The successful individual will be at the heart of our work with local communities in the Southeast, to build trust, raise awareness, and connect people affected by dementia to our incredible information, support and services. You will build meaningful and trusted relationships, organise and attend events, and engage a passionate network of volunteers across the region/area through face to face and online events.
You will report to the Local Communities and Volunteering Lead and collaborate with Local Services Managers, to help bring our community engagement plans to life—with a strong focus on reaching underserved communities.

This role requires extensive travel across Southeast England and will also include home working. You will be responsible for transporting materials, equipment, and resources between multiple venues as part of your regular duties. Candidates must be able to demonstrate how they can reliably meet these travel and transport requirements of the role. Whilst we're committed to flexible working and welcome conversations about how we can support your needs, regular travel and the ability to transport work-related items independently are essential aspects of this position.
Areas this role will cover include: Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Hampshire and Islands, Surrey, Sussex, Kent, and Dorset. You must live within a reasonable commutable distance to these areas.

What you’ll focus on:
- Growing our impact and reach through work with local communities and volunteers.
- Representing Alzheimer’s Society externally, sharing information relating to dementia, support and services.
- Gathering insight and learning from collaboration with communities to share with other teams and directorates
- Recruiting and role managing community volunteers.
Please note: This role is a fixed term contract spanning 12 months. For internal candidates this role will be offered on secondment.
To be successful in this role you may already have worked in similar positions such as Community Engagement Officer, Community Development Officer, Neighbourhood Officer, Community Outreach Worker, Campaign Coordinator, Community Relations Officer, Volunteering Officer or other related positions. · Craft/develop content for the Coalition’s social media channels and website

· Monitor networks/trending topics to ensure that the Coalition maximises any opportunities to respond to appropriate topics
· Provide analysis of the effectiveness of our content through regular reporting including key metrics such as reach, impressions and engagement
· Keep the website updated – including making changes to pages as well as building new ones

About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Strategic Communications and Policy Influencing Lead to spearhead the implementation of the Safeguarding Resource and Support Hub (RSH) communications and policy influencing strategy globally. The position will shape and oversee the programme’s global communications and policy influencing strategies, ensuring coherence across national and global levels.
This role is central to translating strategy into action at national and global levels: working closely with country teams, donors, civil society, and survivor-led organisations to strengthen prevention, accountability, and justice frameworks. The role will align communications outputs to influencing and other strategic goals and making sure national and global work connects. The programme will support teams across Bangladesh, Jordan, Pakistan and Syria, as well as other countries still to be decided.
About the Programme
The Safeguarding Resource and Support Hub (RSH) is a programme that aims to support organisations in the aid sector to strengthen their safeguarding policy and practice against Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Sexual Harassment (SEAH). RSH supports organisations working in both the humanitarian and development sectors and is driven by the needs of smaller national or local organisations in developing countries.The programme is funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) until 2030.

Senior Programme Manager (Part-time Contract)
The Role:
This is an exciting 15-month contract opportunity for a Senior Programme Manager with experience in participatory/community arts who is passionate about driving impactful change and fostering intergenerational connections within an evolving, inclusive organisation. You will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless continuity and high-quality delivery of our respected intergenerational and care home arts programme during a period of organisational evolution.

You excel at cultivating strong, authentic relationships with community and non-arts organisations, artists, and participants. With a proven track record in socially engaged practice and direct line management, you are adept at navigating changing environments and possess excellent communication skills that build and maintain vital connections. Key responsibilities and deliverables:

Programme oversight & leadership: Provide oversight of the full year creative programme, ensuring high quality delivery and the effective integration of individual projects. Collaborate on the design and management of the overall programme budget and manage staff and artist capacity.

Team leadership & mentorship: Line-manage two Project Managers, fostering a supportive environment and prioritizing their development. Provide direct mentorship to a designated Project Manager as part of Magic Me's internal succession plan for the SPM role.

Project practice & frameworks: Take responsibility for implementing effective ways of working for the Programme Team. Oversee project evaluation and ensure evaluation practice adheres to the ACE Impact & Insight framework.

Partnership & artist relationships: Nurture key partner and artist relationships and oversee the Project Managers' portfolios of key relationships. Identify, engage, and establish potential arts and non-arts partners and participants for the 26/27 programme.

UK for UNHCR, the UK partner of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), is seeking an Individual Giving leader to shape the future of Individual Giving at the organisation and unlock long-term, sustainable income growth.
UNHCR stands alongside people forced to flee their homes, advocating for their rights and raising funds to support their protection, dignity and futures. UNHCR’s work has never been more important – by the end of 2024, a record 122.6 million people were displaced, with children accounting for 40% of all forcibly displaced people
UK for UNHCR (UK4U) builds solidarity and raises funds in the UK for refugees worldwide - last year UK4U raised a total income of £25.5 million and continues to build on strong foundations since its beginnings in 2019.
The charity is now seeking a Director of Individual Giving in a new and exciting opportunity to explore how UK4U can expand on these foundations, with a focus on increasing the sustainability of the donor base and maximising lifetime value, as well as identifying opportunities for transformational income growth.
The role will be responsible for leading a team of 12 people and strategic leadership for all fundraising from the UK public, including mid-value and legacy supporters, and covering both digital and offline channels. The post-holder will utilise market insight, data intelligence and an innovative approach to design a high-performing long-term Individual Giving strategy that puts UK4U’s supporters and refugee communities at the heart of everything they do.
The ideal candidate will have substantial experience of leading successful, large-scale multi-million-pound Individual Giving programmes and proven leadership experience at a senior, strategic level. You will have a strong track record of fostering innovation in Individual Giving, alongside the experience shaping strategy and making significant investment decisions.
You will also have a deep understanding of the UK Individual Giving fundraising market across all channels and of programmes that focus on value, high average gift rates and mid-value programmes. Finally, you will be an inclusive and empowering leader with a strong commitment to the refugee cause. Experience of fundraising for international humanitarian and development causes would be an advantage, as well as understanding of mid-value programmes.
