi-weekly invoice checks and capture these on SalesForce

• Support the continuous improvement of invoicing systems to enhance cost reporting and financial accuracy

Support Cookery Class Hosts (Facilitators) 

• Coordinate the recruitment and onboarding of new Facilitators

• Regularly update and improve Facilitator user guides and training materials

• Maintain regular communication with Facilitators, including announcements and process updates

• Carry out in-class observations and provide constructive feedback to Facilitators

• Provide out-of-hours remote support for Facilitators

• Share and implement improvements based on Facilitator feedback and survey results

Volunteer Coordination

• Respond to volunteer queries and troubleshoot the Volunteer Portal

• Ensure adequate volunteer coverage for all cookery classes

General Operations Administration

• Maintain up-to-date operational records (e.g. DBS checks, risk assessments, food hygiene certificates)

• Complete ad hoc administrative tasks (e.g. equipment inventories, printing and laminating recipes)

• Support the implementation of operational policies across venues and staff
   

Cover and Additional Support

• Occasional out of hours support to facilitators

• Provide cover for the Venue Coordinator during annual leave ensuring::

  • Food orders are placed for classes and demos

  • Store food items in line with food safety standards

  • Respond to customer queries via the general hello@ mailbox

Systems and Process Improvement

• Contribute to the improvement of internal systems and processes, including support for Salesforce streamlining

• Office based admin e.g. purchasing office supplies, tracking equipment

 AFK is a national charity helping young disabled people develop their independence and find employment. Our vision is a world where all people living with a disability get to lead the life they choose. As part of this we provide bespoke employment skills training and organise work placements across North London. At a national level, we provide mobility equipment not available on the NHS for disabled children and young people up to the age of 25.

Job Purpose

To support young people with disabilities aged 18 to 25 to progress towards and into employment.

The role will involve liaising with education professionals and employers and brokering new opportunities for supported employment, volunteering, and work placements. You will work with young people to provide specialist one to one coaching, assess, and develop their employability skills and support them towards their own goals and objectives. 

Working Conditions

This post is 35 hours per week. The post holder will occasionally be expected to work some evenings and weekends as required by the job.

28 days annual leave will be given in addition to normal public holidays. There is a TOIL Policy.

Principle Responsibilities

· Work with a caseload of individual young people to identify and support their aspirations for future employment and formulate plans to enable them to achieve their goals.

· Contribute to progress reports, reviews, open evenings and other events with education professionals, families, and young people

· Provide intensive 1:1 support in all aspects of employment support.

· Inform and work closely with the Employment Broker on the type of jobs that trainees want sourced, or job carved so that placements can be sought.

· Refer people for specialist advice and support 

· Secure voluntary work, work tasters and work experience placements for individuals to support their journey towards employment.

· Work with our experienced Service Delivery Team to deliver or co-ordinate coaching, and training as required.

· Support people in the workplace as required.

· Develop and maintain knowledge of the local labour market and opportunities relating to employment, work experience and volunteering.

· Develop and maintain effective working relationships with local employer groups, statutory, voluntary, and private organizations to support the development of suitable opportunities.

· Engage with businesses that can create employment, volunteering, and work placements, including providing training / advice to employers as required.

· Identify any financial implications for individuals related to part time employment and disability benefits.

· Monitor the progress of individuals and keep appropriate records.

· Undertake necessary administrative duties relating to the role.

· Undertake learning and development as identified through regular appraisals and reviews.

About the Role

A core strand of the charity’s offering works to help adults build the skills, knowledge, confidence and behaviours to manage their money well. We do this by delivering Financial Wellbeing Workshops, Webinars, Specialist Programmes, Consultancy projects and through distribution of our Money Manual. The charity works with both community (charities/social enterprises) and commercial organisations to reach adults in their context of need.

Reporting to the Director of Workplace & Community Programmes and working as part of a small team, the successful candidate for this role will support the organisation and administration of our fully-funded Financial Wellbeing Workshops, our Specialist Programme for adults with Learning Difficulties, and other ad-hoc Community-oriented projects. Our Community Workshops and Programmes are delivered in partnership with organisations in a range of settings up and down the UK, with the participants being their beneficiaries or service users. Role Responsibilities:

● Support Finance Manager in day-to-day financial operations, including month-end

and year-end closing processes:

● Cash Management: Overseeing the handling of cash receipts and

disbursements, ensuring accurate recording, and managing bank balances.

This includes reconciling bank accounts and petty cash.

● Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts receivable, accounts payable, and

credit card statements, ensuring that balances are accurate and up to date.

● Journal Adjustments: Making entries in the accounting system to correct errors

or to record transactions that are not entered automatically.

This specifically includes:

● Prepayments: Accounting for expenses paid in advance.

● Accruals: Recognizing expenses incurred but not yet paid, or income

earned but not yet received.

● Payroll: Processing payroll transactions, ensuring accurate payment of

salaries and wages, and recording related deductions and taxes.

● Prepare mid and end of the month BACS payment run and ensure that

suppliers, staff and students are paid within payment terms.

● Support Head of Finance on the external and internal audits;

● Gathering and organising financial records and documents needed for the

audit process.

● Responding to inquiries: Addressing questions and requests for information

from auditors.

● Prepare the VAT statement for review by the Finance Manager.

● Ensure all suppliers’ invoices are attached to purchase requisitions on

ApprovalMax and in Xero.

● Ensure that all income is recorded against the relevant nominal code and cost

account and that the correct VAT code is used.

● Ensure that all requests for sales invoices are monitored and chased so that

the prompt payment is received.

Person Specification

● ​Previous Officer/Administrator experiences are ideal but not necessary.

● Ability to undertake administrative tasks and development of effective office systems

and procedures.

● Ability to use information technology for word processing, spreadsheets and

databases and ideally you will have a typing speed of over 60 words per minute.

We are recruiting a Dad Matters Coordinator to help us reach more families in Brent. This is a great opportunity for someone with parenting experience to support new dads at a critical time in their parenting journey.

The Dad Matters Coordinator will support dads with attachment and bonding, mental health and access to services. You will have the ability to work with professionals and healthcare services to ensure dads are engaged, supported and heard within clinical pathways. Additionally, you will help develop and run group sessions with dads and will be at the forefront of growing our volunteering opportunities.

No formal experience of healthcare, mental health services or children's services is required - you will just need the compassion and skills to enable dads to have those difficult conversations, and talk about how they’re really feeling.

We are looking for someone proactive who is keen to make a difference. Someone with good people-skills, who can build on our existing relationships in the borough. The work requires a regular presence in Brent for visibility, field-based community engagement and training.

We are recruiting a Cattery Carer & Cat Foster Coordinator who will share our compassion and commitment for animal welfare.

Working with staff and volunteers across the Home, you will have a hand in helping all the cats in our care, from feeding, cleaning, behaviourally assessing and socialising to rehoming. You will be responsible for organising cats in our care going into temporary foster homes. This can be physically and emotionally demanding but is also hugely rewarding; you can view some of our amazing rescue stories here.

Generally, you will:

• Assist in the provision of treatment to cats as advised by our veterinary staff.
• Organise the cat foster programme, matching suitable cats with cat foster volunteers and advise on cat behaviour.
• Organise the cat intake list, providing owners with advice and where appropriate admitting cats into the Cattery.
• Assist the Cat Adoption Officer with rehoming the cats under our care.
• Work flexibly in a team environment, often independently, to meet the specific needs of  the cats in our care by helping with their feeding, cleaning, enrichment and grooming.

To be successful in this role, you need:

– A strong understanding of cat behaviour and welfare

– Excellent customer service skills

– Experience in handling cats and caring for them

– A calm, compassionate, resilient and friendly manner

The Organisation

The Role

As a Visitor Support Officer, you will provide excellent customer service by triaging and responding to visitor support queries.

Responding to phone calls and emails, you’ll record relevant information and investigate and respond to complaints, escalating where necessary to support a speedy resolution.
